This article is about the puzzle. For the associated Mission, see Golden Scapegoat (Adventure Mission).

This statement was once inscribed upon the ancient stone: "The thirteenth returns, and remains as the first." The fated path of the lamb is a struggle between patience and wisdom. If they fail to ignite the Coreflame, then they will be swallowed by the darkness.

Golden Scapegoats are a type of puzzle found on Amphoreus.

Story[]

After completing 1 Golden Scapegoat, the player will receive a message from Evoccultic Disciple, who claims the Golden Scapegoats appeared sometime around the Era Bellica period. They invite the Trailblazer to help them uncover the mysterious of the goat masks, and this will begin the Golden Scapegoat Mission.

Use the holy flame in hand to light up the altar and bring light to this world!

Watch out! Your each and every move will be recorded by the shadows in the void. When fate's footsteps returns to zero, an enshadowed version of you will manifest as an enemy and process along the fate you have etched into being...

The enshadowed version of you is a foe that will strictly follow your previous actions and advance accordingly until the recorded steps have ended. Remember: Do not make contact with them.

The Ancient Crystalline Controllers you find on the path can alter the state of the flooring that has the same energy color. Use them to help you reach the altar.

Golden Scapegoat (II)[]

Use the ladder to move up or down. You only need to take one step for each ladder, regardless of their length.

Golden Scapegoat (III)[]

The path of destiny is not a smooth one... Should you fall, you will experience eternal damnation.

Golden Scapegoat (IV)[]

While on the road of destiny, it is a tragic thing to be tethered by the past... Do not approach the Enshadowed Version of You.

Golden Scapegoat (V)[]

Teleporters occasionally appear in the recurring destiny. Teleporters have two states: open and closed. When you enter any teleporter with the same energy color, you will be teleported to the other end, and the teleporter will close.

There are special buttons on the map. Stepping on them will reset a set of teleporters of the same energy color. The buttons will not appear while the teleporters are active.

Golden Scapegoat (VI)[]

Watch out! If you step into a teleporter when the other you is stepping on the switch, the teleporter will remain activated, and the you who entered will be lost in an endless loop of space-time turbulence...
