Beneath the Black Mirror is an Achievement in the category The Memories We Share.
To unlock this achievement, the player must activate surveillance in the control room and observe the hull of (The Radiant Feldspar/The Trailblaze's Stern/The Tatalov/The Soaring Clock Hand). The achievement is unlocked after activating Exploration Mode for the first time.

Dialogue[]
Investigate- A smooth sphere with white and blue smoke floating around it. The smoke both resembles rising and falling waves and flowing clouds.
- As your hands come into contact with it, you hear a cold electric voice, "Identity confirmed. Loading data." What exactly is this? You can't help but wonder.
- "Connection status to surveillance device normal. Activate Exploration Mode?" The voice echoes in your ears, and you decide to—
- Exploration mode activated!
- The faint blue glow on the surface of the sphere flickers, and you feel everything before your eyes becoming distorted. You are overcome by a wave of dizziness, but manage to adapt and recover after several seconds.
- The boundless sky appears before your eyes, the massive airship hovering above the clouds. Looking below, you see the clouds surging like tidal waves.
- You suddenly realize that this seems to be some sort of virtual reality function that allows the user to feel as though they are really high up in the sky through the surveillance device.
- You notice that the airship is actually constantly moving forward. Past the clouds, you can see the vague outline of a city, as though painted with indistinct brushstrokes, its blurriness thought-provoking.
- Under your control, the camera rotates slowly. This time, the city hidden beyond the clouds is revealed before your eyes.
- Zooming in as far as you can, you seem to be able to make out a few towering buildings. Is that the Golden Hour? You cannot tell for sure what the place ahead is.
- You silently observe everything. In a daze, a sense of detachment from being an observer nearly takes over you.
- "Exploration Mode has ended." The notification sound of the device pulls your vision back to the sphere in front of you.

- You're not certain whether the device is operating normally so for safety reasons, you decide not to randomly press the buttons.
- While adventuring, curiosity often kills the cat. You've heard many such stories before.
