Dialogue[]

Speak with Cyrene by the lake[]

UI Adventure Mission Mission Description

Cyrene is staring blankly at the lake by the courtyard. What could be on her mind? Go ask and find out.
(Talk to Cyrene)
Cyrene: No matter how many times I look, it's still so beautiful...
Cyrene: Ah, (Trailblazer), it's good to see you! Come take a look. Want to see the treasure of Aedes Elysiae?
Icon Dialogue Arrow Treasure?
Icon Dialogue Arrow (Step forward to look)
Cyrene: Right here. Look closely!

Cyrene: Isn't it just beautiful?
Icon Dialogue Arrow ...
Cyrene: Cat got your tongue? Or are you just dazzled by your own reflection?
Icon Dialogue Arrow So, you were...
Cyrene: That's right, (Trailblazer), you get it too, don't you? Sometimes, you just feel so radiant you can't help but stop in front of a mirror...
Cyrene: Alright, alright. I wasn't kidding, though. The treasure is right here. This little lake. My own little world.
Cyrene: Can I ask? (Trailblazer), do you like being by yourself? I do. Just staring at the lake by myself, gently swaying on the swing... My mind drifts far away, and by the time it comes back, I've already fallen asleep.
Cyrene: Here in this village shrouded by the Veil of Evernight, dreams give wings to imagination. Children who grow up in Aedes Elysiae are born poets at heart.
Cyrene: This sort of atmosphere is hard to come by... so let me share a story with you.
Icon Dialogue Arrow I'm all ears.
Cyrene: How wonderful! You're so patient, (Trailblazer). Stories only shine when they have a listener like you.
Icon Dialogue Arrow What if I doze off?
Cyrene: Don't worry. Just think of it as a bedtime story. I'll whisper it softly and quietly until the final sentence comes to a close.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Shouldn't we head out of Aedes Elysiae already?
Cyrene: Getting your thoughts in order is part of preparing to leave, you know? It won't take long, I promise. Just think of it as granting me a little wish, alright?
Icon Dialogue Arrow Well, okay then. I'm listening.
Cyrene: Thanks, (Trailblazer), I knew it! You're the best!
Cyrene: "According to legend, within the hidden depths of Aedes Elysiae, live a group of playful little fairies."
Cyrene: "The fairies, though hidden away from the world, dreamed of living like humans. They tried to hold a grand banquet, just as the villagers would. But one thing was missing: the most important person."
Cyrene: "They waited and waited... and then, one day, footsteps echoed from the secret entrance! The fairies all pricked up their ears in excitement..."
Cyrene: Hah, would you say the hero of our little story has their ears pricked up right now?
A gentle drowsiness gradually envelops your thoughts, and you fall into the deepest of dreams...
???: Mem! Mem, mem!!!
Icon Dialogue Arrow I'm already in the story?
???: "Incredible! The hero has uncovered the essence of the world... and even spoke a line that's truly beyond expectation! But I must remind you... taking on the narrator's role is against the rules!"
Relimem: Chief, over here!
Relimem: It's really the "hero"! The hero that Reney found for us has finally arrived!
Dolimem: Heh. Welcome, dear guest. I sensed you would come.
Dolimem: When the wind chimes in the leaves rang for the twenty-fourth time, and the pink butterfly amidst the honey flowers took its fourth flight, I was certain.
Dolimem: The honored guest who will save the Membrance Maze... has finally come!
Relimem: Chief, no! The guest is over there. That way!
Dolimem: ...
Dolimem: Heh... Well, my memory's not the best, and my eyesight's a little fuzzy, but I never falter when it comes to doing the important stuff!
Dolimem: Honored guest who will save the Membrance Maze... you've finally arrived!
Relimem: Uh... Chief, over here...
Icon Dialogue Arrow Let's just cut to the chase...
Icon Dialogue Arrow It's fine. I'm not bothered.
Cyrene: My, what a cheerful scene! Already getting along so well with the fairies? No surprise, (Trailblazer). You shine no matter where you go.
Cyrene: Chief, Relimem, it's been forever! But, we're here, just as we said we would be.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Wait, why are you in the story too?
???: "Ahem... this is one of the characters in the story, an ordinary girl born in Aedes Elysiae. She just so happens to have the same name as me... and is every bit as pure and adorable."
???: "Cut me some slack. Making up a story on the spot is really hard! But I promise, I'll make it up to you. I'll make your scenes as vivid and dramatic as possible!"
Dolimem: It's only proper that I explain. Once more, I thank each and every honored guest. Thank you so much...
Dolimem: For coming to Membrance Maze, to help the fairies rebuild our long-abandoned restaurant.
Relimem: We want tasty, scrumptious food, we really do! Mem! But we don't know how to cook!
Relimem: Heroes, we're begging you! The fairies are starving... and when they're hungry, they just want to destroy the world! Please help us. Save the Membrance Maze!
Icon Dialogue Arrow I see... so this is the "saving" you had in mind?
Icon Dialogue Arrow Actually "destroy the world"?
Dolimem: Heh, Relimem was exaggerating just a smidgen.
Dolimem: It's not that serious... At most, their fury will burn through six-sevenths of Amphoreus.
Cyrene: ...That still sounds pretty "serious" to me!
Cyrene: So that's the situation. For the sake of Amphoreus, let's rebuild the restaurant together and grant the fairies their little wish.
Icon Dialogue Arrow For the sake of the world, it's an obligation I gladly accept.
Icon Dialogue Arrow I have no idea what's going on, but it sounds cool... I'll give it a shot.
Dolimem: At last... at long last! ! I have to tell the little ones that the fairies' restaurant is coming back at last!
Cyrene: Let me lead the way. Come on, I'll take you to see it... The little restaurant in the maze has a certain charm all its own.

