A city of dreams still under construction. The cosmos' most famous architects are invited to this place to become Penacony's "Dreamweavers."
An area currently under development by Dreamweavers, inaccessible to the public. Most of the overlapping complexes are still undergoing construction, with only 30% to 40% of the project completed, resulting in unfinished roads scattered throughout. Visitors may catch glimpses of the city's planned framework, but more often than not, they are met with unsettling and bizarre phenomena.
An observation deck where one has a sweeping view of the magnificence of the Golden Hour, and will be the generator of romantic memories for countless lovers in the foreseeable future.
A place where Dreamweavers can show off their capabilities — in physical terms. This is a place where artists and engineers can set off group brawls at any time when they disagree with each other.
You recall the times spent with that girl. Her gentle smile, her graceful steps, and the tears she shed in her last moments before she was murdered by that monster.
At that moment, why did she apologize? What was she thinking? If you had reacted faster, would that silly girl not have died?
A tinge of sourness wells from the depths of your heart, followed by a flame of anger — intense enough to reduce the strongest metal to ashes.
Facing the railings and skyscrapers, you clench your fists...
You think back to the times you spent with her. All those cherished memories... but the one you'll never forget was the complex whirl of emotions when she first revealed her true identity to you.
...Was her past identity all just a ruse? Were those tears when she got stabbed all just an act? Is that being... that thing which fought while being covered in heated flames... who she really is?
Doubt and confusion leave you discombobulated. After all, the line between what's real and what's false in this dreamscape is far more blurred than it seems...
Gazing up at those tall towers before you, you lose yourself deep in contemplation.
The memories you created with that girl are too many to count. Whether they were happy or otherwise, they will become a part of you, like an Oak Cake Roll eaten and ending up in your belly.
The previously mixed emotions have gradually disappeared, replaced by a palette of serenity, a night sky of reality unstreaked by shooting stars.
You know that both of you have a mission to complete, be it in the Dreamscape or reality. To this end, you two are forced to go separate paths, toward your own pre-ordained destinies.
When all of this is over, you will see each other again — that is what you believe. You hope she will be safe and well then.
Just as every book has its final page, your story in Penacony has come to an end. In the climatic moments leading up to the conclusion, the girl became a shooting star in the sky.
Now, the Path of Trailblaze is once again brimming with countless possibilities. It is time to embark on a new journey. No matter where you're headed, the sky above the building will always be etched in your dreams.
You know, this breathtaking view in front of your eyes... is definitely not an illusion.
After all, there is a dawn waiting at the end of the railing, visible in the distance.
Ventilators
(Standard dialogue)
Investigate
The Dreamweavers call the ventilators in the skyscrapers "seasoning boxes" due to their peculiar shape.
The non-kinetic ventilation ball ensures air circulation within and around the building under all circumstances.
Please do not stick your fingers between the slits in the blades, unless you wish to be forced to return to the hotel in reality.
Sensor Light
(Standard dialogue)
Sensor Light
The searchlight, as its name implies, offers a powerful light source for exploration in the dark. Yet, how beneficial are they in a city with constant illumination?
The greatest use for these searchlights is to test the effectiveness of the new Dreamscape's ray tracing.
According to urban legend, on certain nights, this lamp casts the silhouette of a giant winged mammal in the sky — a signal that a superhero of the night is poised to strike.
The Family's surveillance agency, charged with overseeing the entire Dream's Edge's construction, as well as driving out people who should not be there.
Even the wildest of imaginations must be curbed — that is the duty of The Family's surveillance agency.
Dreamscape Lounge
(Standard dialogue)
Dreamscape Lounge
A lounge center built for the Dreamweavers. There are people openly playing hooky in here.
Work of the mind requires even more rest, which is what this bar was specifically designed for.
The tempers and renown of Dreamweavers are typically proportionate, which is why, when they try to come to consensus on a certain problem, it's not uncommon to see verbal debates turn to blows.
Generator
(Standard dialogue)
Investigate
A little house that provides power for the Dream's Edge. There'll always be some who are curious about the principles behind its operation. Eventually, either they can't get the door open, or they'll find that there's nothing behind it.
An integrated power station that supports all the lights of the entire Dream's Edge. When the map goes public, such structures will surely exponentially grow in number.
Ladder
(Standard dialogue)
Ladder
This looks like a ladder that can be scaled. You give it a shot, and notice that it has absolutely no physics collision.
The roof of the building that the ladder is attached to is incomplete. Anyone who steps on it will fall... Perhaps this is the reason why the ladder can't be scaled.
A hunch tells you that even after this Dreamscape is built, you won't be able to climb this ladder.
The skylight here is so high that if you were to accidentally fall in, you might wake up in reality with a headache.
Warm rays of light penetrate in through the glass. A seeming state is prepared for a dance performance, except there's naught a soul there.
"Keep a safe distance to prevent potential falls."
"Don't harbor delusions of jumping down there. The set pieces aren't done yet." A note from a Dreamweaver.
Water Tower
(Standard dialogue)
Investigate
There's no need to inquire: This thing may be called a water tower, but it's all SoulGlad stored in here.
Usually speaking, such water towers won't have corpses soaked in them, nor will they house mermaids.
Locked Building
(Standard dialogue)
Investigate
The door is tightly locked — this place seemingly does not welcome visitors.
The door is locked, which is a kind of protection in itself — no one is really clear on whether or not the construction behind the door is complete.
You push on it, but the door does not budge. You try again... Best not to waste your strength!
Vents
(Standard dialogue)
Investigate
If the sewers are a city's underground labyrinth, then ventilation ducts are the dome's well-kept secret.
