They declare war on the pantheon, plunging the world into endless strife. In ballads of bards, their divine blade of retribution could level heavens and earth in a single strike.
Nikador is one of the Titans on Amphoreus. Their Coreflame is Strife.[1]
Description[]
The Coreflame of "Strife" has been returned.
Nikador is the Titan of strife and competition. According to the mythology circulated among the Chrysos Heirs, they declared war on the gods and cast the world into endless strife. However, battles also took a toll on the god of war, as the divine body became corroded by the black tide, and they fell into endless madness. As their rage and ambition were never quelled, their Titankin legion still roams the land waging war against imaginary enemies.
Nikador is a noble warrior that wears pure white sacred armor. Legend has it that the Lance of Fury that they wield can raze even the most powerful and prosperous city to the ground. Their bloodthirsty temperament has also made them a god of blood and sacrifice. Warriors gather under them and yearn to follow Nikador into war and achieve an honorable death. Their disciples built a fortress known as Castrum Kremnos that brings turmoil and fear to the world, much like their god.
There was a time when this god of war was also a symbol of protection: Using extreme violence to extinguish strife and using war to maintain the balance of Amphoreus.Profile[]
Nikador governs disputes and combat. Their divine form has been corrupted by the black tide, plunging them to madness, and it frequently leads it's Titankin Legion to wage war against imagined foes.[2] Mydeimos is the conquerer of their Coreflame.[3]
History[]
Nikdaor was worshipped by the people of Castrum Kremnos in the past. When a Black Tide began to sweep across the planet, Nikador succumbed to it, and King Eurypon decided to split Nikador's divinity into several Sword Vessels. The vessels were created by the Mountain Dweller Chartonus with the finest stones in the city-state, along with Nikador's ichor. After several experiments on Nikador's Titankin, Eurypon proceeded to split Nikador's Courage, Honor, Tenacity, Sacrifice and Reason, driving the Titan insane and having no sense of honor. After Castrum Kremnos was destroyed, Nikador began leading its legions against humanity.[4]
When the Trailblazer and Dan Heng arrived on Amphoreus, they helped its inhabitants repel an attack from Nikador's legions. It ultimately culminated with them and Phainon fighting one of its vessels, after which the forces retreated upon its defeat.[5] Later on, the Trailblazer, Phanion and Mydei went into its castle to fight its form, but because Nikador's soul was separated — namely its Reason in its madness, proved to be unkillable, and they soon discovered that it intended to attack Okhema and destroy Kephale's body.[4] This forced Mydei to remain behind to fight Nikador until a solution could be found.[6]
The Trailblazer and Castorice would later head to the past version of Kremnos during the final stages of the Chrysos Wars, where they met with a warrior named Gnaeus. After restoring Nikador's Courage, Honor, Tenacity, and Sacrifice through the Soul-Forging Ceremony, Gnaeus was revealed to be the embodiment of Nikador's ability to reason. He returned to his original form, restoring Nikador's divinity in the present, and he asked the group to grant him a death befitting of that of a warrior. Despite its many "deaths," Nikador attempted to attack Kephale, but careful planning by Aglaea and Tribbie blocked the attack. With its energy spent, Nikador dissipated away, leaving behind its Coreflame, which Phainon picked up. Castorice proceeded to speak with Nikador's remnants to see if it had seen Thanatos in order to reclaim what was stolen from her, but it did not.[4]
Forms[]
Nikador has two forms:
Savage God, Mad King, Incarnation of Strife, their divine shell.
The Giver, Master of Legions, Lance of Fury, their prime form with all five divine fragments restored.
Titankins[]
The Strife Titankins are infused with Nikador's golden ichor:
In the Chisel Zone of "Bloodbathed Battlefront" Castrum Kremnos, the automated manufacture of the Strife Titankins can be observed.
