Mikhail Char Legwork[]
Former mechanic of the Astral Express, the legendary big shot of Penacony "the Watchmaker," and the adopted son of the legendary mariner.
He has been looking forward to adventures since young, and started a trailblazing expedition after making a name for himself in the Astral Express with his outstanding mechanical skills.
He had once worked alongside Hanunue to help Asdana regain its freedom, forged the Land of the Dreams with his own hands, opened his arms to welcome the countless Dreamchasers, and made the former prison into the Penacony of today.
Mikhail called himself "an apprentice of little promise, and an old man who lived an entirely unremarkable existence" in the notes he left for the Nameless. However, he was in fact a natural when it comes to storytelling. When Penacony faced yet another crisis, he fabricated the story of the "Watchmaker" and the "Festivities" to craftily attract visitors from all over the universe, making this planet regain its freedom — though he did not manage to see the end of the story himself.
Razalina Jane Estella[]
An ex-surveyor aboard the Astral Express, a young scholar brimming with enthusiasm who majored in memoria dynamics, and the founder of the Land of the Dreams.
She followed Tiernan and Mikhail to disembark at Penacony and spent many years since then researching and surveying on her own in Dreamflux Reef, ultimately becoming the first person to apply memoria rate measurement methodology on interstellar travelers. Her research outcomes also became the theoretical foundations upon which Penacony built its development.
However, this scholar soon perished during the War of Independence. She piloted a shuttle alone into the heart of the star system to investigate the flow of memoria, but she never returned...
Regrettably, due to the presence of Garden of Recollection, ordinary people don't pay much attention to the nature of memoria. She departed this world without much fame, leaving only a few thin journals behind. Yet a few people remain aware of her achievements, and they followed her footsteps to arrive at the places where she had once observed memoria to carry on her legacy.
Breukelen Tiernan[]
An outstanding gunslinger, the former guard of the Astral Express, and one of the established generals of Penacony during the war.
He led the people of Penacony through the cruel wars against foreign invaders, but did not live to see the day that peace truly arrived. In the decade following the War, Penacony faced challenges internal and external. To protect Penacony, Tiernan picked up the way of Trailblaze again and led the Lampmoth Family to explore beyond the system, only to be surrounded and wiped out by the Swarm. He alone was rescued by the Galaxy Rangers.
He had followed the Galaxy Rangers on their crusade against the Lord Ravager Zulo, a campaign that made the Rangers suffer a severe blow. Tiernan then spent his days on the shores of the Dead Sea guiding the spirits of the departed until he himself turned into a Sin Thirster.
