Houyhnhnms are a humanoid, centaur-like, ungulate subspecies. They are one of the races of the Denizens of Abundance.
Description[]
Houyhnhnms are six-limbed creatures with a muscular torso that looks like one of a horse. They have a large amount of stamina and their four hind limbs on the ground make them fast runners. Houyhnhnms are often induced by the borisin into acting as the forerunners at the frontline. They can easily block attacks, crush starskiffs and kill enemies easily by ramming into them with their thick exoskeleton armor.
Some of them wield living spears crafted by the borisin that has tentacles can pierce through the chest of enemies and devour their bodies.[1]
Some view the emergence of the Tramplers in the Antimatter Legion as signifying the erosion and enslavement of the Houyhnhnms civilization by the Antimatter Legion.[2]
History[]
The High-Cloud Quintet once destroyed the alliance between the Houyhnhnms and the wingweavers in the Abundance Axis.[3] Zaofu, a rider of the Houyhnhnm, was imprisoned in the Shackling Prison for numerous acts of invasion and war crimes, presumably by Teng Xiao.[4]
