Introduction
A member of the Stellaron Hunters. A dashing, collected, and professional beauty.
Used the enchantment of Spirit Whisper to set up (Trailblazer) to absorb the Stellaron.
Her hobby is shopping for and organizing her collection of coats.
Appearance
Kafka is described as being very beautiful and charming — a young woman with red wine-colored hair that she ties in a messy ponytail with two loose bangs hanging on either side of her face. Her eyes are of a similar, lighter color, and she wears dark pince-nez sunglasses on top of her head along with a pearl earring in her right ear.
She wears a white dress shirt that exposes the top of her back and shoulders along with a black jacket that is draped over her shoulders. There's a silver butterfly pin on its left lapel, and on the back there is a large, spider-like pattern in the center, along with webs on both shoulders and a burgundy inside. There are also wine-colored straps with golden accents on both her jacket and thighs, and gloves of a similar shade. She has large silver rings on each of her fingers, and her gloves have silver spiderwebs on the backhand.
She wears black, high waisted shorts and nylon tights, with a thigh garter on her right leg. She also wears black boots with two different lengths: the right goes over her knee, while the left goes slightly over her ankle.

She has an ability called Spirit Whisper that allows her to hypnotically manipulate others through language. Recently, she has appeared in Riverland, New Babylon. She was seen communicating with its overchief, Shilde, and absconded with him in witness of 143 people. She then made an appearance at a clothing store and stole a black jacket, two white shirts, and a red dress with 6 witnesses. After that, she was seen by 28 people at an old music record store where she purchased nothing. Before she emerged at the Riverland Guard Station to claim her rewards, she was spotted at the central park with 2695 citizens present. "...Go to Pteruges-V and locate an abandoned building at coordinates 135:7372124, 271:6372711. Enter it. There is an untouched canned drink under the window sill on the first floor. Take it. Wait until 11:12 AM on Wednesday and place the can at the entrance of the building. Kafka will appear 2 minutes later. There is a chance she will stop to investigate the can. Then, take the chance to throw this ball at her feet. I will take over and converse with her from there.
There is also a chance that Kafka will ignore the can. In that case, just throw the ball away. You will die, but death will come for everyone. As for the future that you yearn for - I will realize it."

Trivia
- Kafka is the first playable character in the game as a trial character.
- The silhouettes of Silver Wolf, Blade, and what is likely Firefly can be seen in Kafka's splash art.
- When Kafka is captured by Fu Xuan and taken into custody, her eyes and lips appear different — her lipstick is removed and her eye design changes entirely. This implies that Kafka's normal eye appearance is actually due to cosmetic contacts.[1]
- Kafka's design incorporates numerous insect and spider inspired elements. This is a reference to her namesake's most famous work, The Metamorphosis, where the protagonist wakes up transformed into a giant bug. These include:
- Kafka's jacket sleeves hang freely behind her, mimicking the six appendages of an insect.
- The buckles and clasps on her outfit are stylized to have the appearance of an insect's pincers.
- Kafka's glasses sit on her forehead above her eyes, imitating some insects and most arachnids possessing multiple rows of eyes.
- Kafka's outfit features several spiderweb designs. These include the shoulders and cuffs of her shirt, the shoulders of her jacket, and the back of her gloves.
- Kafka wears a butterfly pin on the left lapel of her jacket.
- The symbols for Kafka's Ultimate and Skill are a spider and a spiderweb respectively. The former symbol also adorns the back of her jacket and her right boot.
- When fought as a boss, Kafka's Spirit Whisper ability has strings appear from her hands, referencing a spider's webs.
- During Companion Mission Letter from a Strange Woman, it is revealed that Kafka was a Devil Hunter on her home planet before being recruited into the Stellaron Hunters.
- It is also revealed that humans from her home planet are incapable of feeling fear, which led to her to join the Stellaron Hunters in an attempt to find the value of life.
- It also becomes obvious she possesses an emotional attachment to the Trailblazer:
- Kafka was responsible for raising the Trailblazer, protecting them and teaching them various skills such as general knowledge, common sense and combat skills.
- Blade tells the Trailblazer they followed Kafka on various missions, remarking that they were the only one to follow her for so long and live to tell the tale.
- Kafka also tells the Trailblazer that Elio foresaw her and the Trailblazer changing each other's destiny.
- Kafka falls silent and becomes seemingly hurt if the Trailblazer indicates that they dislike her.
- Kafka's bounty given by the Interastral Peace Corporation is 10.899 billion credits.[2]
- Kafka's trailer features renditions of the third movement of "Summer" and the first movement of "Winter" from "The Four Seasons," four violin concertos composed by Italian Baroque violinist Antonio Vivaldi.
- Kafka's submachine guns resemble the MAC-10 and Socimi Type 821.
- Kafka shares the same Chinese voice actor, Xu Hui (徐慧), with:
- Yelan in Genshin Impact
- Kimberly Garner in Tears of Themis
Etymology
- Like the Honkai Impact 3rd and Houkai Gakuen 2 iterations of the character, Kafka is named after the Bohemian novelist, Franz Kafka.
