The Whitewolf Pack is one of the six major borisin packs. Unlike other borisin packs, it is led by foxians.

Overview[]

The Whitewolf Pack is one of the six major borisin packs that remained or were formed after the Third Abundance War, which severely weakened the borisin political landscape.

After the Warhead Hoolay was captured, it resulted in extreme internal strife among the borisin. The foxian slaves of the Whitewolf Pack revolted against their captors, with one of them, called the Whitewolf Khan, slew their master and led the slaves to form a formidable force occupying the planet. The borisin attempted to quash the revolt but were unsuccessful in doing so, and it is implied that they became accepted for their strength, though most of the borisin fear them due to their savage and merciless actions.[1]

Unlike the other borisin packs, which are led purely by borisin, the Whitewolf pack is led by foxians. The foxians of the pack are much more atrocious than the borisin, relying on performative zealotry to ensure that they would never be enslaved again. A common and frequently used tactic by the Whitewolf Pack is herding foxians to serve as the vanguard and cannon fodder at the front lines, meant to rile up the emotions of the enemy frontline, as most foxians have an intense hatred of borisin. Other foxians in the pack specialize in deception, such as disguise, infiltration and assassination. These foxians see the Xianzhou Alliance as enemies and cause significant trouble to the Xianzhou Yaoqing due to them looking the same as Xianzhou foxians, which caused the Yaoqing to issue a decree that all foxian soldiers are to undergo psychological screening and submit a timely report to the Ministry Affairs Office.

Due to their atrocious acts, the authors of the Yaoqing Recruit Handbook: Borisin Pack Overview state that soldiers should not accept offers of surrender and spare no quarter to members of the Whitewolf Pack. Likewise, they stress that they should avoid being taken prisoner by the pack at all costs, believing death is a better mercy.[2]

Trivia[]

  • The Whitewolf Pack usually disguise themselves as Xianzhou foxians in battle, yelling out "don't attack, I'm one of you."[2] This is possibly a reference to Asian American United States Marine Corps officer Kurt Chew-Een Lee, who claimed he had yelled out "don't shoot, I'm Chinese" in Mandarin Chinese and successfully deceived and killed multiple PVA soldiers in an interview. However, his Mandarin Chinese has a Cantonese accent, and his self-proclaimed achievements do not match existing battle reports of both the United States and China, leading many to believe this did not actually occur.
