Immersias[Note 1] are a form of Xianzhou entertainment, bearing notable similarities to video games[1][2] due to their interactive nature, and films.[3][4] Aditionally, they are a form of Virtual Reality (VR) media, encompassing all five senses.[5]
Overview[]
Immersias are a Xianzhou Foxian art form[5] utilizing their pheromones[6] and magic,[5] alongside advanced artifex technology, to produce controllable illusions. The Foxian usage of illusions is considered ancient.[5] The vast majority of immersia directors are Foxians themselves,[3] due to their innately keen mental prowess, extraordinary meticulousness and ability, though other species occasionally take that role as well.
There are multiple companies involved with immersias, including Spooky Fantasy Entertainment,[3] Elsholtzia Fantasy Entertainment,[5][3] and Mellow-Golden-Mayor Immersia Club.[4][7][8] Additionally, outside of the classic Butterfly Immersia, Interastral Peace Entertainment has also started releasing their own form of immersia named Emphatic Immersia.[5]
The magazine Butterfly Shadow is the most authoritative publication in the Butterfly Immersia industry of the Xianzhou Alliance.[3]
The Exalting Sanctum Immersia Festival is a festival where immersia directors and screenwriters receive awards for their works.[3]

- Reighbow Arbiter[3] — an immersia set in the Three Sufferings Era, controversial due to being told from the perspective of the Reignbow Arbiter and being historically inaccurate
