Oleg is an NPC on Jarilo-VI, located in Boulder Town.

He can be hired as museum staff in the Everwinter City Museum Ledger of Curiosities Event, and will appear randomly in the History and Culture Museum.

Profile

Oleg is the presumed, later revealed to be acting, leader of Wildfire. He used to be a member of the Silvermane Guards before moving to the Underworld. He is Luka's master and teaches him how to fight.

Appearance

Oleg has the appearance of an old man with white hair and white beard. He appears to have a mechanical left arm.

Oleg: Good timing, I still owe you a thank you: Thanks for getting this city back on the right track, outsider.

Oleg: Before this place is completely handed over to the Silvermane Guards, Wildfire still has to oversee the Underworld's daily affairs. Feel free to speak up if you need anything.

Oleg: Hey, we meet again, (Trailblazer)!

Oleg: As long as you're in the Underworld, Wildfire will always treat you with the utmost hospitality. Never hesitate to speak your needs.

Let's talk, Oleg.

Oleg: Oh? You've really come to just chat with me? Hahaha, fire away! I like talking to young people.

What have you been up to recently?

Oleg: Helping Natasha calm any Underworld unrest, performing post-disaster rebuilding work — she's the brains of the outfit, and I'm the brawn. Not much difference from usual, but I'm much happier and relaxed.

Oleg: Also, many younger people around me have been taking this chance to leave Boulder Town to try their luck in the Overworld. I've chatted plenty with them, to give them some of life's pointers, I guess.

Oleg: You know young 'uns, it helps that they are brimming with passion. Who knows when they'll make it someday in the Overworld? At least they won't reminisce and be filled with regret.

Were you part of the Silvermane Guards?

Oleg: Yes, you've heard?

Oleg: Those were the glory days... I don't mean to brag, but in the prime of my youth, everyone knew of my repute as "Swiftstrike Oleg."

Oleg: ...No point waxing lyrical about the past though. One shouldn't be stuck in the past at my age. We should embrace the present and seize the day. Hahaha!

Wildfire's future...

Oleg: Realistically speaking, (Trailblazer), Wildfire will be disbanded eventually. Natasha and I have been aware of this since the day we established it.

Oleg: A healthy, normal Underworld doesn't need an existence like Wildfire's. Don't worry though, even if we do disband, there'll be plenty of youngsters who will carry on the will of Wildfire.

Oleg: Seele and my rowdy apprentice, they will keep fighting for their home. So long as their aspirations never change, I have nothing but high hopes for the Underworld's future. Hahaha!

Bronya is the Supreme Guardian now.

Oleg: Oh, that girl... I knew she was special the first time I laid eyes on her.

Oleg: To a certain extent, I feel like she's just like when Cocolia was younger, and trust me, that's definitely a compliment. Except that Bronya's less glum, and more sincere.

Oleg: I believe she will restore Belobog to when it was before the blockade, or perhaps even better. I mean, you all already took care of that Stellaron thing, didn't you?

Oleg: A major undertaking can't be accomplished by a single person, regardless of her individual strength. It's a good thing her sincerity has touched so many, and we're all glad to be helping her.

Oleg: Miss Bronya made a bold decision and I respect her for it, even though it was not exactly what I believed best.

Oleg: I imagine she must have found a better solution, right?

Oleg: Although it is hard to believe, resolving this situation with peaceful methods is the best-case scenario.

About the clash in the Great Mine...

Oleg: You think the mine workers will be looking for trouble with the IPC? Don't worry. We've already resolved this.

Oleg: Those people dressed in black came to visit the Underworld later and promised that they will pay for their improper actions from before. All of the miners will be receiving a considerable sum.

Oleg: Though this repayment will not be made immediately, it shows the IPC's meticulous style of handling affairs. Perhaps they will genuinely become great partners.

Oleg: As for how far this cooperation will go, we will need to see what methods are used on both sides. I hope that Miss Bronya can handle this heavy responsibility.
