Igor Haft was a legendary fighter from Belobog who lived during the invasion of the Antimatter Legion.[2]

Igor left Jarilo-VI just as it was about to be invaded by the Antimatter Legion and traveled the cosmos in search of aid, participating in various fighting competitions to get the word out of his home planet's plight. At some point, he participated in a competition at the IPC's Pier Point and reached the finals. During this tournament, Igor severed his arm and replaced it with an IPC prosthetic to make his matches more dangerous and thrilling, all in service of his goal. Despite his efforts, however, he could find no one interested in helping Jarilo-VI.[3]
Igor eventually made his way to the the Xianzhou Luofu to seek aid from the Xianzhou Alliance, partaking in the Luminary Wardance Ceremony. Despite winning numerous battles and plenty of prize money, Igor was uninterested in anything other than getting help for his home planet. Igor eventually came face to face with the Luofu's young ringmaster, Jing Yuan, during the final bout of the Wardance, having won each one of his previous fights. However, due to their own current military conflict against the Denizens of Abundance, the Xianzhou was unable to offer him any assistance, and Igor forfeited the match early to return to Belobog in defeat. Before leaving, however, Igor took a photo with Jing Yuan.[4]
Upon his return to Jarilo-VI, Igor joined the resistance against the invading Antimatter Legion. After his death, he became revered as a legendary hero.[2] Hundreds of years later, Jing Yuan, now one of the seven Arbiter-Generals of the Xianzhou Alliance, found that Jarilo-VI had long since perished in the centuries since the Wardance. However, he had an invitation to the Wardance sent to the planet anyway.[4]
Unbeknownst to anyone, Jarilo-VI had lost communications due to the Stellaron that was ravaging the planet, though its people were still alive. In 2158 AE, the planet was visited by the Astral Express, who sealed the Stellaron. Jing Yuan's invitation from centuries earlier finally arrived, though the people believed that it was a recent invite and sent Luka to participate in the Wardance. Furthermore, Lynx found Igor's grave while exploring the ancient city of Maslenitsa after the Eternal Freeze had subsided. Though there was no body, Igor's prosthetic arm, as well as the jade abacus he had kept from the Luofu, were buried there.[2]
Luka and Lynx headed to the Luofu, where the latter took the badly damaged abacus to the Divination Commission. Qingque deciphered the abacus' contents, which the Trailblazer, Luka, and Lynx saw. Luka was able to make it to the finals of the Wardance and faced the Luofu's ringmaster, Yanqing, though he ultimately lost the duel. Despite this, he became a fan favorite, even surpassing Yanqing in popularity. After seeing Luka's performance in the Wardance, Jing Yuan, who viewed Luka as Igor's descendant, helped Jarilo-VI enter a mutual trade agreement with the Xianzhou Luofu, finally fulfilling Igor's request for aid hundreds of years ago.[4]
