The Xianzhou Cangcheng (Chinese: 苍城) was one of the nine Flagships owned by the fleet that would become the Xianzhou Alliance. According to Jingliu, the Cangcheng was once the most bustling of Xianzhou ships.[1] It was destroyed by the living planet Rahu in Year 6300 Star Calendar.[2]

Culture[]

The Cangcheng Plum Blossom, which belongs to the genus Prunus and the family Rosaceae, was a native species of the Xianzhou Cangcheng. It became extinct following the destruction of the Cangcheng. Now, it has an appearance of a plant that gives out a bluish glow as its image is used as a model for virtual bonsai dendronette.[3]

Stone Calf Cimicifugae Infusion is a remedy from the Cangcheng's Collection of Prescriptions, aimed at soothing excessive teeth growth in Xianzhou natives and can effectively cure obstructed teeth growth for approximately twenty years.[4]

History[]

At the end of the year of 2609 Star Calendar, the Xianzhou Cangcheng, along with the Yuque, Yuanqiao, and Xuling, all introduced their own Yellowjacket Census and Almanacs, advising of all death revitalizations on Xianzhou for that year.[5]

The Cangcheng participated in the war against Muldrasil during the Era of Bloodshed. It was the second-furthest ship from Muldrasil in the battle formation.[2]

Between the Year 3400 to 4000 Star Calendar during the Crisis of Belief, followers of Qlipoth erected the Amber Palace on the Cangcheng.[6]

In 6300 Star Calendar, the Xianzhou Cangcheng was attacked by the planet Rahu, Devourer of Worlds.[2] Xueyi came face-to-face with Shuhu in this event.[7][8] Though reinforcements from other Xianzhou ships were present, including General Teng Xiao of the Luofu and foxian pilots from the Yaoqing,[7] the Cangcheng was ultimately devoured by Rahu and destroyed.

Legacy[]

Jingliu, one of the few survivors of the Cangcheng,[9] migrated to the Luofu and later became its Sword Champion. She was the master of General Jing Yuan and taught swordsmanship to him. She founded the legendary High-Cloud Quintet, and was a renowned hero amongst the Xianzhou before her descent into mara.[10]

Xueyi and her sister Hanya, another witness of the Cangcheng's destruction, were later stricken with mara and both committed a great offense. The Ten-Lords Commission took pity on them and granted them a second chance: Hanya drank the wine of oblivion and became a judge of interrogation, while Xueyi was given a puppet body to detain criminals.[11]
