Dialogue[]
- Prema: Have you read the latest issue of the Paperfold Times? I imagine not. Let me read it for you...
- Prema: "As the 550th Dreamscape Collegiate Spheroid Race Qualifiers come to an end, Paperfold University finally welcomes their first ever Pepeshi lead driver in history."
- Prema: "Prema, a second-year student at Charmony Academy, proved to be unstoppable, taking a glorious victory over the weekend and securing the highest score in qualifying. She will join three other drivers to represent Charmony Academy and battle for this year's Glaux Cup."
- Prema: "Her Spheroid, The Flying Pepeshi, left all of her competitors in its dust from the moment the starting gun was fired. It is a masterpiece of craftsmanship that has inspired envy in all of her fellow drivers. It is clear that her sponsors have spared no cost in their investment towards her and her future."
- Prema: "Her smaller build compared to those of other drivers has become a concern for racing fans. We sincerely hope that Prema will not be at risk of dehydration during the 24-system hour rally ahead. We believe her best choice would be to start gaining some weight."
- Prema: What do you feel when you read this article?
- They are showing concern for you.
- They are being sarcastic about you.
- Prema: Pepeshi... Pepeshi... Pepeshi... It's all because I'm a Pepeshi... It's not because of my own hard work at all...
- Prema: Pepeshi are too physically weak to handle the intensity of a Spheroid Race... A Pepeshi was only able to become the lead driver because sponsors took an interest in the potential development of Spheroid sports in the Pepeshi market...
- Prema: Pepeshi this, Pepeshi that, Pepeshi everything!!!
- Pepeshi! Pepeshi! Pepeshi!
- But you ARE a Pepeshi...
- Prema: Humph! Let them talk! The more fuss they make and the more people take notice, the better! Then, I will prove them all wrong!
- (Continue to dialogue options below)
- (Subsequent interactions)
- (If Prema's Emotion is set to Angry)
- Prema: We Pepeshi are just... We're just a little condensed. We're not helpless!
- Can I touch the fluff ball on your head?
- Prema: ...I knew you were going to ask that! Don't think that you can just bully Pepeshi because we're small!
- Prema: What is so special about this fluff ball anyway? Is it just the fact that they grow on our heads makes you so obsessed with them?
- Prema: Pepeshi... Pepeshi... Everyone treats us so differently just because we're Pepeshi. I've had enough!
- Can we talk a little more?
- Prema: Alright, as long as you're not obsessed with the whole Pepeshi thing, too.
- What are the drivers of each academy like?
- Prema: The Spheroid racing contest is not just a contest between drivers, it is more of a comprehensive battle that tests the entire team. Each academy has their own strengths and strategies.
- Tell me about Dreamweaver Academy?
- Prema: First, you need an outstanding Spheroid. The tracks for the Glaux Cup are complex and varied, Spheroids need to be able to perform reliably on all kinds of tracks. When it comes to Spheroid construction, no one can compete with the Dreamweaver Academy bookworms.
- Tell me about Fortune Academy?
- Prema: The most important factor when it comes to taking victory... is money. Spheroid racing is the most expensive sport in Penacony. Creating a Spheroid costs money, but building a training ground and replacing supplies used in training costs even more.
- Prema: I have to say, no one manages to accumulate money like those guys at Fortune Academy... Interest from investments, attracting sponsors... They have managed to take two championships in a row with these shrewd money-making skills.
- Tell me about Charmony Academy?
- Prema: Drivers need outstanding psychological parameters and faith in their own capabilities. That's what it takes to navigate the extreme racing environment. The 24-system hour rally, weightlessness, tenfold gravity... All sorts of trials await.
- Prema: As you can see from my mentality, Charmony Academy creates outstanding drivers. This is most likely thanks to our selfless devotion to concepts such as belief and faith.
- I have nothing else to ask.
- Prema: These are the three crucial factors for victory that are all indispensable. This way, no one academy can monopolize victory. We each use our own strengths to check and balance each other, which is why we now have this current state of three-legged equilibrium.
- Which academy's going to win this Spheroid race?
- Prema: You're asking the lead driver of Charmony Academy this question? Are you serious?
- Prema: Take it back.
- I have nothing else to ask.
- Prema: If you come across that Paperfold Times editor, give me a call, and I'll be there in a jiffy!
- (If Prema's Emotion is set to Calm)
- Prema: If I really were as exceptional as they say, would I still be racing Spheroids here?
- (If Prema's Emotion is set to Happy)
- Prema: As long as I have a dream, people will look up to Pepeshi as well!
