Mr. Soda is a mentioned character in Honkai: Star Rail. He is a supporting character in the Clockie animated series, created as a co-production between SoulGlad Enterprise and Clock Studios to market SoulGlad.[1]
Mr. Soda is based on Sousa[1], the creator of the original SoulGlad recipe, with later inspiration from Aideen[2], who refined the recipe and marketed SoulGlad.

There are two conflicting characterizations of Mr. Soda. The version of Mr. Soda seen in SoulGlad ads was an incredible cook who believed deeply in Harmony and was kind, selfless, affable, and courteous, while the version created by The Watchmaker was a greedy capitalist and foolish drunkard.[1]
In the story of the Clockie cartoon, Mr. Soda was a local of Dreamville when it was still known as Nightmareville and under the control of Boss Stone. He became friends with Clockie when the Compass arrived in Nightmareville, and assisted in overthrowing Boss Stone's rule. Mr. Soda was also a friend of Brother Hanu and was the one who introduced Hanu to Clockie and the crew. When Dreamville was established, Mr. Soda began to improve his soda recipe and heavily market the drink, aiming to become richer than Boss Stone and make Dreamville prosperous with Gold Coins. At some point, Mr. Soda also became a business partner of Shopkeeper Leaf.[3]
Mr. Soda's catchphrase is *gurgle*.
