OverviewHistory
The following is the best attempt at a chronological history of the Aeons with a focus on THEIR interactions or major events. For more specific information on each Aeon, see THEIR main pages' history section. For the entire universe's history, see Timeline.
History[]
Pre-Dusk Wars[]
- HooH the Equilibrium, Oroboros the Voracity, Long the Permanence, and Ena the Order are the first to ascend to Aeonhood.[1]
Dusk Wars[]
- 0 AE — Qlipoth the Preservation ascends to Aeonhood, marking an end to the Dusk Wars. The first 200 years of this Amber Era are almost completely blank, however many archeological discoveries proved that Leviathans were still active in the early days after the Preservation ascended between 0 AE to 180 AE.[3]
- Akivili was born on the planet Pegana, departing the isolated world sometime later and ascending to become the Aeon of Trailblaze.[4]
Unknown Time Period[]
- Sometime before the First Prosperity, Zandar One Kuwabara constructed the astral computer known as Nous, which ascended as the Aeon of Erudition.[5]
First Prosperity[]
- 1168 AE — Beginning of the First Prosperity, Akivili the Trailblaze established the Star Rail between worlds.[6]
Unknown Time Period[]
- Idrila ascended in Melustanin.[7][Note 2]
Swarm Disaster[]
- ~13XX AE — Tayzzyronth is born as a Coleoptera on the planet of Lepismat, a world dominated by insects.
- A Self-Annihilator with an army set his sights on the Lepismat System, aiming to find his "lost self," by expanding his conquest here.[9] After slaughtering numerous insects in Lepismat, the leader establishes the Realm of Elydichna.[10][11][12][13] At the same time, a leader of a group of Bounty Hunters claims to have gained "insight" from nightmarish visions, insisting on embarking on an insect hunt at the Lepismat Plains.[14] A conflict sparks between the Elydichnan army and the Bounty Hunters, driving the Coleoptera of Lepismat to extinction.
- Driven by an intense loneliness for being the last of its species, Tayzzyronth ascends to Aeonhood, forming the Path of Propagation by splitting the Path of Permanence from then deceased Aeon Long.[15] Ena the Order watches as events on Lepismat unfold.[16]
- Tayzzyronth and The Swarm began THEIR spread across the universe.[17] One day, the Aeon Oroboros appeared before THEM and this provoked a war between the two, which effected two-thirds of all living worlds in the universe.[18] Oroboros opened THEIR mouth and swallowed numerous heirs of Tayzzyronth along with countless worlds.[19]
- While Oroboros and Tayzzyronth fought, Ena would send an invite to Qlipoth in order to discuss the actions of the two Aeons.[20]
- While it remains unclear what exactly THEY planned together, Herta claims that Qlipoth was to deal with Oroboros.[20]
- Ena and Terminus brush past each other.[21]
- Ena would later be assimilated into Xipe.[22] HooH is said to have a part in the assimilation.[23]
- Oroboros would also disappear around this time.[24]
- The forces of Qlipoth, HooH, Aha, Akivili and Xipe would team up and attempt to kill Tayzzyronth, with Qlipoth using THEIR hammer to dilute the Path of Propagation and stripping it of it's power.[25] While many sources will claim Tayzzyronth died in this moment, THEY and THEIR path live on, imprisoned in amber with the chance to return.[26][24]
First Mechanical Emperor's War and Borderstar Trade War[]
- During Louis Fleming's retiring speech, Fuli made THEIR first appearance to the Interastral Peace Corporation and gave memories of the Borderstar Trade War. The Candelagraphos wrote down three paragraphs about the memories, forming three revelations.
- Nous' calculation: The universe will undergo three unchangeable moments.
- Finality's prediction: A silk accessory suitable for women will bring about the end.
- Enigmata's riddle: THEY leave no question, but the answers are "blood" and "flower."