Head to the restaurant deep in the Maze[]

UI Adventure Mission Step Description

The village chief of Membrance Maze gave you an assignment to revive the restaurant, saying that fairies with empty stomachs might just destroy the world... So... does that mean that you have teleported into Cyrene's stories?
Cyrene: This way, this way. Everyone's already setting things up.
(Trailblazer): (Everyone?)
(Approach Cerydra)
Aglaea: Managing this place is bound to be full of endless trivial responsibilities... Do you really intend to personally shoulder the leadership role?
Cerydra: I already accepted the invitation and arrived in the fairies' home, so it's only right that I personally see to things. Otherwise, by avoiding my duties, wouldn't I be merely posing as Imperator?
Icon Dialogue Arrow Huh? Why are these two here!?
Icon Dialogue Arrow As I expected...
Icon Dialogue Arrow It's been a while, Aglaea.
Aglaea: Whatever do you mean? It was just a few minutes ago that we were together.
Cyrene: (Trailblazer) seems excited and wants to play the "New Friend Game" with everyone. Hehe, let's humor (him/her).
Cyrene: I believe they need no further introduction. Aglaea and Cerydra are prominent figures, with great expertise in managing teams.
Cerydra: Word had reached me that Cyrene found an excellent manager. Seeing you today, I must say... you do have a noble bearing.
Cerydra: I, leader of the Okhema Alliance, Imperator of the holy city, shall serve as your "Restaurant Supervisor"Manager's Assistant. Should you have any questions about management, feel free to come and ask!
Aglaea: As for assembling the team... I planned ahead. If my timing is right, those two should be back any moment now.
Tribbie: Right on cue! We found lots of fairies willing to be waitstaff, and Trianne's onboarding them as we speak!
Phainon: The trial menu is ready too! Don't worry. These are all my best dishes. There won't be any issues!
Icon Dialogue Arrow The team just keeps getting bigger.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Those two... exactly what I expected.
Cyrene: Tribbie, Trinnon, Trianne. Responsible for our delivery service, and also great mentors for the team.
Cyrene: And of course, Phainon, our good friend who insists he's a fantastic cook. He's acting as the restaurant's (provisional) head chef.
Phainon: Think I can only rustle up provisions? No way. I make proper, serious dishes. If you don't believe me, I'll show you what I can do, right here!
Tribbie: The fairy waitstaff are all itching to start. No point in delaying. Time to test the results of everyone's training!
Cyrene: Things are going even smoother than I expected. Since everyone's ready...
Cyrene: Alright, let's start the first day of operations. It's all up to you now, Manager.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Restaurant Manager, reporting for duty!
(Starts The Chrysos Maze Grand Restaurant)

