Lord Ravager is a title held by the Emanators of Nanook, who serve as the leaders of the Antimatter Legion's troops. There are currently seven of them.[1] They serve as major antagonists in Honkai: Star Rail.
Description[]
The Aeon of the Path of Destruction, Nanook, cast a glance at the powerful creatures sprouting destructive impulses throughout the cosmos and brands them with a mark, granting them powers. These powerful creatures are twisted from inside out and are re-cast anew in the world of the Warforge. Their inadequacies patched up with anti-matter, they ultimately became members of the Legion.
Responding to the desire to destroy everything, Lord Ravagers emerged to command each of the different legions. A Lord Ravager is an Emanator of the Aeon, an executor of the will of Destruction — Obsessed with the beauty of destruction, they implement the practice of returning all things to entropy. They are also artists on the battlefield and ultimate weapons of destruction — They command interstellar warfare, and control the might of Destruction bestowed by the Aeon. Each Lord Ravager has a unique philosophy of Destruction, making them extremely dangerous. Academics believe that Lord Ravagers were elevated as emissaries of Nanook due to this absolutely obsessive and intense destructive aesthetic.
The displacement and desolation caused by the Lord Ravagers are not some distant wail, but are closely linked to the fate of the cosmos. Any world could be the next victim, and nobody should take them lightly.Profile[]
Lord Ravagers are selected by Nanook from among the worlds they have destroyed. These beings obey the will of Nanook or even relish the path of Destruction. The list contains information on three named Lord Ravagers and four unnamed ones.[2] Each Lord Ravager represents one of the seven extremes of Destruction.
Lord Ravagers can be killed, though due to their status as Emanators such a task is extremely hard. The Galaxy Rangers were able to kill the Lord Ravager Zulo in "Operation Zulo," luring a large amount of The Swarm to his fleet and assassinated him during the battle. Nanook later had Celenova replace him.[3]
The Lord Ravagers all have their own personalities and preferences on how they destroy worlds. Nanook primarily relies on Celenova and Irontomb, the former serving as a front-line general that THEY frequently dispatch.[4] When facing a civilization with high technological capabilities, Nanook sends Irontomb to weaken them, who warps their technology into going against their owners.[2]
Phantylia prefers destroying worlds inside out, weakening them in their internal beliefs, disillusionment with supporting pillars and a lack of hope before ordering the Legion to destroy the world.[2]
Zephyro prefers destroying planets alone. He is said to be a one-man army and his appearance indicates that the planet he is on will undergo magnificent and rapid destruction.[5]
An unknown Lord Ravager, subtly nicknamed "The Chess Player", destroys planets at a much slower rate than other Lord Ravagers, strategically ordering their troops to slowly advance and overwhelm the enemy, denying them any chance of resistance. This Lord Ravager prefers to study and research civilizations that they were attacking, and is said to have the temperament of a chess grandmaster.[2]
Another Lord Ravager, known as "The Sun Devourer," is known to prey on stars, plunging worlds into complete darkness before invading planets.[2]
Another unknown Lord Ravager was capable of converting a planet into antimatter.[2]
