Dialogue[]
- (Can be talked to by interacting with Suppression Tower, Foxsomn Tomb)
- Giltun: Human, what do you seek from me? Worried you've missed out on a chance to get rich, and you are starting to regret it?
- Giltun: I'm telling you, time's running out! Chances only come to those who are prepared for it! However, if you're willing to let me out of here, then...
Just a little chit-chat...
- Giltun: Little chit-chat? My time is extremely valuable, and I only dole out my precious gold-plated advice to those youngsters with the thirst and desire to chase down wealth and personal achievements!
I am here on behalf of the Ten-Lords Commission to interrogate you...
- Giltun: Hmph, I've fallen into you people's hands and have nothing to say. But don't expect me to give you strategic advice as some kind of financial advisor!
You're a heliobus. Why are you always on about money?
- Giltun: Well, of course that's because... er, of course it's because... because I found the human love for money to be touching.
Are you a capitalistic heliobus?
- Giltun: Capitalistic... I've heard of that word before. But that's just one of those boring concepts you humans wrap around the power of money.
- Giltun: Yes, as a heliobus, I have no real capacity for spending money — but every time you humans get hold of money, the happiness that gushes out of you tastes like rich honey — so sweet!
- Giltun: I have to admit that, despite heliobi being able to create illusions at will, such powers are still slightly inferior to the miraculous human ability to exchange currency for possessions.
- Giltun: I once helped an orphan, who was sold off by his parents to a foreign land, to rise to the position of an IPC branch manager. I wanted to see how he'd use the money he had...
- Giltun: He worked his employees to the brink of death for a few years, then used his IPC bonus to buy an asteroid.
- Giltun: I thought it would be the beginning of some romantic promise, but who knew that he would make the asteroid's orbit shift by a few degrees, so it would plummet into his home world six months later...
- Giltun: I once helped a terminally-ill salesman sell off his planet's sun to cure his disease, which was absolutely incurable within the technological limitations of his own world.
- Giltun: Unfortunately, his naive daughter remonstrated him upon learning of the incident, so the weak guy ended his life with a length of rope.
- Giltun: People sell off their life, love, and loyalty for money. Then, they use that money to buy the time, happiness, and death that they could never have afforded before... I have witnessed many miraculous things throughout this process.
- Giltun: If heliobi were to try and do this, it would require vast amounts of energy, but money achieves this simply by changing hands. How could I not be obsessed with this process of something bouncing through owners like this?
- Giltun: So then, would you like to hit the jackpot with me, (young man/
young lady)?