Open for business for the day[]

UI Adventure Mission Step Description

Go find Cerydra and start managing today's business. Better not keep those hungry fairies waiting.
(After all customers have been served)
Relimem: Mem! So yummy! Everyone's delighted. We really love it! Thank you!
Cyrene: I hereby declare the fairy restaurant's very first day of business has come to a perfect close!
Cyrene: Of course, it must've been a breeze for you, right? Not going to say a few words?
Icon Dialogue Arrow Thank you all for your hard work and dedication.
Cyrene: So formal! Perhaps... (Trailblazer) might just have some leadership potential?
Icon Dialogue Arrow No thanks. I like to keep a low profile.
Cyrene: Hehe, then I'll say it for you: Thank you everyone for your hard work. Most of all, our honorable Manager!
Phainon: However, if we want to offer the fairies a wider variety of dishes, our current range of ingredients is still quite lacking.
Cyrene: Absolutely. If we don't keep updating the menu, the guests will get tired of the same old dishes.
Aglaea: That won't be a problem. I foresaw this and hired two experts in agriculture and forestry.
Aglaea: Though I must say, one of them... took quite a bit of effort to convince. But in the end, it all worked out. They should be at the farm right now.
Cyrene: Aglaea you're amazing as always! Alright, let's go take a look at the experts' work.

Hyacine: Professor Anaxa, can you truly solve the limited sunlight problem?
Anaxa: Refer to me as Anaxagoras, Hyacine. A field trip is no excuse to disregard classroom discipline.
Cyrene: It's really them... Anaxa of the Seven Sages and Hyacine of the Twilight Courtyard.
Anaxa: Firstly, call me Anaxagoras.
Anaxa: Secondly, I have no interest in feeding small creatures. My assistant will take care of trivial chores.
Hyacine: Don't let the professor's cold demeanor fool you. When we first arrived, he was the most excited of all!
Hyacine: He was going on and on: "This is... a miracle of alchemy!" And then dove right toward those tiny critters! Honestly, I was worried he'd toss the fairies into a matrix right then and there.
Anaxa: I wouldn't go that far. At most, I'd take a few samples for research purposes.
Hyacine: That's... probably not allowed either...
Hyacine: Ah, I was talking so much that I almost forgot what you came here for.
Hyacine: Grayie, you're curious about the farmland, right? The professor just finished developing some crops perfect for the local environment. If you're interested, you can try planting some yourself!
Icon Dialogue Arrow Let me farm in the Maze already!

(After fully planting the farmland)
Hyacine: All done! Now we just wait a day, and the field will be full of ripe crops. Don't forget to harvest on time!
Icon Dialogue Arrow They grow that fast?
Icon Dialogue Arrow Don't they need to perform photosynthesis?
Icon Dialogue Arrow The ecology of Membrance Maze is just amazing!
Cyrene: Given that these two are experts from the Academy of Reason, something this trivial should be no trouble at all for them.
Cyrene: Phew, ever since we arrived in the Maze, it's been one thing after another... I'm feeling a little worn out.
Cyrene: I'm starting to feel sleepy too... Guess it's time to wind down.
Cyrene: Alright, we'll meet here again tomorrow!

Keep running the restaurant and complete your current business goals[]

