Margie was a cheerful kid. She was a fan of Luka who aspired to become a boxing champion. Her dream, however, did not come true as she succumbed to her illness.[2]
When Luka participated in the Luminary Wardance aboard The Xianzhou Luofu and was eliminated by Boothill, the crushing difference in their strengths severely affected Luka's confidence.[3] Tail entered Luka's inner world and saw the memory of Luka and Margie. With the help of Tail, Luka was dragged out of the depressive abyss. He believed that Margie tried her best in everything she did, and she was always putting up a fight against her sickness. In his heart, she was the greatest boxer there ever was and won in style.[1]
Eventually, Luka won the repechage and made it to the final challenge versus Yanqing. Even though Luka did not win in the end, he told himself that he tried his best just like Margie.[4]
