Breath Scorches the Shadow is Castorice's Memosprite Skill.
Gameplay Notes[]
- This ability's DMG is dealt in 10 hits. The DMG distribution across hits is 10% + 10% + 10% + 10% + 10% + 10% + 10% + 10% + 10% + 10%.
- Netherwing's turn will not end until "Claw Splits the Veil" is used, "Wings Sweep the Ruins" is triggered, or if all enemies present on the field are killed by this Skill.
- When Netherwing's current HP is equal to or less than 25% of its Max HP, it will enter the "Back to the Black" state.
- In the third turn of Netherwing after it's summoned, it can only launch "Breath Scorches the Shadow" repeatedly until "Wings Sweep the Ruins" is triggered. This is forced even if all enemies present have no health left.
- "Breath Scorches the Shadow" does not count as an attack for effects such as "War Armor" on Titankin enemies.
- If the first breath has not been launched, casting an Ultimate during "Breath Scorches the Shadow" will interrupt this Memosprite Skill and the Ultimate will be performed.
- If the first breath has been launched, casting Ultimates during "Breath Scorches the Shadow" will add them to the end of the Ultimate/Extra Turn queue, delaying them.
- Castorice's second Bonus Ability, Inverted Torch, increases Netherwing's SPD by 100% for 1 turn when "Breath Scorches the Shadow" deals fatal damage to all enemies on the field or brings them to a point where they cannot lose more HP.
- Castorice's third Bonus Ability, Where The West Wind Dwells, increases Netherwing's DMG dealt by 30% each time it uses "Breath Scorches the Shadow," stacking up to 6 times and lasting until the end of this turn.
- Castorice's second Eidolon, Crown on Wings of Bloom, grants her 2 stacks of "Ardent Will" after summoning Netherwing, which can be used to offset Netherwing's HP consumption when using "Breath Scorches the Shadow."