UI Adventure Mission Step Description

The Memchelin Food Review has been postponed. For now, let's focus on running the restaurant and prioritize meeting business goals.
Tribbie: Little Gray! Hurry up! Look, the fairies are already lining up outside the restaurant!
Hungry Fairy: Mem! Why isn't it open yet? I'm growing fur-roots here!
Phainon: Can't believe our soft launch is already such a hit. The crops in the field should be ready too. Now it's time to go all out, partner.
Cyrene: Looks like our head chef can't wait to get started. Why don't we open for business now? Let's not keep the fairies waiting.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Alright, let's do it.
Cerydra: But before we open for the day, I need to confirm. What's your vision for the restaurant's future?
Cerydra: As the supervisor, I'll need to plan accordingly based on your direction.
Tribbie: A plan? I don't really get that stuff... Isn't it enough if more faeries come to eat?
Cerydra: If we're just talking traffic, we've got two approaches: run discounts, or boost table turnover. Each one puts different demands on the team. And more customers means more management pressure, which is not always a good thing.
Cyrene: A long-term goal really would help. (Trailblazer), mind picking a direction for us to aim toward?
Icon Dialogue Talk Be bigger and better?
Cerydra: A little vague for a goal. We need something that can be evaluated more concretely.
Icon Dialogue Talk Make more money?
Tribbie: We remember the village chief's request was to revitalize the restaurant. Making a profit was more of a side effect.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Become a Memchelin 3-star restaurant.
Cyrene: Now that sounds fun! Everyone working together, overcoming challenges to raise our rating, and becoming the most beloved restaurant in the end! That's a fun story, don't you think?
Cyrene: As it happens, I picked this up on the way here.
(Quick Read)
The Memchelin Gourmet Guide
...
Mem! Attention, everyone! Memem!
The Membrance Maze's Food Review is about to begin. Invited restaurants should deliver their dishes to the Wondrous Woods! Late entries will not be accepted! The review council meets regularly. The panel consists of two fairy representatives and one special guest. Rating standards are as follows:

One Star: An excellent restaurant.
Two Stars: An outstanding restaurant worth a detour.
Three Stars: An extraordinary restaurant worth organizing a special trip for!
Four Stars: (Can't think of anything better!)

Reminder: attempting to bribe judges with delicious food is strictly forbidden! Absolutely not allowed!
...
Cyrene: Our little place isn't even listed yet. So, no stars to speak of.
Cyrene: Since the review is held regularly... why don't we set our ultimate goal as becoming a Memchelin four-star restaurant?
Icon Dialogue Arrow Sounds like a plan.
Icon Dialogue Arrow One more star than three?
Icon Dialogue Arrow That's... suspiciously convenient.
Icon Dialogue Arrow You totally just made that up on the spot, didn't you?
???: "Oh, I only borrowed the name you mentioned. I promise the rest of the story will be completely original!"
Cerydra: I don't mind. It's a golden opportunity to build our reputation. If we can boost our rating, we'll attract even more customers.
Phainon: Besides, simply submitting our dishes for review won't interfere with regular operations.
Cyrene: Then it's settled! (Trailblazer), you just might become the very first four-star restaurant owner in the entire Maze!
Icon Dialogue Arrow Goal — Four-Star Restaurant!
Cyrene: Such energy. Count me in! Goal — Four stars!
Icon Dialogue Arrow Sounds good to me.
Cyrene: It's really impressive, actually. A four-star rating means the highest possible praise from the fairies. It's a huge honor!
Tribbie: Little Gray, don't forget there's something else. The guidebook says we need to submit the restaurant's name when we enter the review.
Cyrene: Right! We've all just been calling it "The Fairy Restaurant" this whole time.
Phainon: Well, let's leave the naming to our manager. It's gotta sound impressive, and appealing too.
Ah, naming... a task that has driven you to the brink many times before. Once again, you search through your mental archives, hoping to find the perfect name that captures your vision.
(Trailblazer): My restaurant shall be called...
Icon Dialogue Arrow The Trailblazer's Hearth.
Cerydra: Heh. Naming your domain after yourself... Now that's the audacity of a true monarch. Excellent, I approve.
Cerydra: Well? If that's your final choice, I'll make it official.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Let's go with that.
Icon Dialogue Return Best to think it over...
Icon Dialogue Arrow Maze Grand Hotel.
Tribbie: We love that one! Makes us think of a banquet full of tasty treats. Sounds super grand, too!
Cerydra: Well? If that's your final choice, I'll make it official.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Let's go with that.
Icon Dialogue Return Best to think it over...
Icon Dialogue Arrow Aedes Elysiae Community Canteen.
Phainon: I've got no issue with that name. Just a shame no one from the village can actually come dine in the Maze.
Cerydra: Well? If that's your final choice, I'll make it official.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Let's go with that.
Icon Dialogue Return Best to think it over...
Icon Dialogue Arrow Chrysos Heir Activity Center.
Cyrene: Ah, saying weird things again. But if you like it, I'm sure there's some special meaning behind it.
Cerydra: Well? If that's your final choice, I'll make it official.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Let's go with that.
Icon Dialogue Return Best to think it over...
Icon Dialogue Arrow Custom Name 2.
Cerydra: ...My dear subjects all consider silence a virtue. Seems I should learn from them this time.
Cerydra: Well? If that's your final choice, I'll make it official.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Let's go with that.
Icon Dialogue Return Best to think it over...
Cerydra: Got it. From this moment on, the restaurant shall be known as "(The Trailblazer's Hearth/Maze Grand Restaurant/Aedes Elysiae Community Canteen/Chrysos Heir Activity Center/Custom Name 2)."
Cerydra: The gourmet review will be held after closing today. Until then, everyone, focus on boosting our revenue.
Cerydra: If we can't even meet our baseline income target, showing up for the review would just make us a laughingstock.
Phainon: Oh, and one more thing. Our mission is to serve the fairies great food. That means our dishes must remain front and center.
Cyrene: If we keep arguing, the fairies' stomachs will start growling. Let's save the rest for after we open the doors.
Cyrene: (Trailblazer), we'll be counting on you!
(Trailblazer): Now, I hereby declare...
Icon Dialogue Arrow "(The Trailblazer's Hearth/Maze Grand Restaurant/Aedes Elysiae Community Canteen/Chrysos Heir Activity Center/Custom Name 2)" is officially open for business!
(Unlock Achievement (Trailblazer)'s Homemade Meal)

