King Gorgo was the founder of Castrum Kremnos and the first king of the Kremnoan Dynasty.

Profile[]

Prior to the city's establishment, Gorgo was the leader of a warlike tribe during the Era Bellica. He was described to be a warrior of unparalleled valor. The tribe rallied to follow Nikador, the Titan of Strife, and traveled across many lands in pursuit of the Titan's path. Gorgo's most renowned feat was slaying the Chryseus Leo barehanded.[1]

After years of pursuing Nikador, the tribe arrived at a city devoted to Oronyx and received a prophecy: "The Blade of Fury and its pursuers shall forever hang above the earth." Gorgo and his followers decided to build a fortress to await Nikador's arrival and gain their recognition. Months later, the fortress was complete and Nikdaor passed by, but the Titan paid no heed to the tribe's shouting of their name, as they were fixated on their chase of Aquila. Gorgo grabbed the Tretos lion's head and leapt onto the fortress wall, shouting a deafening roar that was amplified by the hollow lion skull. As Nikador turned to look back, Gorgo threw the lion head with such force that it embedded itself in the wall, and led his warriors to shout praises to the Titan. Nikador finally acknowledged the tribe's resolve and bestowed upon them the Blade of Fury. To honor Nikador's gift, the tribe built a citadel around it, which would later be known as Castrum Kremnos, and Gorgo was crowned its first king.[1]
