The Divination Commission is the commission responsible for divination and information processing. The diviners gather here to calculate and predict the Xianzhou's routes and future.
The massive matrix structure upon which the Xianzhou Luofu relies to predict the future. Diviners connect and combine countless jade abaci to foresee and retrodict events of the past, present, and future with the utmost accuracy.
The mooring platform at the entrance of the Divination Commission. Diviners believe the name "Fortuna" will bless them with good fortunes so they often prefer to use this entrance for the delve.
The official location in the Divination Commission delve where issues are discussed publicly. As the master diviner abhors useless meetings, few people can be found gathered here.
A large-scale jade abacus calculation terminal used by the Divination Commission to calculate the route and predict the future. Adjust its layout to align with the declared shape and start the base terminals.

(Talk to Huixing)
What are you doing?
Huixing: The master diviner assigned me here to maintain the Matrix of Prescience, one task of which is routine divinations.
Huixing: But just like sharpening a blade, the Matrix of Prescience Ultima needs frequent operation so that it can be ready for divination at any time.
A thought suddenly pops into Huixing's head, and he [sic] turns to look at you several times.
Huixing: By the way, the craftsman responsible for the maintenance of the Matrix of Prescience isn't here at the moment. Could I trouble you to help me with some routine divinations please, (Trailblazer)?
Okay, but I don't just work for free.
Huixing: That's wonderful. I was afraid you'd turn down any payment.
This isn't my forte, are you sure about this...
Huixing: Yes, in fact only outsiders like you are suitable. You just need to start up the base terminal, and that's all.
Huixing: Don't worry about it. I'd never let you do it for nothing.
You go with Huixing to the Matrix of Prescience.
(Optional: Talk to Huixing)
Huixing: I heard you once started up a base terminal for Master Fu Xuan, so I shouldn't have to waste my breath telling you how to operate things.
Huixing: Routine divinations are not complicated at all. Just match up the star pattern on the matrix with the prompt.
Activate base terminal
Mutare Magnus
Adjust the base terminal to match the declared shape
(Solve the Mutare Magnus puzzle)
(Immediately after completing the puzzle)
You go with Huixing back to the Conclave Hall.
Huixing: Good job. Here's the reward for you, then.
Huixing: Also, I need to keep making more routine divinations... If you don't mind, (Trailblazer), perhaps you could find the time to help out some more.
I'll come back next time then.
What about that craftsman?
Huixing: Your help is more than sufficient.
Huixing: The job is a piece of cake, but it's paid. I don't think you'd want to miss out on that, right?
(Reward: Basic Treasure)
(Optional: Talk to Huixing, prior to opening the chest)
Huixing: Here's the reward I've been meaning to give you. Go on, (Trailblazer), take it.
Huixing: If you don't, it'd be a waste of time for you, and I won't feel good.
(Talk to Huixing)
Routine divination?
Huixing: The divination plan is ready. Shall we begin?
Let's go.
Huixing: Come with me.
You go with Huixing to the Matrix of Prescience.
(Continue onto dialogue below)
Just a moment. I have something else to do.
Huixing: It's no bother. Come back and see me when it's convenient for you.
(Dialogue ends)
(Optional: Talk to Huixing)
Huixing: (Trailblazer), what brings you today?
What's the divination target for today?
Huixing: It's just a fluctuating curve. Nothing worth mentioning.
What exactly is this curve you're talking about?
Huixing: I never thought you'd be such a curious soul, (Trailblazer). Heehee.
Huixing: Then I'll put it bluntly: I was commissioned by a manager who wishes to remain anonymous to predict price fluctuations in the IPC futures trading market.
Do you need to run predictions for that kind of thing?
Huixing: The macro-environment is... really not the best. But there's always someone unwilling to give up. As a matter of fact, it appears we have someone now?
The Matrix of Prescience Ultima can make predictions about that, too?
Huixing: Don't you think ever-changing market conditions are good for training the Matrix of Prescience?
Alright, I won't ask.

(Optional: Talk to Huixing, after opening the chest)
Shall we keep on running divinations?
Huixing: You are so diligent. However, when there're lots of divinations... there would be inevitably some issues. Please come back to me later.

