UI Trailblaze Mission Step Description

According to Castorice and Cipher, the Chrysos Heirs appeared on the Astral Express after the great battle. Perhaps this is the last chance to say goodbye before the epic tale comes to an end. Take some time to chat with your companions, for this might be their only opportunity to ever board the Astral Express.
{Talk to Castorice, optional)
Castorice: (Mister/Miss) (Trailblazer), I'm truly sorry for sneaking into your bath without permission...
Castorice: But I've been wondering... Why is there a pack of red chili oil sitting by the bath?
Icon Dialogue Arrow That's bath salt.
Icon Dialogue Arrow I love eating instant noodles while taking a bath.
Castorice: That's... quite bizarre, to say the least. Please make sure Lady Aglaea doesn't find out. She's a firm defender of traditional bathing, you know.
Castorice: ...
Castorice: We've walked around this car for a bit already. The Astral Express that you've mentioned so many times is truly heartwarming, like one big family that never splits up.
Castorice: Perhaps living in such an environment made your embrace feel so warm.
(Talk to Cipher, optional)
Cipher: I gotta say, Gray Mystery, you've got quite the collection of treasures in this fancy bedroom of yours. A Flying Amphora model I've never seen before, a head that looks just like a Titan's, and those weird Mr. Pocket Watch figurines...
Icon Dialogue Arrow Take whatever you like.
Cipher: Haha, what if I don't make a choice and take them all?
Icon Dialogue Arrow You're not trying to get handsy, are you?
Cipher: What do you think? You know what they say in Dolos: "No matter where you are, never stop chasing money..."
Cipher: Oh my, don't tell me you actually believed that? Don't worry, Dolosians are the most well-mannered folks around. They'd never do anything like that!
Cipher: Besides, the reason I say they're precious is that each one carries the footprints of your "trailblazing" journey.
Cipher: Priceless treasures are the true art of thievery! When you get the chance, tell me more about your adventures.

(Head to the Party Car)
Trianne: Wow! What a spacious car, and these floor tiles are gorgeous!
Tribbie: Trianne, don't run around in other people's homes!

Hyacine: Watch your step, teachers.
Hyacine: Ah, Grayie!

Hyacine: Look who's finally awake~
Hyacine: I hope Cassie and Miss Cipher's little prank didn't scare you too much?
Icon Dialogue Arrow I saw through it right away.
Hyacine: Hehe... as expected of you!
Icon Dialogue Arrow So you knew all along, huh.
Hyacine: Hehe... They were so enthusiastic. I didn't have the heart to stop them.
Hyacine: When we woke up, the entire Express was completely empty, not a single soul in sight...
Hyacine: Such a shame. I was looking forward to making new friends, especially since they were Grayie's most trusted travel companions.
Icon Dialogue ArrowI'm worried about them...
Icon Dialogue Arrow How did I make it back...?
Hyacine: Did you also wake up from total chaos? I'm afraid none of us here has the answer to that question...
Icon Dialogue Arrow I'm a bit worried about the Crew...
Hyacine: Don't worry. We beat Irontomb together, right?
Hyacine: They must be on their way home. When they arrive, we can throw a party together...
Hyacine: That's exactly the kind of thing Lord Phainon has been dreaming about.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Phainon... he's here too?
Hyacine: He was just here chatting with everyone. Now... who knows where he's run off to?
Hyacine: Lord Phainon's always been... quite the restless one, but you're used to that by now, right?
Aglaea: ...Have another drink, Mydeimos.
Mydei: Sure.
Hyacine: Those three have been chatting over there for quite a while now.
Hyacine: Why don't you go say hi to them, Grayie?

(Talk to Hyacine again, optional)
Hyacine: Those three have been chatting over there for quite a while now.
Hyacine: Why don't you go say hi to them, Grayie?

