Simulated Universe: Unknowable Domain
Herta and the others have added another extrapolation branch to the expansion module in the form of an unknowable domain. Scholars, geniuses, and Rupert II's legacy will draw all into a maelstrom...

Summary[]
Herta, Ruan Mei, Screwllum, Stephen and a 5th collaborator joined forces to simulate the historical event of the Scholars' Strife which took place right after The Second Emperor's War. They will be introducing a new gameplay mechanic focused around Specters and Components.
Gameplay Goal[]
- Gather data on the Scepter and learn more about the Scholars' Strife.
Gameplay Content[]
- Scepters: Scepters will provide unique combat effects if certain conditions are met in combat. 1 Scepter will be acquired at the start of the run and more can be obtained through bosses, occurrences and stores. A maximum of 3 Scepters can be equipped at the same time. The rarity of a Scepter can be raised by either obtaining a higher-rarity copy of the same name, or by using the Scepter Modification function.
- Components: Each Scepter will have a certain amount of component slots where Components can be equipped, and higher-ranking scepters have more Component insertion slots. Components will provide buffs for the Scepters, and once the player as collected three Components of the same name, they undergo Synthesis, which will result in a higher-rarity version of the Component. There are 2 types of Components:
- Supplementary Componentes: Supplementary Components will provide additional combat effects after the equipped Scepter is activated.
- Passive Components: Passive Components can increase the Scepters activation frequency and enhance the effects of it.
- Decision Components: Decision Components are special Passive Components that can be acquired after defeating bosses. These provide powerful effects for Scepters and may cause them to synergize with other Scepters. Only 1 Decision Component can be equipped on each Scepter.
- The combat buffs will revolve around the gameplay style of the characters such as DoT, Break Damage, Follow-Up Attacks, and Ultimates.