(Talk to Huixing)
Huixing: Hello, (Trailblazer). How can I help you today?
Routine divination?
Huixing: You're just in time. I'm planning to run another routine divination. Let's do it together.
Let's go.
Huixing: Come with me.
You go with Huixing to the Matrix of Prescience.
(Continue onto dialogue below)
Just a moment. I have something else to do.
Huixing: It's no bother. Come back and see me when it's convenient for you.
(Dialogue ends)
(Optional: Talk to Huixing)
Huixing: What's up?
What's the divination target this time?
Huixing: It's just a string of numbers.
I've got to ask: What's that!
Huixing: Ah, have you by any chance heard of the Abelane Galaxy Lottery?
Huixing: Inspired by the Joyseeker, they pick out a random social security number from an Abelane resident once every 8 standardized months, and the jackpot is enough to make you a millionaire.
Huixing: One of my managers who wish to remain anonymous told me that they would find the Chosen One of the day before their social security number is drawn out, and sign a contract with them to split the winnings — while helping hide their identity and all the personal targeting that comes with that.
They've already picked out the next lottery winner, right?
Huixing: Rumor has it that the number set is determined by fluctuations in gravity waves, meaning it is truly a random number. Otherwise, people wouldn't be coming to look for me, would they?
Huixing: It doesn't matter to the Matrix of Prescience though whether a number is random or manipulated by someone. So long as I get enough data from this manager, the result is guaranteed to be accurate.
So it's pooling together money from the poor to gamble?
Huixing: Humans. We mitigate our losses and share our surplus.
Huixing: Thinking over it more positively, short-life species have such ridiculously short lives that a chance to be a millionaire — even if only for a few days — is enough to keep them going at it.
Isn't the lottery really just bait to apprehend illegal time travelers?
Huixing: Ha, I'd love to take a vacation in your brain. What an idea!
Huixing: But as a diviner, the first lesson we ever learn tells us that time travel is impossible.
Alright, I won't ask.

You go with Huixing back to the Conclave Hall.
Huixing: Results obtained. Thank you for your hard work.
So these have nothing to do at all with the Divination Commission?
Huixing: Why would they? I'm using the Matrix of Prescience to build up its databanks, and provide more experience to calibrate more accurate divinations.
Huixing: How could you say it has nothing to do with the Divination Commission?
See you later, then.
Huixing: Next time there'll be more routine divinations. Don't forget.

Huixing: Hello, (Trailblazer). How can I help you today?
Routine divination?
Huixing: Are you ready?

(Optional: Talk to Huixing)
Huixing: What's up?
What's the divination target this time?
Huixing: It's just the results of a sports match. It's not important.
What exactly do you mean by a sports match?
Huixing: Have you ever heard of a game called Taikiyan Roboball, (Trailblazer)?
Huixing: It's a sport that combines racing with combat. Players wear body armor and use weapons to fight for points — and their lives — on this complicated 3D track.
Huixing: One owner, who wishes to remain anonymous, told me he could make a considerable fortune if I could help him predict match results... And we'd take a cut of that.
This really is overkill for the Matrix of Prescience.
Huixing: Yeah, what you're criticizing is... It's just routine divination that helps calibrate the matrix. We're not harming anyone.
Let me get in on this, too!
Huixing: Young (man/lady), heed my advice: Those who run this syndicate and gamble on it are not good people.
Huixing: *sigh* I'm just on retainer. I never ask anything else for fear of getting burned...
Where can I watch one of these matches?
Huixing: It's broadcast on the IPC's premium subscription channel.
Alright, I won't ask.

Huixing: Results obtained. Thanks for your hard work.
This job is so easy, but you come to me each time. Why?
What's the difference between you and me doing it?
Huixing: Of course it's different. After all, this is building up a record of operational work by General Jing Yuan's esteemed guest.
Huixing: Even if someone busted you, who would dare interrogate you?
Huixing: As for me, I restore the matrix after you go and remove any redundant records of course to avoid things spiraling out of control.

Third Puzzle
(Talk to Huixing)
Huixing: Hello, (Trailblazer). How can I help you today?
Routine divination?
Huixing: Yes, there's another job on. (Trailblazer), you're an old hand at this now.
Let's go.
Huixing: Come with me.
You go with Huixing to the Matrix of Prescience.
(Continue onto dialogue below)
Just a moment. I have something else to do.

(Optional: Talk to Huixing)
Huixing: What's up?
What's the divination target this time?
Huixing: It's just a name. You couldn't possibly know it.
I just wanna know, though.
Huixing: Remember that Abelane Galaxy Lottery I was telling you about? It doesn't matter if you don't. All you need to know is that it's a random number lottery where one person can hit the jackpot. It's a big, happy event.
Huixing: Well, there's also an Innocence Lottery over in the same star system — in their prisons. The prize draw offers one prisoner one day of freedom, and all the other prisoners have to pick up their hard labor for the day.
Huixing: A manager who wishes to remain anonymous, wants me to help him predict the Chosen One for this lottery, now.
To release a fugitive? That's asking for trouble.
Huixing: It's not worth worrying about that for a short-life species like yourself. Besides, the prize is just one single day of liberation.
Huixing: Just focus on starting the base terminal up, and don't worry about it. We're not interfering with their justice system, and we're not sending any grievous criminal on the run permanently.
Is it a prisoner who's asking you to make this prediction?
Huixing: Nope, this commission's from the Relatives of Criminal Victims Mutual Aid Society.
Huixing: They paid up so they could learn who's going to be released from prison on a given day — so they can get ready for that...
Huixing: Our results just give people advanced notice about events. In fact, we don't actually change anything.
Alright, I won't ask.