Open for business for the day[]

UI Adventure Mission Step Description

Go find Cerydra and start managing today's business. Better not keep those hungry fairies waiting.
(Talk to Tribbie, Trianne or Trinnon, optional)
Tribbie: Tribbie's thinking of ways to speed up food delivery~
Trianne: Trianne's superfast on her feet!
Trinnon: Trinnon can modify our little rocket!
Icon Dialogue Talk How's the server training going?
Tribbie: All smooth sailing, no worries, Little Gray! The fairies work at lightning speed, and they're super motivated to boot!
Trianne: The only problem is that they keep sneaking bites of the food.
Trinnon: Trinnon's warned them several times, but it hasn't really helped much.
Tribbie: We know what to do! Next time, we'll ask the little Imperator to be the supervisor. She'll definitely keep little fairies in line!
Icon Dialogue Exit Let's catch up another time!
Tribbie: Go handle your business, Little Gray! We'll do our best!
(Talk to Phainon, optional)
Phainon: A treasure appraiser who can't swing a sword is no real chef! Haha, it's been a while since I last cooked, but getting back into it was surprisingly easy.
Icon Dialogue Talk How's the kitchen holding up?
Phainon: Things are going smoothly. The farmland's supplying plenty of ingredients, and our signature dishes are a big hit with the customers. We're just a bit short on hands... the kitchen's absolute chaos every day.
Phainon: Once the fairy chef gets more used to the workflow, it should ease up. For now, I'll just have to shoulder the load.
Phainon: But hey, that's what being a head chef is all about. I'm honestly enjoying it.
Icon Dialogue Exit Let's catch up another time!
Phainon: Sure thing! You're always welcome to swing by the kitchen anytime, Manager.
(Talk to Aglaea, optional)
Aglaea: Managing a restaurant is no easy feat. You have my thanks, Manager.
Icon Dialogue Talk What have you been working on lately?
Aglaea: At the Imperator's request, I've been setting up golden threads across the Maze. You'll now be able to access the World Wound Web freely.
Aglaea: Strange... despite the dense fairy population here, the golden threads haven't picked up a single tremor. Quite odd.
Aglaea: But... heh, I suspect you already know why that is. So I won't pry.
Icon Dialogue Exit Let's catch up another time!
Aglaea: The World Wound Web still needs ongoing maintenance anyway. If anything comes up, you know where to find me.
(Talk to Anaxa or Hyacine, optional)
Anaxa: ...Note this down. After replanting, the experimental batch yielded approximately 30% more than the control group.
Hyacine: Could it be due to the alchemical solution? Or perhaps just a fluke?
Anaxa: Too early to tell. Based on my soil data, we should run a few more trials, this time with better control over light exposure.
Icon Dialogue Talk You two agricultural specialists are taking this really seriously!
Hyacine: Ah, hey there, Grayie! Fairies love good food, so of course we're going all out.
Anaxa: This is just basic research. Hyacine, did you note down everything I just said?
Hyacine: Yup, all recorded. Oh, and you also said, "Carrots I grow myself really do taste better!" Should I write that down too?
Anaxa: ...That won't be necessary.
Icon Dialogue Exit I better leave you alone then...
The two agricultural experts are still deep in conversation, tossing around academic terms like "dominant vs. recessive" and "segregation and recombination." Best not interrupt for now.
(Talk to Cerydra)