- (If Prema's Emotion is set to Sad)
- Prema: Though you sound just as insincere as everyone else, I will make good use of your false wishes.
Clockwork[]
- Activate Clockwork
- Calm
- Prema: The campus reporters just have a bias towards my Spheroid. Ever since I started to get results, they have not stopped speculating about its origins. I've heard all kinds of rumors...
- Prema: Some say that it came from an Alfalfa Family sponsor — that they saw the potential in the developing Pepeshi sporting market and gave the Intelligentsia Guild's Interastral School of Kinetics a huge stipend to design The Flying Pepeshi.
- Prema: There's another version I like even more, though: That my Spheroid is equipped with memoria as a power source. It is a secret stash of remnant memoria that was gathered by the Pepeshi. They say that the victory that the spectators witnessed was nothing more than a dream within a dream created by the combustion of memoria.
- Prema: Actually, my Spheroid is a completely normal model. It's exactly the same as the campus training model. The interior is just adjusted to suit my size better and the exterior has been painted fluorescent. That's all.
- Prema: I respect the principle of fair competition just like any of my fellow competitors: See article 521 of the competition guidelines...
- Prema: It is forbidden for personnel or businesses from outside of Paperfold University to take part in the design, modification, creation, or driving of competition vehicles. Any contestants found to be driving illegal cars will be disqualified from the current competition and banned for life!
- Angry
- Prema: The Pepeshi people are developed in morality, intelligence, physicality, and beauty! We are more than just clever.
- Prema: It's just... When it comes to physical competition against so-called standard-sized organisms, we are often at a disadvantage — when they run one step, we have to take two, sometimes three.
- Prema: After many losses, the Pepeshi lost their confidence and began to avoid taking part in physical competitions.
- Prema: But I bet you never imagined, hehe, that when it comes to racing, a smaller body means a lighter load for the vehicle, meaning greater speed!
- Prema: The only rival that can defeat us is ourselves!
- Happy
- Prema: Time really flies. This time last year I was knocked out of the qualifiers, finishing in last place. Although, that was when my fate turned around...
- Prema: Injustice is often structural, and none of the Spheroids on the market are fitted to a Pepeshi's body size. I begged my classmates to help me modify it before the competition, but no one was willing to waste their time on a Pepeshi contestant.
- Prema: With nowhere to turn, I had no choice but to drive an oversized Spheroid in the competition.
- Prema: You've seen how children drive cars in cartoons when they're too short, right? That's how I was in the contest... I had three encyclopedias under me as a cushion and a wooden stick strapped to my leg to help me step on the gas pedal.
- Prema: In the end, even an old professor who had brought his grandson along for a fun ride drove faster than me. They beat me by half a lap! It's a shame, right? I failed and only reinforced the views of those people who already looked down on Pepeshi.
- Prema: There was just one person that did not agree... That day, he watched my race and believed that it was not a disaster he was witnessing, but the rising of a star.
- Prema: Then, he had the training team convert my cockpit to suit a Pepeshi's size, and that's how we got to where we are today... He was actually the champion of the last Spheroid contest, Romeo of Fortune Academy.
- But, you're from Charmony Academy...
- He's going to betray Fortune Academy?
- ...People are actually that kind?
- Prema: Although the Spheroid Race is a matter of academic honor, we are more focused on our own dreams. On the track, the academies fight tooth and nail, but behind the scenes, we frequently share our experiences and often get together for malt juice after training.
- Prema: This time, we will battle for the honor of our respective academies... I will not lose to him!
- Sad
- Prema: Don't be fooled by the traders, talent scouts, agents, and sponsors gathering around me... None of them actually believe in my capabilities.
- Prema: They know full well how to make use of someone like me... I'm a Pepeshi. I've got a little skill and some success. I'm impulsive and slightly isolated...
- Prema: It was when I was chosen to become the Charmony Academy Spheroid driver and took part in qualifying that they came to me.
- Prema: At the beginning, it was all wonderful. They took me to the finest restaurants in the Dreamscape, laid out perfect business plans, and kept filling my head with dreams: I would be the first Pepeshi champion, an idol for all Pepeshi...
- Prema: But I knew full well that if I hadn't shocked everyone with my debut performance, they'd have abandoned me and gone straight after their next business opportunity.
- Prema: Don't get me wrong. I am happy to play along with their little performance. I'm actually grateful for them pushing me into the spotlight...
- Prema: If I can just win the championship and enter the pro leagues, if I can just win everyone's favor, then... then I can become the hope they all talk about!
- Calm
