This express car had witnessed many stories, and now it is only a guest area for the Crew to rest in.

The Passenger Cabin is a subarea aboard the Astral Express. It is not treated as its own world in Navigation, but is instead accessible from every world's area list.

There are four rooms in the passenger cabin. They are, from first to last relative to the Parlor Car door: The archives (Dan Heng's room), March 7th's room, Himeko's room, and Welt's room. Only the archives and March's rooms are currently accessible.

The Data Bank and the Bookshelf can be accessed from the archives.

After purchasing Television (Limited Edition), the Trailblazer can transform into Hanu and trigger different dialogue during investigation.

Features[]

Exploration[]

NPCs[]

There is 1 Passenger Cabin NPC:

Investigations[]

(Investigate the door to Himeko's room)
The door is locked, but there's a peculiar scent of coffee coming out of the room.
(Investigate the door to Welt's room)
The door doesn't even move an inch, as if it is glued in space.
(Investigate the chair as Hanu)
Icon Dialogue Loupe Couch
This is a cool armchair that has space only for one passenger to sit on. There's a majestic air to it, a perfect match for a cool person like you.
You study its height carefully. According to your precise calculations, you should be able to jump — well, more like climb, you suppose — onto it. In any case, you should be able to get up there... Right?
You decide to...
Icon Dialogue Arrow Jump as hard as you can!
You decide to jump onto it.
Standing on the cushions up high, you look disdainfully at the carriage down below and let out a contemptuous snort.
After a while, you start to feel bored... and a little acrophobic. You decide to...
Icon Dialogue Arrow Jump down!
Icon Dialogue Return Stand here for a little longer.
You enjoy this special scenery alone. Then, you take a deep breath and... decide to keep enjoying the view.
Let's jump down! Not knowing how high up you are is no challenge to one as intrepid as you! ...Except you can't even get a clear look at the ground below because of your sunglasses.
You awkwardly slide down the armrest of the chair.
Icon Dialogue Exit Never mind. Better not climb up there.
Something this boring is no challenge to you. You let out a cool grunt to show just how much of a big shot you are.
(Investigate the door to Himeko's room or Welt's room as Hanu)
Icon Dialogue Loupe Investigate
The door is locked. You try to open it, but it wouldn't budge, no matter how much you call out for somebody to open it.
You grunt sadly.
(Investigate the door at the end of the Passenger Cabin as Hanu)
Icon Dialogue Loupe Investigate
Bearing in mind your current identity at all time — Brother Hanu Story! Undauntable, untouchable, and unbeatable! — you attempt to explore all the uncharted territories.
However, you are too far away from the television. The signal is fading. You can vaguely see the "Exit" button in the title of Hanu's Adventure. It looks like you won't be able to move any further ahead.

Archives[]

(Upon entering the Archives as Hanu)
You stride into Dan Heng's room like a big shot on patrol.
Icon Dialogue Loupe Book in the Archives
(Randomly plays one of the following lines)
Paperback documents are placed tidily on the shelf. Like Dan Heng said, the content is very dense, and some of it is even handwritten.
Some of the words are barely legible, and illustrations faded beyond recognition. It would take many moons for one to decipher their contents.
(When investigating as Hanu)
Icon Dialogue Loupe Investigate
This is Dan Heng's bookshelf. When you aren't busy, you would add all the information obtained during your daily adventures to this bookshelf.
You look up, but all you can see is the color of the book's spine. The text is a blur to you.
Icon Dialogue Loupe Dan Heng's Bed
There is only one thin quilt, but it looks very warm. Being surrounded by all the books and records provides a surprising sense of security.
(When investigating as Hanu)
Icon Dialogue Loupe Dan Heng's Bed
Dan Heng's bed. Strictly speaking, just a bedroll on the floor.
You didn't feel this when you previously looked down. Right now, as you gaze at the shimmering waves on the floor, you feel like you're drifting on the ocean's surface, and suddenly feel dizzy.
Would Vidyadhara get seasick? You find it hard to contain your curiosity... Maybe you can ask Dan Heng later.
(Interact with the railing near Dan Heng's bed as Hanu)
Icon Dialogue Loupe Investigate
This is an interesting gap in the railing. If you look at Dan Heng's bed from this perspective, the only thing you can see is the ever-changing flowing water pattern.
Any other time, given your size, you'd never be able to squeeze in here... But never say never. You're nimble, so it might very well be possible, after all.
...Still, even if you do manage to squeeze in, your head will probably get stuck in the railing. You start to imagine how embarrassing it would be if you had to call for help, and Pom-Pom or Dan Heng had to rescue you.