Huixing: This time, it's me.
You?
Huixing: I've been feeling restless lately, and want to use the Matrix of Prescience to run some predictions and set my mind at ease.
What's going on?
Huixing: Excuse me, but let's put a pin in that for now.
I feel like you've been hiding something this whole time.
Huixing: Haha, it's exactly because I can't hide things for much longer that I need to borrow the matrix for a quick divination.
You're working a side gig while you're still on the clock.
Huixing: Yeah, but I've got this disastrous situation at the moment and I'll go mad if I don't get some data on it.

Bad for you, or bad for me?
Huixing: Your star is still shining, so don't worry. It's mine whose situation isn't looking so good...
You couldn't hide it anymore, could you?
Huixing: You've pretty much already guessed it...
(Both dialogue options will lead to the following response)
You've been doing side gigs the whole time!
Huixing: Yeah, I should've been clear from the very outset...
Did you think I didn't know?
Huixing: Correct, I figured that you already knew it.
I really have no idea what you're up to...
Huixing: Can't you tell? I should've been clear from the very outset...
Huixing: I've been moonlighting on the job this whole time, using the Matrix of Prescience to pull in a little pocket money.
Huixing: Tsk... This result really is unfavorable. But (Trailblazer), if you can keep your mouth shut, then there's still scope for change.
Huixing: Ahem, it looks like we'll have to stop here for a while. Anyway, take your reward, please. I've been so grateful for you, (Trailblazer). I feel like we're... a good team.
Huixing: By the way, you won't run off to the Master Diviner and snitch on me, will you?
I will not be doing that.
Huixing: I knew we were good friends.
That really depends on my mood.
Huixing: Hey, that's not funny. Well then, wishing you a good mood every day!
I can't guarantee it.
Huixing: Hey, that's not funny. This whole time, I've never held back any money from you. Look, if there are any similar jobs coming up, we can work together on them.

Censer
(Standard dialogue)
Censer
This incense burner has no smell. It is probably just a decoration.
It is said to be able to create a calming atmosphere that helps the diviners to focus on their work. Yet, you are not sure how it works.
It looks more like a floor lamp than an incense burner, but most diviners insist that it is the latter.
It is an incense burner with a traditional design.
(Approach the Foxian and Vidyadhara at the west end of Conclave Hall, idle text)
Foxian Diviner: I'm thinking of a number, over and over again.
Vidyadhara Woman: You diviners sure talk funny...
Foxian Diviner: These are divine messages beyond the ken of mortals.
Vidyadhara Woman: Then take a look at this fist, and start talking more like a mortal!
Foxian Diviner: ...I said, let me conduct my divination.
Vidyadhara Woman: Now that, I can understand.
(Approach diviners at the desk at the northeast end of Conclave Hall, idle text)
Sitting Diviner: If only you could divine crime statistics...
Sitting Diviner: We could arrest people before they even commit a crime.
Standing Diviner: Is it reliable, though?
Standing Diviner: What if diviners reach different conclusions?
Sitting Diviner: Then the minority accedes to the majority.
Standing Diviner: Are you serious?
(Approach diviner and apprentice at the entrance of Conclave Hall, idle text)
Formula-Cataloguing Diviner: I've got one word for you: "Zero."
Formula-Cataloguing Diviner: And another word for you: "One."
Formula-Cataloguing Diviner: As a "101010" person...
Formula-Cataloguing Diviner: This is Your Way.
Listen
Formula-Cataloguing Diviner: I've got one word for you: "Zero." And another word for you: "One."
Formula-Cataloguing Diviner: Hexagraphic code is "1 - 0 - 1 - 0 - 1 - 0"... Broadcasting the Way, it can be seen...
Dedicated Apprentice: Master, ancient texts use Yin and Yang. Why not use Yin as shut, and Yang as open...
Formula-Cataloguing Diviner: It used to be named thus, but since integration with other civilizations, our algorithm has changed. It's cultural invasion.