(Approach the trio)
Aglaea: A moderate system, similar to the Demigod Council, is the only guarantee of a long-lasting civilization. In my view, most civilizations across the cosmos will eventually evolve into this form.
Cerydra: I beg to differ. In such a vast jungle, the dictatorship system exhibited by early Okhema is the only example of guaranteed survival.
Mydei: The system might not be the key. Force and resources are the decisive factors.
(Talk to Mydei & Cerydra & Aglaea)
Cerydra: Heh, look who's here. If it isn't the master of the Astral Express.
Aglaea: It's good to see you, (Trailblazer).
Mydei: Glad to see you're safe and sound. I helped myself to some equipment and drinks from this... "bar" of yours. Hope you don't mind.
Icon Dialogue Arrow What are you talking about?
Aglaea: We're chatting about some... topics that go well with "being tipsy."
Icon Dialogue Arrow Shush!
Cerydra: Daring to tell the Imperator to "shush"? Hmph. If this were Okhema, your head would've already parted ways from your body.
Aglaea: The drinks on this Express are quite... unique, perfect for discussing topics "befitting our tipsy state."
Aglaea: Now that (Trailblazer) is here, why don't we let someone who's truly worldly enlighten us?
Mydei: Heh, looks like you came at just the right time.
Cerydra: I do not mind.
Aglaea: (Trailblazer), what form of government have most civilizations across this vast cosmos survived with to this day?
Icon Dialogue Arrow I'm not old enough to enjoy talking about this kind of stuff.
Icon Dialogue Arrow I'm not well-read enough to understand all this stuff.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Whatever. It'll all end up under my control anyway.
Mydei: Hah... that's exactly the kind of answer I'd expect from you.
Cerydra: I bestow upon the Astral Express this supreme mission: You must spread the great deeds of Amphoreus to every corner of the cosmos.
Cerydra: Thus, capable individuals from countless worlds will surely find inspiration in the Flame-Chase's tales and embark on their own grand journeys.
Aglaea: Heh... It's hard to say if that'd be a blessing or a curse for the cosmos.
Aglaea: I can imagine our conversations here will only get more... unrestrained. Don't let our rare moments of joy hold you back, (Trailblazer).
Cerydra: Hmph. This banquet on the Express truly lacks manners... You may leave. I permit it.
Mydei: That man just left. Wouldn't even stay for another drink. Hah, he needs to show more respect.
Mydei: If you're looking for him, try your luck in the car above.

(Talk to Mydei & Cerydra & Aglaea again, optional)
Mydei: Speaking of origins, Kremnos was the first Amphorean city-state to establish the Council of Elders system, but we stopped iterating on it around the year 3000 of the Light Calendar.
Mydei: As for the reason, a system is but a blade. As long as the one who wields the sword is valiant enough, even a dull blade can sweep through thousands.
Cerydra: Heh... Don't forget that the Flame-Chase Army under the Imperator's command actually managed to subdue the Kremnoans during the Chrysos War.
Mydei: I'd say that wasn't a victory of the system, but rather a triumph of the Flame-Chase Army's might and the Imperator's cunning strategies. Wouldn't you agree?
Cerydra: Interesting... Trying to sway my position with flattery, are you?
Mydei: ...This is not flattery.
Aglaea: See, (Trailblazer)? This is what happens when you put the Empress of Law and the Crown Prince of Strife in the same room.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Law and Strife are indeed two sides of the same coin...
Icon Dialogue Arrow No wonder Phainon left the conversation.
Aglaea: Go meet the others. I'll keep an eye on these two Chrysos Heirs and make sure their discussion stays at a "pleasantly tipsy" level.

(Talk to Tribbie & Trianne)
Tribbie: I finally caught you, Trianne. Running so fast in someone else's home... how rude of you.
Trianne: Hehe... All according to plan! Trianne lured you here on purpose!
Trianne: Look, there are several adorable outfits here! Trianne wants you to try them on so Trianne can draw you looking all cute!
Tribbie: Oh my, you even dare to scheme against yourself! Lucky for me, I came prepared.
Trinnon: Time for a surprise attack. The Hero of Justice, Trinnon.
Trinnon: Trinnon has been lying in wait here for a while. We will make Trianne... taste her own medicine.
Trianne: T—Two against one? That's not fair!
Trianne: Little Gray, you came just in time! Help me out here!