Cerydra: Running a restaurant is no different from governing a city-state. Every move must be cautiously considered. Manager, are you ready to open for business?
Icon Dialogue Travel Log Let's begin today's business.
(Starts The Chrysos Maze Grand Restaurant)
Icon Dialogue Talk I want to talk about the team.
Cerydra: Heh. Honestly, I'm quite pleased to have gathered so many capable heroes, all lending their talents to this venture.
Cerydra: What would you like to discuss?
Icon Dialogue Talk About the Restaurant Supervisor...
Cerydra: The role of the Restaurant Supervisor currently falls under my purview. Dux Goldweaver assists me from time to time as well.
Cerydra: Thankfully, everyone on the team is dedicated and capable. It spares me from having to micromanage, allowing me to focus on business development and long-term growth.
Cerydra: Sounds idle, doesn't it? In reality, it's all endless stacks of data reports, and a never-ending flood of customer complaints. Utterly annoying.
Icon Dialogue Talk About the Chef...
Cerydra: I heard this chef's been close with the fairies since childhood. I assume that means he has a strong grasp of the local clientele's tastes.
Cerydra: Still... I don't understand why he's so obsessed with salads.
Icon Dialogue Talk About the Delivery Coordinators...
Cerydra: Dux Fatorum move with light feet and excel in delivering items and connecting people, so they are perfectly suited for this role.
Cerydra: My only concern is their overly close relationship with the local fairies, which makes it difficult for them to impose strict discipline on the delivery crew. Still, that might not be a flaw but rather an asset.
Cerydra: Oh, and... ahem. Openly commenting on the Imperator's height is a breach of etiquette. I'll let it slide this time.
Icon Dialogue Talk About the Agricultural Experts...
Cerydra: I'm not particularly familiar with the two Grove scholars, but judging by the state of the farmland, their talents are beyond question.
Cerydra: I've heard whispers about one of them having a rather eccentric disposition, but does it matter? So long as they serve the restaurant well and ensure a bountiful harvest, that's all we need.
Icon Dialogue Return That's all for now.
Icon Dialogue Exit Let's catch up another time!
Cerydra: No trouble at all. I'll be here.

(After all customers have been served)
Stuffed Fairy: Mem! My tummy's full and my heart's all warm. I'm so happy, mem!
Cyrene: Applause! Today's business wrapped up without a hitch.
Phainon: Whew... I wasn't expecting the kitchen work to ramp up that much with more customers. But I must say, it felt really rewarding.
Tribbie: Little Gray did great too. Worthy of praise!
Icon Dialogue Talk Wait, isn't someone missing?
Cyrene: Oh right. I don't think we saw Aglaea?
Cerydra: If you mean the Dux Goldweaver, I sent her on an important errand. We should see the results tomorrow.
Cerydra: No need to mark her absent. Let's call it an "official business trip."
Icon Dialogue Talk Can I get more compliments?
Stuffed Fairy: Mem! Thank you all, and thank you, manager! We'll definitely be coming back, mem!
Cyrene: The fairies' gratitude is written all over their full, happy bellies.
Icon Dialogue Arrow None of this would've been possible without everyone's hard work.
Phainon: Now that everything's settled at the restaurant, it's time for the Memchelin Food Review.
Phainon: I'm actually curious... What kind of feedback will my dishes get?
Cyrene: Alright. Let's head out when you're ready.

