Apollonius is an NPC on Amphoreus, located in "Warbling Shores" Styxia and Beyond Time: An Eternal Page. He appears in the open world after competing Adventure Mission Where Stone and Wind Stood Still.
Profile[]
In the #33,550,337th Eternal Recurrence, Apollonius was born in Light Calendar 3704.[2] He was a Chrysos Heir, previously the Sage of the Helkolithists of the Grove of Epiphany, and later served as an advisor for the Flame-Chase Army of Cerydra.
In Light Calendar 3960, Cerydra sacrificed five hundred Chrysos Heirs, including Apollonius, to gain control of the Law Coreflame. During his last moment, Verginia confessed her love to Apollonius with her final poem and they died together.[2]
After the events of Trailblaze Mission Fallen Petals, Leave Fading Traces of Fragrance, Apollonius is revived inside As I've Written.

Dialogue[]
"Warbling Shores" Styxia[]
- (First interaction)
- "Dux Helkolithist" Apollonius: (Mr./
Miss) (Trailblazer). Welcome to the Imperator's feast! How do you feel? Are you satisfied?
Not too bad.
Still not lavish enough!
- "Dux Helkolithist" Apollonius: Haha, it can't be helped. We still need to save some funds for the forces in the coming day. We do have several Titans to deal with, after all.
- "Dux Helkolithist" Apollonius: Right, a lot of events at this banquet have been organized by me, advisor of the Flame-Chase Army. I already set up a few projects according to the requests of a few people for the banquet. If you have something you want, you can come find me too.
What new projects have you added?- "Dux Helkolithist" Apollonius: Well, to give an example, the wine-stomper is something that Seneca and Labienus requested.
- "Dux Helkolithist" Apollonius: To ensure the wine-stomping can proceed smoothly, we also hired a priest of Phagousa. They're all... veteran stompers...
How about you add some trashcans for me.
- "Dux Helkolithist" Apollonius: Trash... cans? I... dear guest, are you worried about hygiene? Don't worry, we have someone specifically here to clean things up!
How about you put in a Dreampool for me.
- "Dux Helkolithist" Apollonius: Dream... pool? I never heard of this. Do you have insomnia, dear guest? Don't worry, the Imperator does not lack for great doctors!
Make me an arcade.
- "Dux Helkolithist" Apollonius: Ar... cade? I never heard of such a thing. However, at Styxia there are places to frolic and play everywhere. Is the banquet unsatisfactory? Are the items planned not interesting enough...
- "Dux Helkolithist" Apollonius: We thank you for your valuable advice. The banquet is Dux Gladiorum's most favorite thing. Ever since she joined us, banquets have become routine for the Flame-Chasers.
- "Dux Helkolithist" Apollonius: I hope you can enjoy this moment as well. As for me, I have a great many preparations that I must take charge of, so I never quite can fully enjoy this celebration. Haha.
- (Subsequent interactions)
- "Dux Helkolithist" Apollonius: Ah, (Mr./
Miss) (Trailblazer), I knew you wouldn't miss such a splendid occasion. If you need any help during the banquet, don't hesitate to let me know!
Dux Helkolithist, let's have a chat.
- "Dux Helkolithist" Apollonius: Since you're in the mood for conversation, I certainly wouldn't want to spoil it. What do you want to talk about?
Let's talk about your past.
- "Dux Helkolithist" Apollonius: You're curious about my past? Hah, I fear you'll be disappointed — there are no tales of intrigue to share [sic]
- "Dux Helkolithist" Apollonius: In my youth, I joined the Grove, immersed in studies beneath its all-shrouding sky dome.
- "Dux Helkolithist" Apollonius: Rising from student to mentor, then professor, and finally sage... it all unfolded as if destined.
- "Dux Helkolithist" Apollonius: Only when the Imperator raised the Flame-Chase banner did I see beyond the sky dome to a sky swallowed by calamity.
- "Dux Helkolithist" Apollonius: Yet under the Titans' protection, most Sages of the Grove remained willfully blind, shackled by self-indulgent "knowledge"...
- "Dux Helkolithist" Apollonius: When persuasion failed, I left the Grove. As Imperator's advisor, I marshaled armies to shoulder this world's burdens.
Let's talk about your future.
- "Dux Helkolithist" Apollonius: The future? I'll do my duty, awaiting Amphoreus's rebirth. Nothing more.
- "Dux Helkolithist" Apollonius: The sea of stars fascinated the Imperator, but holds no allure for me. My sole concern is Amphoreus's fate.
- "Dux Helkolithist" Apollonius: Perhaps when they sail triumphantly toward the cosmos... I'll return to the Grove, a common sage lost in books... and occasional exercise.
