The Chrysos War was a series of wars that took place in Amphoreus.

Overview[]

Before the Flame-Chase Journey began, the Chrysos Heirs waged war against each other over who was a "legitimate" heir of the prophecy.[1] It is believed it was a conflict backed by the gods.[2] During the 33,550,336th eternal recurrence, the first Chrysos War began around the 3770th Light Calendar year, not long after Tribios split into a thousand versions of herself and travelled across Amphoreus to spread the prophecy. The war lasted a century.[3] The first Chrysos War led to the defeat of the Chrysos Heirs and their forces. It was later reignited due to unknown reasons.[4]

The city-states of Loukas, Icaria, and Corinth formed an allied army and laid siege to Okhema. The alliance was successful in capturing Okhema, however an unknown army appeared, lead by Cerydra with Hysilens on the front lines. They won against the allied army, and Cerydra's army marched to Okhema where she declared herself the supreme ruler of Okhema. She would then purge the Council of Elders, becoming the only ruling force in Okhema. Under her rule, Okhema would regain is strength and lay the foundations for prosperity.[5]

Cerydra then raised a vast army and conquered the opposing city-states one by one, until the final opponent, the King of Corinth, threw himself from a window, effectively ending the Chrysos War and cementing Cerydra's legacy and pacing the way for the first Flame-Chase.[5]