Get ready and attend the Memchelin Food Review[]

UI Adventure Mission Step Description

Membrance Maze's big event, the Memchelin Food Review, is about to begin! Gather your restaurant crew and join!
What reviews will your dishes receive?
(Talk to Cyrene)
Cyrene: The food review is about to begin. Ready to hit the road?
Icon Dialogue Arrow Come on, let's get going!
Cyrene: It's our first time at a review like this. I'm somewhat nervous... Wonder what kind of score we'll get?
Cyrene: Here's hoping it's a great start. Come on, let's move.
Icon Dialogue Exit Still got a couple of things to wrap up...
Cyrene: No worries. Once you're ready, just come find us.

Announcer Fairy: Memem... Mem! The Memchelin Food Review is about to begin. Please get ready, mem!
Tribbie: The fairies are really serious about this. Is it that formal of an event?
Phainon: Fairies hold food to the highest standards. As we all know, there's no matter too trivial in food quality.
Announcer Fairy: In the spirit of fairness, impartiality, and transparency, our judges will taste each dish on-site and deliver their final verdict, mem!
Announcer Fairy: Now then, mem! Please place your submitted dish on the designated table, mem!
Cyrene: We'll need something that best represents our restaurant. The choice of our signature dish now rests in your hands.
This is a huge moment. The food review can make or break a restaurant's reputation. This calls for a thorough deliberation. You picture the judges savoring the dish... And finally, the answer comes to your mind.
(Trailblazer): The dish we're presenting is—
Icon Dialogue Arrow Colorful Salad.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Lettuce Salad.
Phainon: Got it. I'll place the dish you chose onto the table.
Announcer Fairy: Aside from the two traditional fairy judges, we've also invited a mystery guest for this review!
Announcer Fairy: Word has it she's traveled far and wide, tasted countless delicacies, and is especially skilled at preparing raw ingredients. They say she's earned the title... "The Kitchen Slayer!"
Announcer Fairy: What kind of twist will this special guest bring to the Memchelin Food Review? Stay tuned and find out, mem!
Phainon: ...
Icon Dialogue Arrow You're not getting nervous, are you?
Phainon: Ha, haha... Of course not! I'm a professional chef now. A little food review's nothing! Totally under control!
Cyrene: Who could this mysterious special guest be? The village chief never mentioned anything about this beforehand.
Icon Dialogue Arrow I've got a feeling it's a familiar face.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Shall we use the method of elimination?
Tribbie: Ah! We see her! That new judge is—
Castorice: (Mr./Miss) (Trailblazer), it's been a while. I didn't expect to meet you all here.
Phainon: Miss Castorice? So, you're the special guest judge the fairies invited.
Tribbie: Cas! You here to play with the little fairies too?
Castorice: I'm a bit embarrassed to say it, but I actually applied to be the restaurant's chef. Unfortunately, my skills didn't pass the village chief's assessment.
Castorice: Still, I do have a decent palate when it comes to gourmet dishes. So I accepted the fairies' invitation to act as a guest judge today.
Icon Dialogue Arrow We're all friends here, maybe just let us pass?
Castorice: That... I'm afraid I can't. The results are determined by a vote between me and the two fairy judges. I can't decide it alone.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Do you have the deciding vote?
Castorice: No... To keep things fair, the results will be jointly decided by me and two fairy judges.
Castorice: Now that the dishes are in place, I'll help myself.

Castorice: Hmm.
Phainon: ...
Judge Fairy: Mem! Memem, mememem!
Castorice: I agree as well. Then, allow me to announce the outcome of this Food Review—
Castorice: Your dishes were excellent.
Phainon: Yes!
Castorice: The freshness of the vegetables was immediately apparent, and the dressing added just the right depth of flavor.
Castorice: For a newly opened restaurant to offer cuisine of this quality is rare. Clearly, your management has been outstanding, (Mr./Miss) (Trailblazer).
Castorice: However... I do have one question. Why is the menu entirely made up of salads?
Icon Dialogue Arrow That would be a question for our head chef.
Phainon: Because we only have farm-grown vegetables to work with. Also, I genuinely think salad is a fantastic dish.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Because we can't grow meat in the fields.
Phainon: That's part of it. But also, I truly believe salads are a wonderfully crafted culinary form.
Castorice: ...Understood. I look forward to the chance to taste more of your dishes, Lord Phainon.
Castorice: As proof that you've passed this Food Review, I hereby award the Memchelin Star Award to you.
Castorice: Please accept this, (Mr./Miss) (Trailblazer).

