Lushaka is an ocean planet mentioned in Honkai: Star Rail, and the home world of The Watchmaker.[1]
Description[]
Lushaka is a planet composed entirely of water in the Przesmir System. Many aquatic races reside there.[1]
History[]
Long ago, the land-dwellers and the aqua sprites fought fiercely for survival. Both races were hunters and prey for the other in the vast waters. Their relentless war, both above and below the water's surface, persisted until the reefs shattered under scorching magma — meteors began falling from beyond the skies as if following a single-minded wish. In truth, there was a Stellaron on the planet, which responded to the curses of an aqua sprite who had lost her home. The meteors caused the sea level to rise, completely engulfing all land.[2][3]
A young boy was adopted by seafarers Mikhail and Char, and given the name Mikhail Char Legwork, nicknamed "Misha" for short. As the water levels on Lushaka began to rise, the seafarer Mikhail embarked on an expedition to to ensure that everyone had land to settle on, and continued exploring the sea to search for the source of the rising seawater. His son Misha departed the planet to board the Astral Express sometime after.[4]
As the Stellaron disaster completely changed the planet's surface, both races abandoned their hostility as they were forced to adapt. To escape the rising deepwater pressure, the aqua sprites migrated upward and now dwell in submerged cities that were formerly home to land-dwellers. The land-dwellers, also known as Luvians, reside in gigantic stateships that search for artifacts from the Old Era and any traces of land. The battles of the past have been long-forgotten, and Luvians and aqua sprites coexist peacefully, each race too preoccupied with their own survival to give the other any significant notice.[2][3]