Icon Dialogue Arrow ...Well then, there's only one answer.
(Trailblazer): ...Trianne, good luck.
Trianne: Even Little Gray's saying that... Darn it. Trianne won't give in!
Trinnon: Ah, Trianne ran away... Trinnon will fulfill the ambush duty.
Tribbie: The Tribioses all laughing and playing around together... That must be quite a rare sight in Little Gray's memories, huh?
Icon Dialogue Arrow But now, everyone will be alright.
Tribbie: Yeah, everyone will be alright. Look, every hero has put down their burden and returned to their innocent, childlike selves.
Tribbie: After all, just thinking about how warm and bright Little Gray's tomorrow will be fills us with genuine joy and lets us breathe a sigh of relief.
Tribbie: So today, why don't you let Tribbie enjoy some rare moments of childhood too?
Tribbie: Wait up! Trianne, don't you dare run away!

Hysilens: As expected of a professor from the Grove... To be so certain even about things you've never seen with your own eyes.

Cyrene's choice after the fall of Irontomb[]

UI Trailblaze Mission Step Description

Irontomb has been defeated, but the story of Amphoreus, The Eternal Land, is not yet over. Or rather, how it should end depends on Cyrene's choice...
Moments after the fall of Irontomb...
Cyrene: Memories swallowed by Irontomb, return now to reality.
Cyrene: And don't lose your way ♪
Herta: I've finally found you, Cyrene... Demiurge.

Cyrene: We won the battle. Thank you, Madam Herta. Without you, we never would've stood a chance.
Cyrene: Still, is something weighing on you?
Herta: Right before I shut my eyes, inside the Droidhead's brain, I saw... something unsettling.
Herta: The Fourth Instant, this turning point in cosmic destiny, anchored by the Erudition... It's not a single instant, but a process, a chain of events.
Cyrene: So, this victory isn't the final piece of that chain?
Herta: Far from it. This is only the beginning...
Herta: The first toll of the death knell for the cosmos.
Cyrene: That sorrowful look doesn't suit you, Madam Herta... Don't hold it in. Tell me.
Herta: ...
Herta: Not long ago, you crossed paths with the Aeon of RemembranceFuli again, didn't you?
Cyrene: Yes. Even if the figure was hazy, I knew right away: That was the god from "Cyrene's" dreams.
Herta: "Causality" has gone wrong... just as I thought.
Cyrene: Causality?
Herta: Let me put it in your favorite fairy-tale terms. The universe began as a seed. It grew into a great tree, and the "present" is its branches and leaves.
Herta: The Erudition calculates how the "future" will sprout. With so many possible outcomes, THEY choose to "anchor" one path, cutting away the crooked or fragile branches.
Herta: But if things continue that way, the branches grow endlessly, the leaves multiply, and one day the tree collapses under its own weight.
Herta: That is why there is a concept in biology called "lignification." Soft sprigs form a hardened shell and fuse with the trunk.
Herta: For the universe, that process is what we call "memory."
Herta: Under Fuli's record-keeping, the "past" becomes "memory." In the corners THEY forget, even the events of the "present" become fruit without roots.
Cyrene: So it is the opposite of the Erudition... One calculates what is to come, and the other holds on to what came before.
Herta: We were never meant to have to speak of this. But now I finally understand what that chaotic matter around Amphoreus truly is...
Herta: It is your "memory." Your mind now stretches across the stars, allowing you to travel farther down this Path than anyone else.
Cyrene: My... "memory"?
Herta: Yes. You live in the "now," but your "memory" remains in the past.
Herta: Just like the Aeon of Remembrance, a being made entirely of memories.
Cyrene: What... does that mean?
Cyrene: Did THEY fall?
Herta: No. Quite the opposite. THEY have not yet been born.
Herta: Remember? To carry out the mission of "remembering" the universe, THEY must ascend to divinity only at the very end of time.
Herta: And at that moment of ascension, THEIR "memory" stretches through the past, becoming what people now call "Fuli."
Cyrene: Ah...
Herta: That is why THEY feel so distant, so cold. That crystalline form is just an empty shell. I do not know how the Garden of Recollection managed to hide this until now. They must have their reasons. But none of that matters now.
Herta: Here in the present, we cannot know who will become Fuli, but one thing is certain: THEY will be born.
Herta: And those who might become Fuli all share the same characteristics...
Herta: They are known as children of Remembrance. Pure Children of Anāsrava.
Trailblaze Mission Memokeeper, Backtrack the Destiny's Current
Memokeeper's Embodiment: Both of you... children of Remembrance...
March 7th?: So, help us. Find where Amphoreus's "memory" began... and bring it out.
Terrified Memosnatcher: "We. Are the sacrifice. The Garden. Used us. The 'Pure Child of Anāsrava.' Abandoned us."
Cyrene: So that name... it was never my "past"...
Cyrene: It was my "future."
Herta: Or maybe, it is the "present."
Cyrene: ...
Herta: Nous... has revealed to me two paths.
Herta: And on both paths, I see you standing.
Herta: The first: Follow the trail of "memory" you have forged, break free from this world, and reach for the stars.
Herta: That would mean Amphoreus's causality will no longer concern you, at least not the person you are now.
Cyrene: ...
Cyrene: Go on.
Herta: The second...
Herta: You come to a stop and "fade," offering yourself... to become the "memory" that carries through Amphoreus.
Herta: Perhaps this is the choice every Pure Child of Anāsrava must face.
Cyrene: That choice means I'll remain in the "past" forever.
Herta: And more than that, it means you will close off Amphoreus's causality. This world is sealed. The effect that the Remembrance brings to it will all converge on one thing. That one thing is "you."
Herta: No more Aeons will interfere with this part of history. No more "blank spaces" in causality. The "present" will be set in stone and become indestructible.
Herta: There are two paths, and only one leads to the right end. And Droidhead didn't tell me the answer.
Herta: But I can guess what might happen if you choose wrong. With "causality incomplete," there is a chance Irontomb could rise again.
Cyrene: ...
Cyrene: So even the gods of the cosmos are unreasonable.
Herta: If you want my advice, stop thinking so much. Ask yourself what your heart truly wants.
Herta: Choose the first path, and you might survive as a memosprite. You may even walk beside themthe Astral Express for a while.
Herta: Even I can tell how much they mean to you, especially (Trailblazer).
Herta: But if you take the second one...
Herta: Then you may have already lost the chance to say goodbye.