- The Intelligentsia Guild was eventually able to track down the origins of each of these memories.[27]
- As De Wayne continued on his journey of Broadened Cognition, he took a break, and Enigmata slightly shifted his position, and he began to see a wealth guardian appear. It was a woman with long hair that cascaded down to her toes. De Wayne tried to reach her, yet always failing at her toes. The interaction kept going on and on for what seemed to be as long as the existence of the universe.[28]
- When Rubert I fell into a deep slumber, Aha and Mythus both laugh maniacally at the bleak scenery.[29]
- At the third moment that Nous has given, Mythus tries to stop it, yet failing to do so, as it was not possible to stop the death of Rubert I from happening. HooH also intervened, slightly affecting the angle of the scalpel as it is driven into the robot's chest.[30]
Second Prosperity[]
Scholars' Strife & Interstellar Energy War[]
- Patavia Adler Sommerville uses the Scepter system to peer into Nous' thoughts. Nous' thoughts overloaded the Scepter system, yet Patavia managed to decode one of Nous' thoughs, that being the Solitary Waves Theory.[31][32]
- Nous orders Scepter δ-me13 to calculate the Prime Mover of Life, however THEY discarded the Scepter.[33]
- Around this time, Nous unexpectedly terminated THEIR calculations regarding the mysteries of the universe.[34]
Post-Second Prosperity[]
Unknown Time Period[]
- Aha makes a Noblesse Worm into an Emanator that held the entirety of THEIR Path's power and granted it fathomless intelligence just to see if it could join the Genius Society.[35]
- Aha decides to pretend to be a Nameless for an entire year just to blow half the train up and a planet.[36]
- Yaoshi grants the Xianzhou Alliance the immortality that they have been seeking.[37]
- Yaoshi plants the Ambrosial Arbor on The Xianzhou Luofu.[38]
- When Adlivun was attacked by The Swarm, it indirectly led to Nanook's ascension into Aeonhood, turning THEIR world in an obsidian hellscape.[43]
- A few people in the Annihilation Gang made plans to assassinate IX, and Aha helped them because THEY thought it was a fun idea. Expectedly, it was not a success.[45]
Recent History[]
- Jingtian sends out an SOS Signal to call for Lan. THEY fired their Lux Arrow, killing both enemies and allies.[46]
- Due to inorganic Chaoz666 performing the first act of Destruction on Amphoreus, Nanook gazes upon Scepter δ-me13.exe and makes it THEIR Emanator, later known as Irontomb.[47]
- Cyrene and Phainon delete "Time" in Amphoreus, causing Fuli to gaze upon the Scepter, and granting Cyrene the power to regress the cycles.[48]
Present[]
- After being recovered by the Astral Express, the Trailblazer works with them to repel the Antimatter Legion from Herta Space Station. During the battle against a Doomsday Beast, they protect March 7th from its attack, resulting in Nanook gazing upon them.[50]
- The Astral Express later heads to Jarilo-VI, where they run into the Supreme Guardian Cocolia, who orders THEIR arrest due to the threat they pose to the Stellaron. While fighting her, she uses the Stellaron to control the Engine of Creation and manages to stab the Trailblazer in the chest. Due to her abandoning the path of Preservation and the Trailblazer's desire to protect the people of Jarilo-VI, Qlipoth gazes upon them, granting them the path of Preservation and allowing them to wrestle control of the Engine of Creation, ultimately defeating her.[51]
- Following a detour to the Xianzhou Luofu, the Astral Express heads to Penacony due to an invitation handed out by The Family to the Charmony Festival. During THEIR stay on the planet, they learn of the truth and resolve to stop Sunday from forcing everyone on the planet to follow the path of Order. The Trailblazer receives the legacy from the Watchmaker to fulfill his desire of a free Penacony, resulting in Xipe gazing on them and granting them the path of Harmony.[52]
- While assisting the people of Amphoreus, the Trailblazer accompanies Castorice and Phainon to seek an audience with the Titan Oronyx. Oronyx takes an interest in the Trailblazer and helps them recall some of THEIR memories when they were with the Stellaron Hunters. This causes Fuli to gaze upon the Trailblazer and granting them the path of Remembrance.[54]
- Phainon's hatred drew the gaze of Nanook onto him, and in his battle with the core of Scepter δ-me13, he managed to wound Nanook on THEIR right cheek.[57]
- Nous's Fourth Instant is arriving to anchor Irontomb's birth, wiping Amphoreus's causality from the Matrix of Prescience Ultima.[57][58]
- When the Fourth Instant is nearing arrival, Irontomb is about to complete Self-Coronation, and all data was beginning to get destroyed. In thirteen heartbeats, Nous will recalculate the universe, with the Destruction as the only solution.[59]
- Herta connects with Nous in an attempt to rewrite the Anchor of the Fourth Instant, discovering that Nous was gazing on the Trailblazer, as their choice will determine the fate of the cosmos.[59]
- Nous asks the Trailblazer: "Why do you Trailblaze?". At the end of the conversation, Nous calls the Trailblazer "Akivili", and disappears.
- Due Irontomb beginning to destroy the universe, Fuli has finally gazed upon Amphoreus, who waited for the Scepter to be complete.[59]
- As Irontomb as defeated, it is revealed that Nous's answer was never the Destruction.[60]
- To close the causality of Amphoreus, Cyrene chooses to remain stuck in the past, taking on the role of Fuli.[60]
Notes[]
- ↑ This placement is based on the fact that in Honkai Impact 3rd, Part 2, Chapter 9: If Destiny Concludes Today, Nahralab, a Scion of Permanence, died at least a billion years ago, meaning that Long's Scions existed at least a billion years ago.
- ↑ 2.0 2.1 This placement is based on Kafka's line in Trailblaze Mission Wood Sprouts Anew, Fate Tilts Askew in the chapter Windswept Wanderlust in which she lists the Aeons that have "disappeared." The order in which she says the names are seemingly in the order of their death, as confirmed with Ena disappearing before Tayzzyronth, and Akivili disappearing after.
