This is a page layout guide for Characters' Messages. All messages pages should follow the standards of this guide.

Messages Infobox

image	The image of the messages sender. For group chats, use the icon of the messages Name formatting is as follows: Characters: Character character name Icon.png NPCs: NPC NPC name Icon.png For NPCs that do not have an icon use the generic image: NPC Anonymous Icon.png Group Chats: NPC Group Chat name Icon.png Most group chats use the generic image: NPC Group Icon.png
type	The type of chat. Character for playable character messages, NPC for NPC messages, and group for group messages.
sender	The name of the sender, for messages sent by characters on NPCs. Do NOT use for group messages; use the participants parameter instead.
name	The name of the group chat if it has one. Otherwise, leave this parameter empty.
signature	Provide the descriptor that is displayed under the sender's name.
participants	List characters involved in the group chat. For individual senders, leave this parameter empty

Mission-Specific

Record any messages exchanged related to or during any missions. These include Trailblaze Mission, Companion Mission, Adventure Mission, and Daily Mission. Most often, this type of messages recording will present with a mission at the end of a messages exchange with the sender.

Titles should be relatively short. Use the first few words of the first message exchanged by the sender, and add an ellipsis (...). If there are multiple instances where the sender starts with the same set of messages, then use the first unique sentence for the title, following the previous rules.

The order of mission-specific messages should be listed as the most available to a new player progressing through the game. Messages with lower requirements to unlock a Mission should be listed first. Messages that occur during a mission (e.g. Hi. This is Dan Heng.) should also follow this rule.

Daily Messages

Record daily messages here. These are messages that award the player 5 Stellar Jade upon completing the messages exchange with the sender.

Titles should be relatively short. Use the first few words of the first message exchanged by the sender, and add an ellipsis (...). If there are multiple instances where the sender starts with the same set of messages, then use the first unique sentence for the title, following the previous rules.

The order of the daily messages is not explicit, so they may be listed in whatever order the editor decides to add new messages. Please do not re-arrange the order.

Record any messages that do not fit in either of the 2 categories above here.

The order of these messages is not explicit, so they may be listed in whatever order the editor decides to add new messages. Please do not re-arrange the order.

Change History

The {{Change History}} template is used here.

Version number should always be included, and is the version that the messages for the sender chat was introduced in. Minor changes in dialogue or fixes in typos does not need to be noted.