Syrupy smoke wafts through the vents... Seems like the exhaust in dreams smells good too.
Suitable for infiltration and concealment; not suitable for pursuit.
You throw a stone into the pipe, but you can't hear the echo. It's not a realistic plan to crawl through the pipe.

Gears
(Approach the elderly Dreamweavers near the entrance to Golden Hour, idle text)
Elderly Dreamweaver: Like I said, we should do it that way...
Furious Dreamweaver: But you did nothing in the end!
Listen
Elderly Dreamweaver: Didn't I warn you before? I've told you several times...
Furious Dreamweaver: You think you know everything!? If you're so capable, why didn't you just handle the problem beforehand? Yeah, easy to see it now, right?
Elderly Dreamweaver: Y—You dare say it again...
Furious Dreamweaver: Tsk, you just can't control your temper, you old idiot. That's why you've never won an argument with me. You deserve it.
(Approach the Dreamweavers west of the entrance to Golden Hour, idle text)
Forlorn Male Dreamweaver: How can that be done...
Overtime Female Dreamweaver: What's her request this time?
Forlorn Male Dreamweaver: It's a long story...
Listen
Forlorn Male Dreamweaver: How can her request ever be fulfilled? It's not like we have that many model resources...
Overtime Female Dreamweaver: Is it Colleen? What weird idea does she have again?
Forlorn Male Dreamweaver: She said that our current dreamscapes are too mundane, and we should include dramas like a galactic battle or some lovers-to-enemies soap opera... Here's her proposal document.
Overtime Female Dreamweaver: ...Tell her there mustn't be any tragedy or violence in dreams.
Overtime Female Dreamweaver: If the guests become too agitated or emotional, they might even wake up from the dream.
Tall Dreamweaver: Building a dream is so difficult nowadays...
Well-Proportioned Dreamweaver: They want it to be exciting yet romantic.
Well-Proportioned Dreamweaver: It's hard to please the clients...
Listen
Tall Dreamweaver: I've been working on it for a month. Now it's almost done, and he suddenly told me it's not "thrilling" enough... but he never mentioned that requirement before...
Skinny Dreamweaver: That's tough. How did you handle it?
Tall Dreamweaver: What else could I do? I made some changes and presented the new design to him a few days later — the one I showed you earlier — and I got rejected again...
Skinny Dreamweaver: Why? Wasn't it good enough?
Well-Proportioned Dreamweaver: Because it was not "romantic" enough.
Skinny Dreamweaver: What the hell!?
Tall Dreamweaver: Ridiculous, right? Guess what happened next? I considered his requirements comprehensively and holistically and spent another week coming up with a new version...
Skinny Dreamweaver: It's the Spider Path Garden, right? That's an awesome design!
Well-Proportioned Dreamweaver: And then it got rejected again.
Skinny Dreamweaver: ...Eh?
Tall Dreamweaver: Well... He hesitated for a long time and finally said... "Maybe let's just use the original plan."
(Approach the Dreamweavers near the statue in The Family's Construction Authority, idle text)
Eloquent Male Dreamweaver: Art is sacred and speculative...
Apathetic Female Dreamweaver: Are you done?
Apathetic Female Dreamweaver: If you are, then hurry and get back to work.
Listen
Eloquent Male Dreamweaver: I firmly believe that our art of dream-building is an expression of contemporary socialization and intimacy. It is purely a mental activity that has nothing to do with others in the external world, and is not subject of objective changes in reality — I mean, the dreamscape...
Eloquent Male Dreamweaver: It seems to me that the art of dream-building today is being constructed in an incredibly absurd, simple, and crude way. It's as if our primal social need — in other words, intimate relationships — that lurks in the depths of our consciousness is being alienated, dominated, and destroyed in a cruel and violent way...
Apathetic Female Dreamweaver: Are you done? If you are, then hurry and get back to work.
Excited Pepeshi: You're so awesome! You've managed to keep your cool while facing your idol. Let's just pretend to "accidentally" bump into her and maybe ask for an autograph!
Calm Pepeshi: Hold on for a moment.
Excited Pepeshi: ...Huh? What are you waiting for...? There's nothing around here.
Calm Pepeshi: I... I'm getting nervous, okay? Let me calm down a bit first!
Empathetic Woman: Seriously, no sane person would do this...
Listen
Empathetic Woman: How many attacks have there been? Those culprits seem to target only the Sweet Dreams Troupe... Why?
Talkative Man: They're insane! They dare to harm those lovely... Ahem! I mean, they dare to vandalize the public property of Penacony! That's unacceptable!
Empathetic Woman: ...The worst part is that super wild rumors have already spread among the guests... Things might escalate into a big mess if the culprit remains at large.
Talkative Man: Exactly! The Sweet Dreams Troupe won't be free from fear until they catch the culprits...
Talkative Man: You know? Just earlier, a "die" asked me when we'll catch the culprit. Poor little thing must be scared these days...
(Approach the Intellitron with a Bubble Hound southwest of The Family's Construction Authority, idle text)
Intellitron Critic: Well, in my opinion...
"Dog": Woof!
Listen
Intellitron Critic: ...I think there's still room for improvement in the city's overhead greenery...
"Dog": Woof!
Intellitron Critic: ...In my opinion, they'd better adjust their local settlement policy in time, or there'll be problems sooner or later...
"Dog": Woof!
Intellitron Critic: ...Considering the recent attacks on the Sweet Dreams Troupe, I think The Family should introduce a protection act for the Dreamscape creations... What do you think?
"Dog": Woof!
Intellitron Critic: Don't just give me "woof"! Are you agreeing or disagreeing?
"Dog": Woof... Uh, I mean, is it possible that I'm just an ordinary dog?
