I haven’t checked the latest updates but did we get a refund QoL update for our characters?
I mean can we undo the materials and credits we invested m?
Would be useful since we know many old units have been powercrept to near futility
Characters coming back to life is usually a business decision. It’s rarely an artistic one. It’s done to appease fans and make more money out of them. You see it in fiction all the time.
For that reason I’m all for keeping characters dead also for the reasons OP said
Bronya copium 😥
Abuse? How?
There will be limitations as to what you can refund - like you shouldn't be able to refund level since you get regular passes when you hit a certain level. But I'm mainly referring to traces.
If you spent a lot maxing out someone like Bronya... she's all but useless now if you have top Harmony units.
I don't believe in "never" either since someone here said we won't get an extra playable path. That comment did not age well.

Save your rolls for 3.2
They obviously rerun characters to compliment new ones.
Lingsha works well as the sustain/dps in a Fugue team. Boothill benefits from Fugue too.
Robin pairs well with Sunday to further boost hyper carry or Feixiao.
Jade will be great with The Herta for optimum farming or Pure Fiction
Silver Wolf is… I dunno. She hasn’t had a rerun in a long time though
A mix of DPS, sustain, support but with a cost
E.g. deal damage but also apply buff to enemy as a side effect or heal party member but also apply debuff to them. Or apply shield to everyone party member but reduce attack
The funny one I’m thinking is to apply an instant KO buff to every unit on the field. And whenever a unit gets KO’d they automatically revive with a new buff
Character design is redundant, bland, and lacks inspiration
Next to top-tier harmony characters, top-tier preservation characters (maybe even abundance) have the best value, gameplay-wise.
Aventurine is easier to slot into different teams compared to top-tier DPS who need a specific team built around them…
But ofc it depends on what you need as the folks here mentioned
Textbook narcissism
Quantum Hunt, four star is my guess - and his kit will be heavily focused on follow-up
We will get a new playable path; not an element, a path. How does this path play? A new gameplay mechanic like a summoned creature mechanic - so think of Topaz but you can control Numby.
March 7th's five-star form will be revealed though will not be summonable until a later patch like 3.1 or 3.2.
At the conclusion of the new world's story, a member of the Express will permanently leave and be replaced; I hesitate to predict this character will die but more so decide to stay behind in a planet. It could be March 7th after she discovers her true identity.
Well, since I'm making all these predictions, it only makes sense for Remembrance to be the theme of 3.0 onwards. The new world will be about Remembrance (as Black Swan alluded), the TB's new path is Remembrance, the new playable path is Remembrance, and March 7th REMEMBERS her true form.
Also some not-so-bold predictions:
We get adult Herta as a playable character, maybe even as early as 3.0 itself
Screwllum will finally be playable at some point... maybe around 3.3 or so
We get a Honkai Impact character as part of the 3.0 story; will they be playable? I don't know
The triple re-run banner will return in the first half of 3.0
Save your Stellar Jade.
K thx bye
4 star and he'll be like QQ but faster and Nihility instead of Erudition... potentially making QQ obsolete (we still love you though)
Sunday isn't 100% in the voting? Fraud
The HP buff will mainly work on a character that uses HP to deal damage like Blade. So if they decide to make this more of a meta... I can see a Harmony character buffing HP as a support. But so far, all signs point to Blade being a one-of-a-kind DPS...
How come no one buffs HP or defense? I get that’s what preservation characters do but if you have a Harmony character who did that you could make an immortal meta lol. 😆
Each new version of the SU becomes more and more arcade-like. It's more about pumping out insane damage totals as opposed to figuring out how to beat it. I guess that's a drastic shift from G&G and Swarm, which are still giving many players trouble at the highest levels.
Ultimate support because we don't really have one... right?
As for summon-based, the ornament fits a DPS more than a support. So if it fits Sunday, he'll be a support and a sub-DPS?
Sometimes seeing people post about gacha games like HSR just makes me realize what kind of degen hobby this "genre" is
That could be the next mechanic they start enabling. The creature summoning is another one as we’ve seen with Lingsha and the planar ornaments…
