A garden delve created centuries ago by Foxian crafters. This place offers visitors a place to enjoy a leisurely stroll or compose lyrical poetry during a festive banquet. At present, rumors that Fyxestroll Garden has been "haunted" are spreading like wildfire.
A place located between the thresholds of Locufox Forest and Foxsomn Tomb. Within the courtyard walls lies a forest of bamboo sprouting from bewildering stones. Upon these rocks exists a place of condolence for those in grief to expel their pain.
The outside of the Pavilion of Cessation forms a corridor decked with sittable sills between the pillars. This offers people a place to rest for a moment and enjoy the coolness or hide from the rain. Additionally, they may also direct their attention toward the Pavilion of Fragrance and appreciate ongoing operatic performances.
A pavilion for banquets and composing poetry in Fyxestroll Garden. In ancient times, those of literary virtue enjoyed coming to Swallowsong Pavilion to exchange cups of libations and engage in poetic construction, naming this place to be a "sanctum of wine and lyricality."
The water-facing terrace entrance of Fyxestroll Garden. Craftsmen seized the opportunity to circulate the running waters through the confines of the park and let nature flourish in sprouts of bamboo and thickets of flora elegance, instilling the richness of rustic woodland upon the area.

Behind the screen, the heliobus continued singing its Zhuming flower-drum opera. It firmly believes the era of Zhuming flower-drum opera has not finished, and also that the emptiness of the theater will one day be filled with rapturous applause.
(Investigate tombstone with offerings, northwest of Suppression Tower, Foxsomn Tomb)
Investigate
"Wishing you an exquisite sleep just like me." Judging by the inscription, the grave occupant must be a very kind person.
Offerings beside the tombstone support your hypothesis. When this girl called A-Xin fell into an eternal sleep, her old friends and relatives never forgot about her — You just don't know what gift they prepared when they visited her.
"Try opening a mystery box!" Just as you're pondering what a Xianzhou specialty offering could be, a joking voice pipes up to tear asunder the calm night sky like a bolt of thunder.
You decide to...
Try opening a few mystery boxes!
You just open them up to take a look, never daring to touch the contents. Despite your heart being far from becalmed, you try to talk yourself out of it.
In a flash, you feel as though you have lost something extremely precious. You hastily check over your whole body: everything remains in place. Strange... what was it that you lost? And was it important?
You mean no harm and are just curious, and curiosity is a necessary quality for creatures trailblazing magnificent feats across the galaxy. You convince yourself, and a restless discomfort in your heart settles right down.
So now, it's time to open a mystery box. You reach out and open the offering's packaging. Your hand gets dirty from the dust on it, but it doesn't matter because you're wearing gloves. So your hands were dirty from the get-go.
You pick up the offerings and study them a while. Inside are exquisite foods, preserved and intact within the packaging, and of unknown expiry date. There's also some cute household items, beautiful headwear, and eye masks. It looks like the grave occupant seemed to enjoy life while it lasted...
Just as you are speculating all kinds of hot takes about the grave occupant's life, a severe castigation comes from behind.
Angry Spiritfarer: I've caught you now! The villagers have been reporting a thief stealing from the offerings here! Put down that stolen property!
I was just taking a look. I didn't steal anything.
Serious Spiritfarer: Taking without asking is stealing. No need to dispute this. Come back with us to the Ten-Lords Commission and we'll soon find out whether a crime has been committed.
(Loose lips sink ships. Better to keep quiet)
Serious Spiritfarer: You have the right to remain silent, but let this be a warning to you: At the Ten-Lords Commission, we have ways of making you talk.
Angry Spiritfarer: Hmph, I've seen lots of tight-lipped people like you before. It's fine. You'll see just how ridiculous you're being once we get to the Ten-Lords Commission.
Serious Spiritfarer: Be honest, now...
The offerings are all intact. I didn't steal anything.
Angry Spiritfarer: No excuses!
Serious Spiritfarer: Really? Talk is cheap. I'd like to conduct a careful inspection.
Somebody asked me to wipe the dust!
Serious Spiritfarer: Really? Deceiving a Xianzhou public official is a first-degree crime. Think carefully!
Serious Spiritfarer: ...
Serious Spiritfarer: These offerings indeed show signs of having been opened; however, nothing is missing. The dust on the outside of the offering packs has been wiped clean...
Angry Spiritfarer: Huh!?
Serious Spiritfarer: Ahem, looks like we were mistaken. This time we will let you go. Run along then, and stop touching the offerings.
A throbbing sensation churns through your chest, and you think long and hard about it — before ultimately choosing not to touch the offerings.
It's unethical. Forget about it.
Sudden clarity stops your reckless impulse and you subconsciously awaken. The voice just then was trying to trick you, and as a noble Trailblazer, you were able to keep your virtue intact.
You carefully read the inscription on the tombstone: "Sorry, I can't update the story anymore." This seems to be the tombstone of a novel author.
You've heard about the length of Xianzhou's novel, but you believe that this author's story will not end here. The story will continue to unfold in the hearts of readers.
The inscription of this tombstone looks different from the others. The original inscription is now indecipherable. On a closer look, you can only see the words, "my beloved wife."
A new inscription is written over the original surface, and the content is clearly visible: "She could have a better life."
Paper Kite
(Standard dialogue)
Paper Kite
On a certain planet, a father-son duo went out on a stormy day and used a kite to contain lightning in a vessel for storing static electricity. As such, they gained a remarkable reputation — but what did the kite gain?
A feathered kite is abandoned here, and mottled blood stains can be seen on the snapped string, reminding you of a sad song passed among the winged people. The song speaks of how they discard their wings in the fire after the death of their lover as a symbol of detaching from love.
A kite with a broken string and a sugar-free Startaro Bubble Tea share the same fate — they are destined to be abandoned.
An observant person would have quickly realized that it is an unspoken tradition among the Foxians to dedicate kites to fallen pilots — it is evident that flying has long been a part of their lives.
Most of the kites placed here are supposed to be dedicated to the dead, and only a few landed here due to snapped strings. Look, why else do you think those kites are on the trees?
Stele
(Standard dialogue)
Stele
The short period between birth and death in the inscription vividly shows the misfortunes of one's life.
The words carved on the tombstone are fairly visible, but the surrounding cracks reveal the poor condition it's in.
Someone who eats with you or lends you money may not be your friend, but the one who is willing to pay you a visit at your grave is certainly a true friend.
It seems like someone has been regularly maintaining this tombstone. Aside from its weathered surface, the rest of the area is clean and tidy.
Love doesn't disappear after a life is gone. It just exists in a different way, and you strongly believe in it.
(Investigate tombstone west of Foxsomn Tomb Roost)
Stele
You gaze at the tombstone, where the inscription records the life creed of the deceased: "Humility, Charity, Patience, Frugality, Diligence—"
You shift your gaze slightly and notice the last sentence on the tombstone: "—All of which I can never attain!"
Well, at least it displays the truthfulness of the deceased. It's rare to find honest people these days.
(Investigate tombstone south of Suppression Tower, Foxsomn Tomb)
Stele
You silently study the tombstone before you as you solemnly read the inscription carved on it:
"The leftmost dock of the Sky-Faring Commission gives points to customers with an annual package. Points are cleared once every decade, so remember to redeem them." You can tell that the deceased was a kind-hearted person.
Ships that mysteriously disappeared or sank many years ago are found traveling on the sea. Since no one is found on the ship, they are known as "ghost ships," or maybe, they are simply misidentified by the people.
"Flying Daiyuman" — a legendary ghost ship that can never return home. Its mission is to bring the lost spirits in the sea of stars to the underworld. It is doomed to sail the sea of stars forever, allegedly never able to make port.
What's before you is merely the projection of a starskiff, do you understand? You are neither going to meet Captain Octopushead nor the cursed creatures. And the starskiff will not suddenly leap out of the ocean.
Stage Backdoor
(Standard dialogue)
Stage Backdoor
You try to push open the backstage door, but some kind of ingrained thought extinguishes this budding idea. You remember that a person of a noble character only enters through the front door.
You want to explore backstage, but the moment you push open the door, you notice someone silently watching you from a very high place out of the corner of your eyes. Surprised, you leap back, but that slender shadow has vanished.
You originally wanted to explore the backstage further, but at this moment, you pass a History check — doors onstage shouldn't look like this. Shouldn't they be labeled "dextral entrance" and "sinistral exit"? Then what is this place...?
In the past, several traditional performers, known as "drama actors," sang and acted onstage in Fyxestroll Garden. As things change over time, the Starfire Essences are now everywhere in Fyxestroll Garden. Whenever they go on stage, they are known as "drama queens."
Stop peeping through the doorway. What if you really saw something?
Lantern
(Standard dialogue)
Lantern
With several lanterns floating in the night sky, such a starry view will certainly warm a happy person's heart.
What's hanging above the head may not be a blade. It can also be a lantern.
The shimmering light of the floating lanterns does not only shine for you; it is said that it carries the hefty responsibility of guiding wandering souls.
The lanterns silently float in the night sky, each emitting a warm and uniform glow that lights the way home for all, even though not everyone has a home to return to.
The lanterns silently float in the night sky, each emitting a warm glow, equally lighting the way home for all. In other words, you may not necessarily return to your home if you follow the lights.
Bookshelf
(Standard dialogue)
Bookshelf
A moist and eerie rotten stench from the shelves percolates the air. The varnish on the woodgrain surface has mottled, but the books remain standing on the shelves, making one wonder if they are just for decoration.
At first glance, the books are packed neatly on the shelves, and judging from the dust on the covers, no one had touched them for nearly a hundred years. Unbeknownst to the others, these are documents brought by the Ten-Lords Commission... Say, aren't they a little behind times?
That's normal. A bibliophile loves getting panicked over a fully packed annual reading list, only to forget to flip open their books at the end.
The Ten-Lords Commission collects various kinds of documents, including certain rare and valuable special printings, as well as journals published by the short-life species that have been deliberately collected.
You secretly speculate on the whereabouts of the scroll's owner, wondering if they have met with an unfortunate end. But knowledge isn't a thing that one is born or dies with. You can't help but feel relieved at the thought of it.
It seems like the Ten-Lords Commission's "paperless work policy" isn't working.
But if the Ten-Lords Commission were to go "paperless," do the people here look like they are seriously working without these presentable shelves? Certainly not. At this moment, you suddenly realize the meaning behind the existence of these shelves.