Judge Fairy: Mem! We hereby announce — "(The Trailblazer's Hearth/Maze Grand Restaurant/Aedes Elysiae Community Canteen/Chrysos Heir Activity Center/Custom Name 2)" is now officially listed in the Memchelin Gourmet Guide as a 1-star Restaurant, mem!
Judge Fairy: Keep it up! Aim for that four-star goal next! Mem!
Icon Dialogue Arrow The real Michelin system doesn't increase stars like this...
Cyrene: Don't sweat the details. If you reach the top right away, it'd ruin all the fun, wouldn't it?
Cerydra: Either way, a higher restaurant rating means more customers will be coming your way. Definitely something to celebrate.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Woohoo! We're a starred restaurant now!
Cyrene: Hooray! A starred restaurant! Easy-peasy!
Cerydra: Indeed. With the upgraded rating, more customers are sure to stop by for a meal. It's something worth celebrating.
Tribbie: Looks like we're about to get a lot busier! But that's a good thing.
Phainon: Having my cooking officially recognized... I feel fired up all over now!
Cyrene: We passed the Food Review. Great work, everyone. It's been quite the day. Let's head back now and take a break.

Talk to Cyrene about what happened today[]

UI Adventure Mission Step Description

You passed the food review, and the restaurant earned a Memchelin star! Go have a quick chat with Cyrene before you rest.
(Talk to Tribbie, optional)
Tribbie: We passed our first Memchelin Food Review! Little Gray, you did awesome, seriously! Praise time~
Tribbie: We'll try our best too, and help out even more!
(Talk to Phainon, optional)
Phainon: With the "Memchelin" seal of approval, we'll see more customers flowing in. Time to whip up some new dishes.
Phainon: ...How about pan-seared steak in a salad?
(Talk to Castorice, optional)
Castorice: Congratulations. Your restaurant has officially passed the review and is now featured in The Memchelin Gourmet Guide.
Castorice: While the dish selection may be a bit simple, Lord Phainon's salad turned out surprisingly tasty.
Icon Dialogue Talk I want to know about the Memchelin Food Review...
Castorice: Well. I'm not totally sure, either. From what I hear, the Maze has held food selections since long ago. Any dish or restaurant that wins recognition gets listed in the guide.
Castorice: But back then, fairies didn't know how to cook. Before your restaurants opened, there were hardly any dishes in the book at all.
Castorice: Just a few super simple things, like Raw Quillorb Salad or Pickled Honey Blossom... They adore good food and put a lot of heart into studying it, but when it comes to actual cooking, they can't grasp even the basics.
Icon Dialogue Talk How did you become a culinary judge?
Castorice: I... well, like I said at the review, I originally applied to be a chef, but I failed the cooking test. Luckily, I've still got a decent palate. So they invited me to join as a guest judge instead.
Castorice: It's a bit of a shame, not realizing my dream of becoming a chef. But I guess being a Memchelin judge still counts as staying close to the craft.
Icon Dialogue Exit Thank you! We'll keep doing our best!
Castorice: I'll be looking forward to tasting your dishes in future reviews too.
(Talk to Cyrene)
Cyrene: Phew, I'm exhausted but thrilled we passed. Just remember, the restaurant still needs to open tomorrow.
Cyrene: It's getting late. (Trailblazer), you should rest too.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Don't forget to come to work tomorrow.
Cyrene: Aww, so strict~ Don't worry, I'll be here bright and early tomorrow. See ya~
Icon Dialogue Exit I'm not ready to rest yet.
Cyrene: Oh, that's right. (Trailblazer), you've still got a lot to do, huh? Then hop to it. I'll be waiting right here.
