Xuanquan (Chinese: 玄全) is one of the seven Arbiter-Generals of the Xianzhou Alliance. Described as "mighty and powerful," she presides over the Xianzhou Fanghu.

Profile

During her questioning of Jing Yuan regarding the Stellaron Crisis, Feixiao mentioned that if Yaoguang or Youwu were sent in her stead, their conversation wouldn't have been so friendly, leaving out Xuanquan, which suggests that she has a more amicable personality than the other two.

Jing Yuan has said that Xuanquan has a hatred for evil, and was certain that she would make a just decision regarding the punishment of Preceptor Taoran. Lingsha was confident that Xuanquan would earn the respect and assent of all the Vidyadhara on the Xianzhou Luofu. She is often compared to Feixiao, indicating she may be a more martial General as her description of being mighty and powerful suggests.

Etymology

• Xuanquan's name 玄全 means "mysterious" and "whole" in Chinese.
• The title Seiche Queller (伏波将军 Fúbō Jiāngjūn) may refer to General Fubo (Chinese: 伏波将军 Fúbō Jiāngjūn, "General who Calms the Waves"). General Fubo is a general title in the Han Dynasty, and was first established by Emperor Wu during the Han conquest of Nanyue.
• A seiche is a standing wave in an enclosed or partially enclosed body of water. Seiches and seiche-related phenomena have been observed on lakes, reservoirs, swimming pools, bays, harbors, caves and seas. The key requirement for formation of a seiche is that the body of water be at least partially bounded, allowing the formation of the standing wave.
