"People often hold the belief that a document produced by a photocopier faithfully replicates its original, and they tend to trust that a story narrated by a parrot reflects truth." — Hellerdon, ██ Historian

Pure Fiction is a game mode part of Treasures Lightward in Interastral Peace Guide.

Location[]

Event Details[]

Duration[]

  • Permanently available after 2024/01/08 04:00:00 (server time)

Requirements[]

Summary[]

  • Completing the Adventure Mission "Youci's Clever Decor" will unlock Pure Fiction.
  • In the Pure Fiction game mode, Trailblazers will need to challenge different stages and accumulate points. Each stage has two nodes. Trailblazers need to assemble two teams and choose a buff for each team before attempting the challenge.
  • Whimsicality: Each Pure Fiction event has its unique rules, resulting in various battle effects. The effects only take effect in the battles during the current event.
  • Cacophony: To deal with various Whimsicalities, various buffs are provided at the beginning of each Cacophony event. You can select one of the buffs before challenging any stage in the Pure Fiction.
  • During combat, enemies will continuously appear in a limited number of Cycles. Deal damage to enemies or defeat them to earn points.
  • Each stage contains two battles, namely Node 1 and Node 2. Your final points are the total points earned in both battles, and your highest points will be updated at the end of each battle.
  • Based on the points earned in each stage, Trailblazers will receive corresponding stars for that specific stage. Earning stars for the current Pure Fiction period can earn you various rewards based on the total start count.
  • Complete the Adventure Mission "Youci's Clever Decor" and clear Pure Fiction stage 2 during any phase to unlock the character Lynx (Abundance: Quantum).

Things to Note[]

  • The difficulty and rewards of Pure Fiction stages are not affected by your Equilibrium Level.
  • Pure Fiction will have its stages and rewards updated periodically. A new period of Pure Fiction will take effect every 28 days, and every period of Pure Fiction will last 42 days.
  • The highest Pure Fiction stage that you passed with 3 stars will be recorded. Whenever a new period starts, the recorded stage and all prior stages will be immediately unlocked according to your past performance. After performing quick unlock, you can directly challenge the highest stage that you passed with 3 stars. Once you have passed that stage with 3 stars, all the previous stages will be immediately cleared with a 3-star rating, and all rewards from those stages will be delivered. No more than the first 3 stages can be immediately unlocked in this way.

Nameless Honor Missions[]

This event added additional "This Period" Nameless Honor missions to the Nameless Honor. The Nameless EXP obtained from these missions do not count towards the weekly experience limit of 8,000 The Nameless EXP.

Gameplay Notes[]

  • In Pure Fiction only, defeating an enemy regenerates 5 Energy instead.
  • The time limit of each Node is 5 Cycles in Stage 1-2 and 4 Cycles in Stage 3-4. Action Value will not reset when a new wave starts.
  • An Elite Enemy may have their default Toughness or reduced Toughness, depending on the enemy catalog.

Version 2.7 onwards Mechanics[]

Grit Mechanics[]

Version 2.7 introduced the Grit Mechanics in Pure Fiction. To activate Grit Mechanics, characters should accumulate 100 Grit Value during battle. Defeating an enemy increases Grit Value by 5.

Upon fully filling the gauge, characters will enter the Surging Grit phase that grants powerful stage buffs and significantly improves combat efficiency. Surging Grit will last for 100 Action Value. Upon exiting this phase, a portion of Grit Value will be returned based on the number of enemies defeated during the phase, with a limit of 30 Grit Value.

Waves[]

During battle, non-Boss enemies are afflicted with the Fate's Convergence mark and will continuously replenish after being defeated. Completing a wave requires defeating the target afflicted with the Blind Obligation mark.

Wave 1 consists of normal enemies only, and the progress is displayed as the health bar of Fictional Ensemble afflicted with Blind Obligation. Defeating an enemy with Fate's Convergence will cause Fictional Ensemble to receive DMG equal to 5% of Fictional Ensemble's Max HP. Therefore, completing Wave 1 requires defeating 20 enemies.

During Wave 2 and Wave 3, Boss enemies are afflicted with Blind Obligation. Defeating an enemy with Fate's Convergence will cause the Boss enemy to receive True DMG equal to 3% of the Boss' Max HP. When Boss enemies are defeated, the wave is considered complete.

  • Blind Obligation: (Unremovable) After non-Elite enemy targets are defeated, receive DMG based on a certain percentage of this unit's Max HP.
  • Fate's Convergence: (Unremovable) After being defeated, deal DMG based on a certain percentage of their Max HP to the Elite enemy target.

Scoring[]

  • The points scale with the damage taken by the target with Blind Obligation.
  • The maximum score of each Node is 40000 points.
    • Wave 1 grants 8000 points when completed.
    • Wave 2 grants 16000 points when completed.
    • Wave 3 grants 16000 points when completed.