Cyrene: ...
Cyrene: I have made my decision, Madam Herta.
Herta: I thought you would need time to think it through.
Cyrene: The answer is clear, is it not? Still, I do need a little time...
Cyrene: To quiet the sorrow in my heart.
Cyrene: (His/Her) kindness is always just right for the moment. I believe... (he/she) will forgive me?
Herta: ...
Herta: I will say no more. I would rather not break the mood.
Herta: But may I ask you one last thing?
Cyrene: Of course.
Herta: Why?
Cyrene: ...
Cyrene: I once heard a saying that went something like this: Divinity is "flawless humanity," and humanity is "flawed divinity"...
Cyrene: We children of Amphoreus gave up on gods long ago. Those beings who love to play pranks on the universe...
Cyrene: I believe in (him/her) much more than I believe in THEM. And I believe in who I am, as a "human."
Herta: ...
Herta: That really is... a comforting answer.
Cyrene: As for the one wish I still have trouble letting go of...
Cyrene: One will remain in the past...
Cyrene: One will walk toward the future.
Cyrene: I believe that the one I cared for most...
Cyrene: Will witness on behalf of the Ripples of Past Reverie...
Cyrene: Every starlit tomorrow ♪

Cyrene: Moving backwards through "remembrance"... What a curious feeling.
Cyrene: Is this the moment Irontomb declares victory and casts the Destruction upon the stars?
Cyrene: So back then, in the Path Space, it was "I" who found "me." The god's whispers were nothing more than a girl talking to herself.
Cyrene: Now that I remember, what I heard back then was...
you/i were/weren't once progeny of deities cast/fallen to the mortal realm for blessings/sins the verses written/erased by your/my hands were/shall be your/my remembrance/oblivion in the eden of blessed insight.
