Adler is an NPC aboard Herta Space Station, located in the Supply Zone.
Profile[]
Adler is one of Herta Space Station's youngest researchers but has already reached Lv. 2 in the Department of Ecology. His area of expertise is rare species, partially due to their difference from — and his perceived resentment towards — human adults. He invented the Adler Tier System used by the Herta Space Station to identify and classify organisms.[1]

Dialogue[]
- (First interaction)
- Adler: How strange... it was right here a minute ago... did my eyes make a mistake? It can't be.
Are you looking for something?
- Adler: Ahhh!
- Adler: Please don't sneak up behind people, especially when they are concentrating.
- Adler: However... I don't think I've seen you before. Are you a new researcher?
- Adler: Judging from your outfit, you don't look like you are a big shot from the Department of Ecology. Anyway, I better not talk about this with you.
What are you talking about?
- Adler: Of course it's about a rare organism...
- Adler: Hold on, who are you? I don't think I've seen you before.
- Adler: You don't look like you are from the Department of Ecology. Anyway, I better not talk about this with you.
- (Continue onto dialogue options below)
- (Subsequent interactions)
- Adler: We meet again. Did you find any new creatures recently?
What creatures do you study?
- Adler: Rare species of course. Those little creatures are so much more interesting than human grown-ups!
- Adler: However... the curiosity in your eyes... I don't see that a lot in grown-ups' eyes.
- Adler: Let me know if you have any questions. I'll tell you everything I know.
What is your favorite rare species?
- Adler: As a researcher, I treat every rare species equally. I don't have a preference.
- Adler: But from my personal perspective... I'd say Wubbaboos are my favorite.
- Adler: Although they can be mischievous sometimes, they are very logical and they value relationships a lot.
- Adler: They are so much better than the grown-ups in the space station...
What made you study rare species?
- Adler: Their ways of expression and thinking are very different from human grown-ups.
- Adler: But their ways of handling things and the motives behind their behaviors are undeniably often more logical than that of the humans'.
- Adler: It's probably their sense of logic that makes me want to study them.
Can you understand their language?
- Adler: Of course.
- Adler: You might think I am a kid, but I understand many languages spoken by rare species!
- Adler: Their languages are not in the same dimension as ours. They use one syllable to express many different meanings.
- Adler: For example, Wubbaboo's short and long whines mean completely different things.
- Adler: You can join the Department of Ecology to study it if you are interested.
I better leave you alone.
- Adler: Please keep me posted if you find out anything about rare species.

- (Subsequent interactions, after completing Adventure Mission Requiem Mass)
- Adler: We meet again. How have you been? Chatted with any Wubbaboo lately?
I have some questions for you...
- Adler: Ask away! As long as it's about rare species, I'll tell you everything I know!
Why is there one really big Wubbaboo?
- Adler: Wubbaboo has a chance to mutate as they grow and can rapidly increase in size, but that possibility is very low.
- Adler: As for the one you mentioned... If Wubbaboos are one big family, then such an individual would definitely be the parent.
Where are Wubbaboos usually found?
- Adler: They go everywhere apart from Madam Herta's and the lead researcher's offices.
- Adler: I'll let you in on a secret — They like to be away from people.
Do you enjoy chatting with Wubbaboo?
- Adler: Of course. I was the only one who could understand them on the space station before you got here.
- Adler: That lonely feeling... *sigh* I feel so bad for them. That's why I chat with them whenever I can.
- Adler: And they're pretty fun to talk to! You should try it when you've got the chance.
That's all questions I have.
- Adler: Cool. Come find me again if you have questions about rare species.