Done chatting for now.
- "Dux Helkolithist" Apollonius: Alright. I won't bother you anymore, great one. Another time!
You haven't had anything on your mind lately, have you?
- "Dux Helkolithist" Apollonius: Something on my mind? If I had to say something... Getting heckled by everyone when I'm walking beside Verginia is kind of an annoyance.
- "Dux Helkolithist" Apollonius: I don't really care, but Verginia's shy. She can't help but hide behind me when this happens.
- "Dux Helkolithist" Apollonius: However... and maybe it's an old problem from me being a sage and an advisor... I keep thinking a thought about... well, what if the Flame-Chase Journey truly can be as perfect as imagined?
Bro, don't be like that...
Destroy it, it's gonna reset...- "Dux Helkolithist" Apollonius: Hah, why the tension, dear guest? As a sage of the Flame-Chase, such worries are only natural.
- "Dux Helkolithist" Apollonius: However, there is something that truly troubles the heart that I wish to share with you. Ever since Verginia confessed to me, I feel that the attention I give her is gradually overwhelming everything else...
- "Dux Helkolithist" Apollonius: To be honest, this makes me a bit fearful. For the advisor of the Flame-Chase Army, this is not a good sign.
- "Dux Helkolithist" Apollonius: When we sail again, I'll strive to focus. But until then, let us savor this splendid banquet...
- "Dux Helkolithist" Apollonius: Maybe it will be okay if I slightly indulge myself a little...
Another time!
- "Dux Helkolithist" Apollonius: Alright. I won't bother you anymore, great one. Another time!
Beyond Time: An Eternal Page[]
- "Dux Brumalis" Seneca: Ha, Labienus, can your stomach still handle it? Looks like I'm gonna win this one.
- "Dux Fragoris" Labienus: Ugh... I just drank too much water. It's all because the honey brew here is too watery!
- Hysilens: In that case, would you like to try the richest honey brew?
- Hysilens: After the black tide receded, I returned to my homeland and dug up all twelve bottles that Phagousa had buried in the seabed.
- Hysilens: Today, have as much Essence of Icy Spring as you wish! Let's drink to our heart's content!
- "Dux Carminum" Verginia: A—As much as I wish? But it's something so precious...
- Hysilens: Back then, Phagousa buried them in the seabed because she wanted to share them with her descendants after the black tide had receded. Aren't they perfect for a celebration now?
- "Dux Helkolithist" Apollonius: Since Dux Gladiorum insists so passionately, we'll humbly accept the offer. Little Verginia, looks like you'll get your chance to shine today.
- Hysilens: Well then, here's to our yesterdays and tomorrows.
Cheers to the Flame-Chase Journey!
To the new world!
To Amphoreus!- "Dux Brumalis" Seneca: Mmm... W—Wow! That really hit the spot! Phagousa's collection really lives up to its reputation!
- "Dux Carminum" Verginia: Though it tastes a little astringent at first, if you let it sit in your mouth for a moment, you can taste a subtle sweetness... and a hint of sea breeze.
- "Dux Fragoris" Labienus: Hmm, the taste is exquisite indeed. But as loyal subjects, how could we enjoy this by ourselves? Go and invite the Great Imperator.
- Hysilens: I'll join her for drinks later. For now, please enjoy yourselves to the fullest. And remember: We're not leaving until our cups run dry!
- "Dux Brumalis" Seneca: Alright then, today I'll be the last one standing! Who's my next challenger?
- "Dux Helkolithist" Apollonius: Your time to shine, Verginia.
- "Dux Carminum" Verginia: Then I'll... I'll do it!
- Hysilens: Little Gray Fry, care to join me for a drink? Look...
- Hysilens: The Dew of Divine Blood, you should still remember its taste. Though, it's fine if you don't, I can help you recall it.
- Hysilens: Cheers, Little Gray Fry.
Cheers, Hysilens.
- (Subsequent interactions)
Listen- "Dux Brumalis" Seneca: This... is... impossible...
- "Dux Carminum" Verginia: Oh, (Mr./
Miss) (Trailblazer), please help Seneca! She was having a drinking contest with me. W—We were drinking honey brew, but she's about to hit the floor after just a few cups!
Just a few cups...
How many cups did you have, exactly?- "Dux Fragoris" Labienus: I was keeping score. A whopping total of 52 cups.
- "Dux Helkolithist" Apollonius: Dux Brumalis, you drink well, but it's unfortunate you ran into a monster like little Verginia. There's no shame in this loss!
- "Dux Brumalis" Seneca: Nonsense... I'm... not done yet... I can still drink on...
- "Dux Fragoris" Labienus: Looks like this victory feast is gonna last for quite a while, haha!
