- Toskani: You know better than I do as to what happened. The Iris Family is now auditioning for another Chordmaster... and despite them all thinking Miss Robin is ready to make a return to the stage, I beg to differ.
- Toskani: The only one who can mount the stage at the Charmony Festival is me — the Great One has visited me in my dreams more than once to tell me that sooner or later I am going to be a Chordmaster beloved by the masses...
- Toskani: ...And now it's time — I won't have to moonlight in secret anymore at the piano shop. After this, I'm going to climb to the pinnacle of success!
- Can you tell me about the Charmony Festival?
- Toskani: The Charmony Festival? You can just think of it as a kind of "prayer" ceremony for us.
- Toskani: The Family holds similar ceremonies of differing sizes every now and then across the various branches spread throughout the Cosmos. As far as I know, Penacony's Charmony Festival is the most prestigious of The Family's, and so it's only staged once every Amber Era.
- Toskani: During the Charmony Festival, we pray for a common dream and for a common vision. Brought together under the same ideals, the "Harmony of Praise" will arrive, answering our prayers and granting supreme bliss...
- Toskani: ..Of course, that's just how it usually happens. If it's Aelenev, the Eternal Centurion, who answers the call, then someone is going to get punished.
- Toskani: He only shows up for The Family's wars, uniting them into a cohesive force — and everyone he destroys ends up getting assimilated, becoming one of us. In many ways, it's a good thing, haha.
- What's the deal with your little imaginary family members, then?
- Toskani: Imaginary family? That's offensive to Blite, Storsen, and Lorraine, who all volunteered to give up their bodies — they're all indispensable family members of the Toskani Orchestra!
- They volunteered to give up their own bodies?
- Toskani: Hey, don't look so distraught. It's not as bad as you think.
- Toskani: "Voluntary body abandonment" is a special privilege that scale degree VII Family members can only dream of. When they first enter The Family, they can sense the emotions and hear the vague guidance of other Family members, but it's all just superficial.
- Toskani: Only after the first scale degree VII do we get the chance to merge with the other Family voices... and not just anyone gets to merge — only those selected Family members are able to enjoy this privilege.
- Toskani: So then, do you get it? What I mean is... despite every note being created with equal importance by the Great One, in actual fact some notes are more important than others... I'm saying, some of them are more Harmonious, haha.
- Toskani Orchestra?
- Toskani: That's right. I'm Toskani — and I'm the conductor of this orchestra.
- Toskani: We have 72 members in our orchestra, including me. Blite sits as our first violin, Storsen is our first oboe, and Lorraine is our harpist.
- Toskani: We are basically Family members of scale degree VI who can communicate with each other using "resonance" to transfer information and understand clearly the calls of The Family voices. And to show better solidarity with one another... we decided to unite as one.