March 7th's Room[]

(Upon entering March 7th's room as Hanu)
You stride into March 7th's room like a big shot on patrol.
Icon Dialogue Loupe Mirror
(Randomly plays one of the following lines)
This is a shy, full-length mirror. No matter how much you fiddle with it, it won't move.
This mirror doesn't reflect your appearance. Maybe it only wants to show March 7th's.
This is a full-length mirror with frosted glass. It may have some kind of hidden meaning.
You don't quite understand why exactly March 7th has bought this mirror.
(When investigating as Hanu)
Icon Dialogue Loupe Dressing Mirror
Unable to see yourself clearly in the full-length mirror, you feel extra disappointed.
Why? Because you saw Pom-Pom's outfit hanging by the mirror just now, and you were dying to try it out.
Icon Dialogue Loupe Photo Wall
(Plays each line in order until cycling back around)
The photos on this wall flash and blink, filled with memories of your adventures.
After staring at it for a while, you realize that the memories on this wall aren't just "your" adventures.
This is kinda creepy, man. How did you manage to shoot some of these angles?
You're pretty sure some of the pictures on this wall have been captured without a camera.
Not even March 7th is there.
What a mysterious photo wall.
Icon Dialogue Loupe Rest area
(Randomly plays one of the following lines)
This cozy rest area is in stark contrast to Dan Heng's sparse floor bed next door.
This velvet blanket is soft to the touch and feels comfortable. Sitting on it feels just as comfortable; not sure about sleeping on it, though.
There's a bunny-shaped lounge chair with a teddy bear sitting in it. A fitting metaphor for their conflicted owner.
Icon Dialogue Loupe Pom-Pom toy
(Randomly plays one of the following lines)
Conductor Pom-Pom's doll. It doesn't have any clothes.
Conductor Pom-Pom's doll. It's a bit faded.
Conductor Pom-Pom's doll. Looking at it leaves you feeling embarrassed.
Conductor Pom-Pom's doll. You have no idea where they've found it.
Conductor Pom-Pom's doll. So that's what it looks like without clothes.
Icon Dialogue Loupe March 7th's bed
(Randomly plays one of the following lines)
March 7th's bed. It's not very tidy.
March 7th's bed. There's a rabbit pillow and a bear pillow.
March 7th's bed. Several photos are casually strewn on the duvet.
March 7th's bed. Half of it is neatly made, and the other half, not.
March 7th's bed. Intuition tells you that should be comfier than Dan Heng's.
(When investigating as Hanu)
Icon Dialogue Loupe Bed
Can you climb up and have a look? Part of you itches to try, but your innate sense of ethics stops you.
Icon Dialogue Loupe Desk
(Randomly plays one of the following lines)
March 7th's desk. All kinds of gizmos are strewn about it.
The computer station on the table comes pre-installed with the IPC's "Eidor" operating system. It's a genuine copy.
The computer station on the table comes preinstalled with the IPC's "Eidor" operating system. This OS might just cost more than the whole computer system.
March 7th's desk looks neater than her bed does.
March 7th's desk. You fail to see anything that resembles a diary.

Photo Wall[]

March 7th's Photo Wall loads up to 9 random photos every time the Trailblazer enters the Passenger Cabin depending on the player's progress:
