Head to the Museum Finishing Room to find the Landau siblings[]

UI Companion Mission Mission Description

You receive a message from the Landau siblings. As expected, they contacted you because they want to ask for your help, just like everyone else. Unlike the others, however, these two deliberately set up a mystery for you — They will only tell you what they need if you head to the Museum Finishing Room as they had requested.
Is this even the right attitude when you want to ask people for help? You don't quite know, since you were only born in the Herta Space Station a short while ago — but you must have gotten used to this random way of getting missions by now.
Head to the Belobog History and Culture Museum Finishing Room and listen to their request.
(Approach marked location)
Serval: Hah, there's plenty of precious stuff in here! You aren't looking for treasure in the museum while pretending to volunteer, right?
Gepard: No, I'm not...
Serval: Oh! What's this gadget? This monitor, and this keyboard... is it an automaton remote control terminal?
Serval: See, there's a piece of paper here! It says "Penya Sergeyevna"...
Serval: Is that the owner's name? Sounds a bit familiar...
Gepard: These are all relics, sis. Please don't touch them. What if you break something?

Talk with the Landau siblings[]

UI Companion Mission Step Description

You arrive at the Museum Finishing Room as invited, and find the Landau siblings waiting for you here.
Go and listen to their request.
(Approach Serval and Gepard)
Icon Dialogue Arrow Here I am.
Serval: Oh, (Trailblazer)! We were just waiting for you.
Gepard: Long time no see, (Trailblazer). I wanted to talk about this in our chat group, but sis won't have it... I'm sorry you had to run all the way out here.
Icon Dialogue Arrow More danger afoot?
Icon Dialogue Arrow Why all the hush-hush?
Gepard: Um... That was Serval's idea. She said it needed a level of secrecy.
Gepard: I happened to be helping out at the museum, so we both ended up waiting for you here.
Serval: Actually, I want to talk to you about our little Lynx.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Lynx?
Gepard: She's our little sister, the youngest child of the Landau family.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Oh, that Lynx.
Gepard: So you know her! Well, that makes this easy.
Gepard: She just came back from a scientific exploration on the Snow Plains, but she seems really out of it... almost like she's worried about something...
Gepard: And she won't tell us what happened. We're really worried and want to help, but we don't know where to start.
Serval: The last time I saw her, she was preparing to meet someone on the Snow Plains. She even asked for a stove set from me...
Serval: But no matter how Gepard and I asked and probed, Lynx simply refused to tell us who she was gonna meet... *sigh* I'm such a failure of a sister.
Serval: So, that's why Gepard and I came up with this idea. We'd like you to help us find out what's going on!
Gepard: One more thing... don't let her discover you. Otherwise, she'll probably get upset with us.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Leave it to me!
Serval: Thank you, (Trailblazer)! We're worried about her meeting strangers...
Gepard: She's used to doing research alone in the Snow Plains, and we've always believed she can protect herself, but this is different... I'm worried she could run into bad people.
Icon Dialogue Arrow That might be difficult...
Serval: I know she's used to going into the Snow Plains alone for research, and we've always believed she can protect herself...
Gepard: But this is different. We're worried about her running into strangers... She might get herself into trouble.
Serval: Oh, right! If you're gonna go find Lynxy, you gotta know what she looks like!
Serval: Don't worry. She stands out. She's blonde like us and, um... quite short. She’s always wearing a white fur hat... If I'm right, she should be waiting for someone at the city exit closest to the Snow Plains.
Serval: We are putting our dearest baby sister in your hands this time. Let us know immediately if anything happens.
Gepard: Thank you, (Trailblazer).
(Mission Start)

Head to the Administrative District exit near the Outlying Snow Plains and find Lynx[]

UI Companion Mission Step Description

You arrive at the Museum Finishing Room as invited, and only then learn that "sense of ceremony" was just something Serval came up with on the spot.
The Landau siblings express their request to you — They hope you can protect Lynx, the youngest Landau sibling, in secret. They also insist she must not discover you during the process.
This sounds rather odd, but you have no choice except to accept at this stage. Head to the Belobog Administrative District exit close to the Outlying Snow Plains and see what is Lynx trying to do.
(Approach marked location)
(Trailblazer): (Huh? That girl over there... seems like she fits Serval's description.)
(Trailblazer): (That must be Lynx. Let's hide here and observe for now.)
Pela: Lynxy~ I'm here!
Lynx: Let's go.

Pela: Phew... I never knew how long it took to get from the Administrative District to the Snow Plains.
Pela: So much snow... Even in the northern mountains, it wasn't like this.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Did you bring enough warm clothes?
Lynx: The snow is supposed to get heavier later in the day... Have you got enough warm clothes?
Pela: Yep, I brought everything you told me to — all thanks to your camping guide.
Pela: Speaking of which, according to the guide, the first thing we need to do is find a good place to set up camp, right? Flat, dry, sheltered, facing the sun, high elevation...
Icon Dialogue Arrow We need to find a good place to set up camp first.
Lynx: The snow is supposed to get heavier later in the day... We need to find a good place to set up camp first.
Pela: Right! The guide says we should find a flat, dry, sheltered location — facing the sun at high elevation...
Lynx: ...You remembered all that? I expected no less from you! But it's gonna be hard finding a place that fits those criteria.
Lynx: Well, we'll just keep moving and see. The place has to be convenient enough for us to observe the aurora, too.
Pela: Hehe, thanks, Lynxy!
Pela: I'll leave it to you then. I'm gonna follow right behind you.

Head to the Snow Plains and find Lynx[]

UI Companion Mission Step Description

After some clandestine observation, you finally realize the "stranger" the Landau siblings are talking about is none other than everyone's friend, Miss Pela.
The other Landaus must have made a mistake, and the issue should be solved for now, but you don't particularly want these two girls to head out to the dangerous Outlying Snow Plains on their own. After all, you know better than anyone else just how many monsters are in the Snow Plains.
Help them till the end. Follow them and protect them from the shadows if needed.
(Talk to the Silvermane Guard to re-enter the challenge, optional)
Guard on Duty: Intelligence Officer Pela just left for the Snow Plains with somebody...
Guard on Duty: ...are you headed there too?
Icon Dialogue Arrow Enter the Snow Plains.
Icon Dialogue Exit Maybe later.

Find a suitable camping spot[]

UI Companion Mission Step Description

Pela and Lynx's goal for this trip was actually to observe the aurora — They need to first find a suitable camping ground before they can achieve that goal.
(While walking)
Pela: Flat, dry, sheltered, facing the sun, high elevation..
Pela: ...and we need to be able to observe the aurora... This is going to be difficult.
(Continue walking)
Pela: This slope has a good view... It'll be easy to watch the aurora.
Lynx: Nope. The wind blows strongly through here, and there are signs of direwolf activity... It'd be too dangerous to make camp.
Pela: I see... Then let's keep moving.

(Approach marked location)
Pela: Hmm... This area is sheltered and facing the sun, plus it's flat ground, but...
Lynx: But there are cliffs all around. We'll be in trouble if there's a landslide or rockfall. Also, there isn't much of a view...
Lynx: Ah! I remember a good place that's not too far from here. Follow me!
Pela: Huh? ...Okay!

Establish the camp[]

UI Companion Mission Step Description

Pela and Lynx found a suitable camping spot. Prepare the camping equipment and wait for the aurora.
Pela: We're at a dead end...
Pela: Lynxy, are you sure this is the place?
Lynx: Yep. This is the path to Kandor Valley. There are low cliffs on both sides, but I cleared all the monsters here a while ago, so it should be safe and sound.
Lynx: Also, the mountain wind during this season usually comes from the north, which is another reason why we couldn't camp on that previous slope. These two hills can block the Snow Plains gales for us.
Pela: I never even noticed! Huh, camping is a complicated science...
Lynx: ...Not really, but the environment outside of Belobog is very tough.
Lynx: If the weather here was as good as inside the city, then we could have camped anywhere.
Pela: That's true. I hope that becomes a reality one day.
Pela: Hmm, only problem is... the view here isn't great. Are you sure we'll be able to watch the aurora?
Lynx: Hehe, don't worry about that for now — let's get the tent ready then go find our dinner.
Pela: Sure! I can help out with the tent — I memorized that section in the camping guide.
Lynx: Okay, then I'll go set up the stove. If you have any questions, just ask me.

Lynx: (Huh? Why isn't the heater working...?)
Lynx: (Darn, doesn’t seem like an easy fix...)
Lynx: (Alright, I'll ask Pela...)

Ask whether Pela can fix the heater[]

UI Companion Mission Step Description

Lynx seems to have run into trouble while setting up the stove. She can only ask for Pela for help.
Pela: Weird... That's what the guide says...
Pela: Hey, Lynxy! Come and have a look at this!
Pela: I did everything according to the guide, but the tent's still wobbly...
Icon Dialogue Arrow Have a check.
Lynx: Mm, lemme have a check...

Lynx: Main poles, check. Brow poles, check. Ropes, check...
Lynx: ...Ah, it's the pegs!

Lynx: The pegs. I forgot to mention — thick snow needs leaded iron pegs.
Pela: Got it! It's definitely sturdier now... Nice job, Lynxy!
Lynx: You're too kind... My oversight.
Lynx: Uhh... I've got a question, too. Can you take a look at this stove? I think it's broken...
Pela: Huh? Sure, let me take a look.
Pela: Hmm... The Geomarrow fuel activation component probably stopped working. Do you have a spare one?
Lynx: No... Serval told me this was a brand-new stove…
Lynx: (Did I bring the wrong stove...? Does this mean we have to make a fire with Geomarrow? I specifically got this stove from Serval...)
Pela: That's okay. These components are really common. Maybe we can find a spare one in the ruins around here.
Pela: You take it easy — I'll see if I can find one. Oh, and I'll keep an eye out for food too!
Lynx: ...I'll come with you!

Collect the Geomarrow Activation Element and food 0/4[]

UI Companion Mission Step Description

Pela and Lynx have finished setting up the camp. Then they decide to gather food as well as trying to find a Geomarrow Activation Element, even though it would be incredibly rare to find one out in the Outlying Snow Plains.
Lynx: Finding food is easy, but finding that component is gonna be hard...
Pela: We'll do our best. If we can't find one. we'll just do what your guide says and chop wood to make a fire.
Lynx: Oh, actually, I have some spare chunks of Geomarrow...

(Investigate marked spot near the ruin)
Pela: There might be spare stove parts in the ruin. Lemme see...
Lynx: Don't tell me you wanna crawl in there...
Pela: Of course I do. It's not like the stuff we need is gonna come crawling out.
Lynx: In that case... be careful.

Pela: ...
Lynx: Did you find anything?
Pela: I didn't find any components, but I got this... I don't know if we can still eat it...
Lynx: Hmm...
Lynx: It hasn't decayed — it's edible!
Pela: Really?
Lynx: It's all thanks to the Eternal Freeze. We can eat raw fish from 700 years ago!
Pela: 700!?
(Obtain Ice-Fresh Raw Frostweave Salmon Slices Ice-Fresh Raw Frostweave Salmon Slices ×1)
(Approach the tree)
Lynx: Huh? What's in this tree trunk...
Pela: You found something?
Lynx: ...There's food in here!
Pela: Really?

Lynx: I'm gonna pry it open...
Lynx: There!
Pela: Uh... What exactly are—
Lynx: These are mimic snow slugs. They can change their appearance to match the external environment. They're really cute.
Pela: Yeah, but... we should put them back.
Lynx: No, no! These slugs taste really good once they've been roasted... They kinda taste like... snow mice?
Pela: That sounds even less appetizing!
(Obtain Mimic Snow Slugs Mimic Snow Slugs ×1)
(Investigate the snowdrift)
Lynx: There's something in this snow drift [sic]...
Lynx: ...Huh!? I can do the digging! You don't need to...
Pela: Come on, camping is about teamwork! Let me have a try.
Lynx: Ah... Okay.

Pela: Ah! I found something!
Pela: Is this... a radish?
Lynx: Yep, that's a snow radish. They're really sweet and tasty...
Lynx: ...
Lynx: ...Actually... no. This is a hibernating snow radish rabbit.
Pela: Huh? This is a rabbit?
Lynx: Yep. They look really similar to show radishes. Their ears look like the leaves and their body looks like the radish bit. When they hibernate, they cover themselves with dirt, just like real radishes.
Pela: I see... In that case, please tell me we can put it back?
Lynx: Yeah... It's better for the Snow Plains' ecosystem.
(Investigate the crates)
Pela: This crate looks promising. Maybe there are spare stove components inside...
Lynx: Let's open it up then.
Pela: Ah! N—No! Don't worry about it, Lynxy! I'll manage!
Lynx: ...

Pela: Uh...
Pela: ...Are these sausages?
Lynx: Sure looks like it... And they were probably placed here not long ago...
Lynx: ...Could it be the Belobog Caveman's food?
Pela: ...B—Belobog Caveman?
Lynx: It's a legendary creature. It looks like something between a man and a monkey, roughly the same size as a man, with dark blue hair. Its activities are very mysterious, and no one in Belobog can find concrete evidence of its existence...
Lynx: I've only chanced upon it a few times myself, but whenever I tried to take a photo of it, it had already run away.
Lynx: I feel like.. these sausages might constitute a great Belobogian scientific discovery! Let's bring them back with us.
Pela: Ah! Hold on... There are some letters here.
Pela: "SAM" something, "KOS" something... I can't read the rest, but it seems like a name.
Pela: Guess it can't be the Belobog Caveman then... Do cavemen even know how to write?
Lynx: *sigh* ...
Pela: D-Don't worry Lynxy! I'm sure you'll get concrete proof one day...
Pela: Let's leave the sausages here. I think someone might be missing them if we take them.

Lynx: I think we've searched through everything here... Let's head back, Pela.
Pela: *sigh* Okay... I feel bad that we didn't find a spare component.
Lynx: It's fine, we'll just light a fire with Geomarrow... Let's go back and have some food.

Return to the camp and prepare dinner[]

UI Companion Mission Step Description

Although they didn't find the Geomarrow Activation Element, Pela and Lynx manages [sic] to collect enough food for tonight. Now is the time to return to the camping ground.
(Upon walking farther away from the camp, optional)
Pela: (It's probably best to stick close to the camp...)
(While walking)
Lynx: Pela...
Pela: Hm? What's up?
Lynx: We... don't really need that stove to cook.
Pela: ...I know. But since we were looking for food, I figured we might as well try to fix the stove.
(Upon walking towards the camp)
Lynx: I think there's something in the camp... Be careful.
Pela: Is it some kind of animal?

(Approach camp)
Pela: ...Lynxy, wait. That thing in the camp is a dangerous Fragmentum creature.
Lynx: Mm, I see it too. But it doesn't seem aggressive... and it's all chubby and cute...
Pela: Don't be fooled by its appearance. About 20% of our Silvermane Guard Fragmentum losses are a result of chasing this creature.
Pela: We haven't figured out everything about it yet, but there's one thing we're sure of... they have the power to control people. We need to be careful.
Lynx: Huh? But this little buddy gave me something good last time, and it didn't hurt me...
Pela: That must be the first step in their mind control process. You were lucky.
Pela: We should defeat it just to be safe. Fragmentum creatures are Belobog's enemies — they shouldn't be trusted.
Lynx: Ah, but...
Pela: Mm?
Lynx: I didn't even get to take a photo of it last time. Now's a good chance...
Lynx: Can I at least take a picture, Pela? That's also my job as a researcher.
Pela: ...I understand, but the sound of the shutter and the camera bulb might send it into a frenzy...
Lynx: ...Ah, it noticed us.
Pela: It might be looking for an opportunity to attack. Be careful!

(Optional) Take a picture of the mysterious creature[]

UI Companion Mission Step Description

Pela and Lynx have opposing ideas over what to do with this mysterious creature - take a photo of it? Or to sniff out this dangerous element while they can? The two girls need to make a choice.
(After taking a picture)
Lynx: Finally got a picture...
Icon Dialogue Arrow It disappeared.
Pela: It disappeared... Did it run away?
Lynx: Yeah... that's the nature of these little things. They disappear in a flash when they get scared.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Maybe it's still around somewhere.
Pela: It disappeared... Lynxy, be on the lookout for an ambush.
Lynx: Don't worry, Pela... that's the nature of these little things. They disappear in a flash when they get scared.
Lynx: That's my conclusion from my long-term observations. As for those lost Guards... maybe they were chasing these little creatures and couldn't find their way back.
Pela: ...
Pela: Sorry. Maybe I was overreacting...
Lynx: Don't be sorry. It pays to be careful.
Lynx: Anyway, crisis resolved! We can now make some food...
Lynx: ...Huh? Our little buddy seems to have dropped something.

(Optional) Eliminate the mysterious creature[]

(Approach Warp Trotter)
Pela: Careful, Lynx — It's going to attack!
(Begin battle against Warp Trotter Warp Trotter)

(After the battle)
Pela: Phew... Hopefully it won't be coming back any time soon.
Lynx: It disappeared again...
Pela: It must have used some Fragmentum loophole to escape. Do you really want to take after it, Lynxy?
Lynx: No, just a bit curious. BUt these guys do disappear in a flash when they get scared.
Lynx: Anyway, crisis resolved! We can now make some food...
Lynx: ...Huh? Our little buddy seems to have dropped something.

Investigate the item left by the mysterious creature[]

UI Companion Mission Step Description

Either way, the Warp Trotter leaves the camping ground, but it seems to have left something for the two girls.
The two girls decide to move up to investigate what the mysterious creature had prepared for them.
(Investigate marked location)
Pela: Huh? This is...
Pela: Awesome! Lynxy, look! It's a Geomarrow Activation Component! I never thought we'd find one here!
Pela: What about you, Lynxy? Did you find anything good?
Lynx: ...Ah! N-Nothing! Just some old stuff...
Lynx: I-It's great we finally found the component! Let's go fix the stove!
Pela: Huh? Lynxy... is something the matter?
Lynx: ...Nope, nope, it's all your imagination!
Pela: ...Oh, uh... Why don't you take a break — I'll have a look at this stove.
(Obtain Geomarrow Activation Element Geomarrow Activation Element ×1)

Fix the heater[]

UI Companion Mission Step Description

What a surprise. The two girls receive the Geomarrow Activation Element they have been looking for.
Now is the time for Pela to show off her skills and fix the heater.
Icon Dialogue Gear Repair
(Solve Magflow Link)
Pela: Okay, all done.
Lynx: What is this magic? I couldn't figure out the problem at all...
Pela: No magic here. Just a trick or two I learned from Serval.
Lynx: My sister...
Pela: Yep, that's her. What's the matter?
Lynx: Ah... nothing. Just... sometimes I'm a bit jealous of Serval, you know? She knows everything...
Pela: Hehe, same as you, then.
Lynx: ...Huh?
Pela: I'm serious! Outdoor explorer, mechanic — they're both experts in their field, right? I think you two are awesome.
Pela: Anyway, it wouldn't be hard for you to get her to teach you something. You're her sister, she'd be happy to teach you
Lynx: You say that, but...
Lynx: ...Never mind. It's getting late. Let's cook something
Pela: Yay! That's my favorite part... Wait, no, my favorite part is watching the aurora!
Lynx: Anyways, let's take a look at what ingredients we have.
Lynx: (Every ingredient has its own effect, and combining them will create unexpected results...)
Lynx: (What kind of effects are they gonna make? Let's just give it a try.)
(Submit Ice-Fresh Raw Frostweave Salmon Slices Ice-Fresh Raw Frostweave Salmon Slices ×1)
Lynx: Ah... 700-year-old raw fish.
Pela: You don't have to emphasize the "700 years" part, y'know...
Lynx: The older, the rarer! Plus, you had to enter that ruin for it — even more special...
Pela: You don't have to emphasize that either!
Lynx: Then let's just say it'll be tonight's main course, haha. Time to show you my culinary skills!
Pela: Um... Why don't I cook tonight? You can take a break....
Lynx: It's no problem! Leave it to me.
Item Frostweave Salmon Bread
Lynx: Ta-da. Frostweave Salmon Bread is ready!
(Submit Mimic Snow Slugs Mimic Snow Slugs ×1)
Lynx: Ah... Cute mimic snow slug.
Pela: Are we really going to eat that...?
Lynx: Don't worry. It may not look tasty, but I guarantee you'll fall in love with it on the first bite.
Pela: I still don't believe this is supposed to be food...
Item Stone-Roasted Meat Skewer
Lynx: Ta-da. The Stone-Roasted Meat Skewer is ready!
(Submit both Ice-Fresh Raw Frostweave Salmon Slices Ice-Fresh Raw Frostweave Salmon Slices ×1 and Mimic Snow Slugs Mimic Snow Slugs ×1)
Lynx: Ah... raw fish from 700 years ago and some cute mimic snow slug.
Pela: I don't think... either is edible...
Lynx: Don't worry.. We'll make them into a hotpot. Just add cream, biscuit crumbs, and the canned sardines I brought...
Pela: You're putting canned sardines into a hotpot!? Please don't say that...
Lynx: Well then, this will be the main course for tonight — I'll show you what I can do as a chef!
Pela: Um... Why don't I cook tonight? You can take a break...
Lynx: Come on, it's fine. Just leave it to me.
Item Snow Plains Combo Stew
Lynx: Ta-da! The super delicious Snow Plains Combo Stew is ready!
(After cooking)
Pela: Ah... It smells so good! I'm gonna dig in!

You feel an amazing energy as you enjoy a meal with your fellow campers...

Pela: I'm so full... guess now we just wait for the light show.
Lynx: The aurora should start soon. Before that... let's just chat.
Lynx: Pela... Why did you suddenly want to come camping?
Pela: Huh?
Lynx: Well, aren't you always saying how you just wanna lie in bed when you get off work?
Pela: Ah! Sorry, I hope this trip didn't surprise you...
Lynx: No, no! I mean, sure, I'm not the most sociable of people, but I love camping with a good friend.
lynx: I had a great time — it's been a lot of fun.
Pela: ...
Lynx: You're always like this. Even on this camping trip, you keep trying to do things.
Lynx: You really don't need to, just leave it to me. Camping is about relaxing — no need to be so tense.
Pela: ...I know.
Pela: It's just, I was really getting into the camping! I felt like I finally got around to doing the things i always wanted to...
Lynx: So all those comics you drew for the Tales series didn't count?
Pela: Uhh... I have to hide those from other people. I get a little embarrassed.
Lynx: You care about other people's opinions too much.
Pela: I suppose. I wish I could be more like you...
Lynx: I... I'm not as cool as you think.
Lynx: I don't know how to handle my brother and sister... They keep treating me as a kid.
Lynx: They're both really capable and awesome people... Which is why I feel really pressured when I'm with them...
Lynx: I'm already a grown-up... I have the capacity to do what I want to do...
Lynx: Why can't they just stop worrying and let me do what I want?
Pela: ...That's how families are.
Lynx: ...Ah, sorry. I shouldn't talk about this. I was getting carried away.
Pela: It's okay... It's not like I even know what she looked like...
Pela: So... when's the aurora due...?
Pela: *gasp* Careful, Lynx — there are monsters coming!
(Begin battle against Flamespawn Flamespawn ×1,Blaze Out of Space Blaze Out of Space ×1)
Pela: How did it get here!?
Lynx: Let's focus on the fight first.

(After the battle)
Pela: These Fragmentum monsters are coming out of thin air...
Lynx: They were probably attracted by the stove. The Stellaron crisis is over, why are there still so many monsters?
Icon Dialogue Arrow It takes time for the Fragmentum's influence to fade.
Pela: Ah. I see...
Icon Dialogue Arrow With me around, there's no need to worry!
Pela: Hmph, we could've handled it..
Pela: Wait — where did you come from all of a sudden!?
Lynx: Pela? Who is this?
Pela: Um... This is the trailblazer — the savior of Belobog.
Lynx: I see. Well, in that case, thanks for saving us — not to mention Belobog.
Lynx: So, what's a big hero like you doing out here?
Icon Dialogue Arrow Serval and Gepard sent me.
Lynx: *sigh*...I knew it.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Um... Er...
Lynx: Never mind... I can take a guess. Serval and Gepard sent you to protect us, right?
Lynx: They're always like this. It's impossible to get some private time as their younger sister.
Icon Dialogue Arrow I didn't exactly see eye to eye with them...
Pela: Then why did you still come here...
Icon Dialogue Arrow That's how families are.
Pela: Yeah...
Pela: Hold on, isn't that what I just said?
Lynx: Alright alright, It's all because Serval and Gepard are worrywarts. Besides, you did save us...
Lynx: Since you followed us all the way here, you probably know why we're out camping today...
Lynx: Stay and watch the aurora with us.

At night
Lynx: It's about time for it to appear...
Pela: Hey! Lynxy! Look!
Lynx: Come this way.

Pela: Wow...
Lynx: This is the largest aurora since the Stellaron crisis passed.
Lynx: We're really lucky to see it.
Pela: Yeah...
Pela: Really lucky.

Pela: So awesome... I got to taste Lynxy's cooking and see the aurora... This Snow Plains adventure was the best!
Lynx: You look really happy.
Pela: Huh? Me?
Pela: Ahem! I—I'm not THAT happy, I, wh—what I mean is, uh...
Icon Dialogue Arrow Say what's on your mind!
Lynx: Yeah, go for it, Pela.
Pela: I...
Icon Dialogue Arrow Lynx will be upset...
Pela: Huh!? I... I hope not...
Lynx: It's okay. I won't be sad. I understand what Pela really feels.
Icon Dialogue Arrow You weren't just here for the camping
Pela: I was going to say that... but now I suddenly don't want to.
Lynx: I understand what Pela really feels. You don't need to hide it.
Pela: *sigh* It was a great experience... thanks to you Lynxy, not to mention you, (Trailblazer).
Pela: Anyway, what now? Back home? Wanna go out for a midnight snack later?
Lynx: We can! I heard a pretty good steak place opening up in the south of the Administrative District. We can go try it out together
Pela: Sounds good! That's settled then. Let's part ways for now and rendezvous later tonight.
Lynx: Ah, Pela! Hold on...
Pela: Mm? What's up?
Item Floppy disk with a picture of Pela and her mother
Lynx: This... is for you.
Pela: What... is this?
Lynx: I found this on the ground before I fixed the stove. I guess that Fragmentum creature dropped it.
Lynx: I think... it might be best if you check it out yourself.
Pela: "Penya... Sergeyevna..."
Pela: ...I see. Thank you, Lynxy.
Pela: ...Let's meet up here later tonight... I better get going.
Lynx: Mm...

Report your findings from the Snow Plains to the Landau siblings[]

UI Companion Mission Step Description

The trip to observe the Snow Plains aurora is now over. You achieve a happy ending, but the two girls seem to want to make this trip even more special.
They've both gone home to prepare for supper later, just as you receive a message from the Landau siblings.
Now is the time to report to these two what you have seen out in the Snow Plains.
(When in the Administrative District)
(Trailblazer): (I should go talk to Gepard and Serval at the workshop...)
(Approach the workshop)
Gepard: Between expeditions, it's always a challenge to make time with Lynx... but why doesn't she want to talk to us?
Serval: Calm down. We've got (Trailblazer) to help us.

(Upon entering the workshop)
Serval: Hey, (Trailblazer)! We were just talking about you.
Gepard: How was it... with Lynx?
Tells the Landaus everything that happened in the snow plains...
Gepard: So, that "stranger" was Pela...
Serval: What can I say... Sounds like a Lynxy expedition alright.
Icon Dialogue Arrow You're not gonna get angry at her, right?
Serval: No way. As long as Lynxy can protect herself, I'll be supportive in all her ventures!
Gepard: Serval is right this time... This was Lynx's own choice. We won't be upset with her.
Gepard: But... exploring the Snow Plains is still quite dangerous...
Serval: Alright, alright, calm down. She'll be able to look after herself.
Icon Dialogue Arrow So, mission accomplished?
Serval: Thank you, (Trailblazer), for being around for this. Gepard was too anxious to sleep.
Gepard: I... Sis, you're exaggerating.
Serval: As for how we'll communicate with Lynxy in the future... We'll have to have a good think about it.
Serval: You really helped us a lot this time. Thank you so much, (Trailblazer)!

Head to the museum to find the two[]

UI Companion Mission Step Description

The trip to observe the Snow Plains aurora is now over. You achieve a happy ending, but the two girls seem to want to make this trip even more special.
Lynx seems to have finished her preparations and invites to you to go to the museum together to find Pela.
Go to the museum as per her request and meet up with the two of them.
(Approach Lynx)
Lynx: Ah, you're here too.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Yep.
Lynx: Then let's wait for Pela together. She's in the storage room.
Icon Dialogue Arrow What's she doing in there?
Icon Dialogue Arrow You're here early, Lynx.
Lynx: Mm-hmm. I went back, stored my supplies, and had a shower. It didn't take long.
Lynx: Let's wait for Pela together. She's in the storage room.
Icon Dialogue Arrow What's she doing in there?
Icon Dialogue Arrow Is Pela not here yet?
Lynx: She's in the storage room. Let's wait for her.
Icon Dialogue Arrow What's she doing in there?
Lynx: I think she's looking over the contents of that floppy disk... Let's give her some time.
Icon Dialogue Arrow What's in the floppy disk?
Lynx: I don't know the exact details, but...
Icon Dialogue Arrow So, she might be a while?
Lynx: ...
Lynx: I'm guessing you don't know about Pela's mother, right?
Lynx: Penya Sergeyevna was Belobog's greatest outdoor explorer — passed away sixteen years ago.
Icon Dialogue Arrow That name sounds familiar.
Lynx: She's famous in Belobog. You might have heard other people mention her in passing.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Pela never mentioned...
Lynx: Mm, she doesn't usually talk about it.
Icon Dialogue Arrow You sure it's okay to tell me this?
Lynx: I asked her already... and she said it was fine. She seems like she really trusts you.
Icon Dialogue Arrow I can understand why...
Lynx: Looks like Pela was right in trusting you.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Cocolia allowed explorations outside of the city?
Lynx: The exploration team belonged to the Silvermane Guards at the time, so they had authorization.
Lynx: *sigh* Anyway, something else happened sixteen years ago...
Lynx: ...Pela was born.
Icon Dialogue Arrow ...
Icon Dialogue Arrow You mean...
Lynx: ...Yes.
Lynx: They say that despite her pregnancy, Madam Penya insisted on staying at the Snow Plains camp. She couldn't go to the front lines, but she was able to handle administrative duties.
Lynx: Then, finally... the day of Pela's birth arrived.
Lynx: Tragically, there were complications... Other serious incidents occurred that day — the exploration team ran into a blizzard and the camp lost contact with the outside world... No one knew what to do.
Lynx: The only good thing... was that Pela was born healthy.
Icon Dialogue Arrow I never knew any of this.
Lynx: ...
Icon Dialogue Arrow So what about the floppy disk?
Lynx: The floppy disk... If the old research team members were telling the truth...
Lynx: ...It was something Madam Penya left behind.

Pela: ...
Lynx: Madam Penya asked a colleague to take her terminal and floppy disk back to Belobog — she said they contained a "treasure" for Pela.
Lynx: She said that once Pela was older, she'd be able to understand the contents.
Pela: ...
Lynx: But that colleague was attacked by Fragmentum creatues on his way back to the city.
Lynx: During the attack he dropped the floppy disk in confusion, only managing to bring back the terminal.
Lynx: Apart from Madam Penya, nobody knew what the floppy disk contained... but they say she left Pela many letters.

(Cutscene plays)
Lynx: From the moment she knew she was pregnant
Lynx: ...to the day of Pela's birth...
Lynx: Never missing a day.
Pela: Mom...
Pela: Mom...
Pela: Mom...

Lynx: ...
Icon Dialogue Arrow Lynx, are you okay?
Lynx: I'm fine...
Icon Dialogue Arrow ...
Lynx: ...
Lynx: (Trailblazer), there's somewhere I want to go — will you come too?
Icon Dialogue Arrow Absolutely
Icon Dialogue Arrow Where to?
Lynx: ...The workshop.
Lynx: I'll wait for you there.

Listen to all the Landau siblings talk to each other[]

UI Companion Mission Step Description

Lynx seems to be emotionally affected because of Pela. She asks you to go back to the Neverwinter workshop with her, and seems to have something to say to her siblings.
Listen to what Lynx has to say.
(Enter the workshop)
Lynx: ...
Lynx: Serval, Gepard...
Lynx: ...
Lynx: ...I'm back!
Gepard: Lynx! You're finally back...
Gepard: Uh, what's with the red eyes? Did something happen?
Serval: ...Gepard! Way to make it obvious.
Serval: Welcome home, Lynxy.
Lynx: Mm...
Serval: Aww, it's okay. It's okay...
Serval: Seems like a lot went down in the Snow Plains. Thanks again for your help, (Trailblazer).
Serval: I think we need a little private time. See you soon.
(Trailblazer): (I should give them some time together...)

(Mission completed)
(Obtain Achievement Beyond Frozen Boundaries)
(Visitor Verification)
(Pela has become a visitor to the Express. You might come across Pela when you return to the Express)
(Lynx has become a visitor to the Express. You might come across Lynx when you return to the Express)

Post-Mission[]

(Listen to the Landaus inside the workshop, optional)
Lynx: I'm sorry... for always being so stubborn...
Serval: That's okay. Gepard and I understand... right, Gepard?
Gepard: Huh? Ah... Yes, of course.
Gepard: But I have to say, Lynx... I think it's dangerous for you to leave the city on your own...
Serval: *sigh* Gepard! Are you quite finished?
