Miaodian: Anyway, because of this, the members of the Ten-Lords Commission are made up of people who live in seclusion — orphans, weirdos, prisoners, just to name a few.

Why are you working at the Ten-Lords Commission?

Miaodian: Well, I guess I volunteered. How should I put it... There's a man who has history with me. I need to find and kill him personally.

How was Fyxestroll Garden like in the past?

Miaodian: It's about... six or seven hundred years ago, I think? I was still studying then, and my house was around this area.

Miaodian: Back then, I often came to the Fyxestroll Garden for a stroll. The scenery was beautiful, the air was fresh, and it was quite all around. Do you see the Swallowsong Pavilion over there? That was where I had my first kiss.

Miaodian: Ah... Those good old times are now water under the bridge. Fyxestroll Garden has become such an eerie place now. Of the two lovers who kissed under that pavilion, one has become a warden in the Ten-Lords Commission, and the other one defected as a Denizen of Abundance.

Miaodian: Come to think of it, Fyxestroll Garden might not be as good as I remembered... Perhaps it was my own rose-tinted glasses that filtered away its eeriness.
