Dialogue[]
- (First interaction)
- Woolsey: Be careful when you cross the road. Your body won't die if you get wounded in a dream, but the pain from a car crash still hurts like the real thing...
- Woolsey: ...If the impact of the pain is too intense, you'll be startled awake from your dream. In other words, I'm guessing no one in the Dreamscape really wants to witness a horrific car crash?
- Woolsey: But don't worry, The Family protects each and every guest with utmost care. We have many security measures to maintain the Dreamscape's safety.
Are you a traffic volunteer?
- Woolsey: Haha, I'm more than happy to lend a hand.
- Woolsey: But, I'm actually the Bloodhound Family's Guard Leader. Protecting travelers is my duty.
- Woolsey: As a guest, I hope you will abide by the Dreaming Regulations, and refrain from burdening others with a bad experience in the Dreamscape.
- Woolsey: As for those offenders who seek to sully the Dreamscape, we will sternly issue them with a warning — it would be for the best if one would avoid this outcome in the first place.
Are you being punished with guard duty?
- Woolsey: From where I stand, protecting the safety of guests is no punishment at all.
- Woolsey: This may be a very basic job, but that doesn't mean it is meaningless. The Family's businesses rely plenty on patrons who contribute to them. Only in unity can greatness be achieved.
- Woolsey: You're not a Family member, so it's only natural you don't understand our ways. I forgive your insolence.
I have some questions for you...
- Woolsey: You've asked the right person then. Servicing guests is one of the duties of every Family member. I will answer as best as I can.
What is the Family?
- Woolsey: The Family is both the creator and administrator of the Dreamscape, and they are of decisive importance in Penacony.
- Woolsey: Apart from us Bloodhound Family, there are also four other major lineages of Oak, Alfalfa, Nightingale, and Iris. Each family is charged with different jobs and is very tight-knit.
Are they really?
- Woolsey: Of course. That is not hyperbole. The only reason that The Family was able to make sure the Dreamscape runs in such an orderly manner is due to the various families' earnest unity. We are all without conflict or disagreement.
- Woolsey: In the vast universe, the strength of an individual is insignificant. Only through mutual help and binding our hearts as one, can humans perform superhuman feats.
- Woolsey: This is also the Great One's teachings unto us. Everyone would do well to remember them by heart.
What does the Bloodhound Family do?
- Woolsey: Among the five lineages, we hounds manage security and maintain order. It's not just the police — our members are also in charge of the firemen, detectives, and other vocations.
- Woolsey: Think about the characteristics of a hound: clever, battle-hardy, loyal. These are also the virtues of each Bloodhound member. We are the shield of Penacony's beautiful dream, safekeeping the well-being of our guests.
- Woolsey: Of course, if someone flouts the Dreaming Regulations, he will very quickly learn how frightening and persistent the Bloodhounds are.
I have no questions right now.
- Woolsey: Watch yourself. If you run into danger, the Bloodhounds are at your service.
- Woolsey: Oh right, since it's rare that someone would bother to talk to me, I'll give this to you. A friend from the Oak Family gave it to me... but I don't have a sweet tooth.

- (If Woolsey's Emotion is set to Calm)
- Woolsey: Don't worry about accidents — The Family will protect each and every guest.
Is anyone worth my attention in the dream?
- Woolsey: Oh, this is a good question. There's no one more in the know than us Bloodhounds.
- Woolsey: In truth, there are a bunch of quite... special people in the Dreamscape. They are also our observation targets.
- Woolsey: If you've come across such people, you probably know what I'm talking about.
- Woolsey: But, I've been suffering a shortage of Aideen Tokens recently, so... *ahem* you know what to do.
- Woolsey: Now then, who do you want to know about?
The one who can't get angry.
- (After repairing the Emo Dials of all NPCs missing "Angry" Gears)
- Woolsey: There's no one like that anymore. For some reason, these fellows have all become somewhat... true to their nature recently.
- Woolsey: But I don't think it's a bad thing. Even in dreams, everyone still has the freedom to remain angry.
The one who can't be happy.
- (After repairing the Emo Dials of all NPCs missing "Happy" Gears)
- Woolsey: There's no one like that anymore. Even the most worrisome person would unwittingly smile at the thought of the dream's prosperity and beauty.
- Woolsey: Penacony is now a truly beautiful dream.
The one who can't cry.
- (After repairing the Emo Dials of all NPCs missing "Sad" Gears)
- Woolsey: There's no one like that anymore. Everyone cries when they wish, and laughs when they want.
- Woolsey: I don't know what's going on, but I think it's a good thing. How does that saying go again? "If you're not free to cry, then there's no point in laughing."
The one who can't calm down.
- (After repairing the Emo Dials of all NPCs missing "Calm" Gears)
- Woolsey: There's no one like that anymore. Everyone can manage their emotions every well now and isn't in a constant state of hysteria.
- Woolsey: I must admit that it's been much more peaceful once some people stopped their antics.
I have some questions for you...

- (If Woolsey's Emotion is set to Angry)
- Woolsey: The head should really have those guys get acquainted with the Bloodhounds!
Is anyone worth my attention in the dream?
That's all.
- (If Woolsey's Emotion is set to Happy)
- Woolsey: Hahaha! This world would've been a goner without the Bloodhounds!
Is anyone worth my attention in the dream?
That's all.
- (If Woolsey's Emotion is set to Sad)
- Woolsey: *sigh* What can we do about The Family's future...
Is anyone worth my attention in the dream?
That's all.
Clockwork[]
Activate Clockwork
- Calm
- In an instant, Woolsey returns to his aloof expression. It's not hard to see that the exaggerated outburst has made him feel extremely awkward.
- Angry
- Woolsey: Bah! I get irate just at the thought of those short-sighted dream-chasing fools on the shopping street.
- Woolsey: Some Bloodhound members may look pretty fierce, but people don't have to flee at the sight of us... It's not like we eat children!
- Woolsey: If we weren't around to protect Penacony's Dreamscape, this realm would plunge into chaos. Where would they have the idyllic moods to sing the night away!?
- Woolsey: I'd tolerate these buffoons if they were ingrates, but those disapproving faces they make... It's like we owed them money in a past life.
- (First time only)
-
- Woolsey: Hah, those two-faced fools! I'll never give them any money... I'd much rather give them to you.
- (Obtain
Credit ×1000)
- Happy
- Woolsey: Oh... Oh oh oh! I don't know why, but I suddenly feel much better — like I just joined a bar brawl, and I'm the last one standing! Hahaha!
- Woolsey: Not just that! Just the thought of me being one of The Family makes my heart burst with overflowing pride, like one of those money guns that are everywhere in the city!
- Woolsey: Oh, we're the Bloodhounds — the expositors of conspiracies, protectors of Penacony! Be it in dreams or reality, all dangers dissipate like smoke before us!
- Woolsey: Come, chant with me: The world would be a goner without the Bloodhounds!
- Sad
- Woolsey: The caliber of The Family's members is really going down the drain with each generation...
- Woolsey: My younger brother will have his coming-of-age rites this year. I asked him what his favorite activity was, and he actually said embroidery... What a complete waste of the trouble I went through — I even gave him the entire Cosmic Fistfighter Championship collection that was worth a fortune.
- Woolsey: Just look at that puny body of his — how could he resemble anything close to a Bloodhound? If The Family old-timers were to see him, they'd laugh themselves to their graves.
- Woolsey: And all I did was reprimand him lightly, and then he just sighed and started bawling...
- Woolsey: *sigh* So vexing. I'm just trying to be a good older brother to him, why can't he understand...
- Woolsey: And now I look like a joke for being worries in the first place? *sigh*
