History

A Vidyadhara elder with immense sway. Serves as the mentor to the high elders' succession and the executioner of high elders who had fallen into Dragon's Delirium.

Loading Screen: The Preceptors

The Preceptors are elders among the Vidyadhara with a certain degree of authority and political influence.[1]

The Preceptor Council may step in to rule the Vidyadhara in cases when the High Elder position is vacant or untenable.[2] Preceptors also have the ability to divest the High Elder of their title and power, should they deem it necessary.[3]

History[]

The Xianzhou Luofu[]

Yubie was the High Elder entrusted with the task of quelling the Ambrosial Arbor. To do this, he flooded the Scalegorge Waterscape delve and sealed the Arbor's roots underneath the ancient sea,[4] although it is implied that such an act was blasphemous and resulted in punishment by the Preceptors.[5] The Dragonvista Rain Hall and the statue within was created in honor of Yubie's feat.[6]

The Alchemy Commission on the Luofu has a long-standing close relationship with the Preceptors.[7]

The Xianzhou Fanghu[]

A Preceptor who opposed the Sedition of Imbibitor Lunae once advised Glaciator Marum to punish those who carried out the sedition. However, Glaciator Marum instead banished that Preceptor to the Luofu.[8]

  • Chat: The Luofu Alchemy Commission From my point of view, the fundamental problem with the Alchemy Commission is internal strife. The healers and alchemists are not earnest about curing sickness, nor are they wholly interested in academic research. Their only concern is the struggle for power. How should we attend to the Disciples who slipped through the cracks and the scheming Preceptors?
