I recently restarted hsr due to acc issues, and im at belobog on m 5th day of playing lol
On my old acc i was a day 1 player with like... a lot of characters. and so many five stars that i didn't know what to do with. i miss those days

I keep calling Phainon as "Paimon" in my brain lol
Baiheng is literally Star Rail's Qiqi. (Including the High-Cloud Quintet in this)

Honestly HSR is losing it's appeal to me, and it's mostly because I feel like I can't keep up with it anymore. I love the game and the story, but the whole powercreep and meta is getting on my nerves. I don't follow meta and usually don't care for meta/powercreep stuff, I play because I need a place to relax and unravel, But after the live stream it honestly feels like I have to get one of the newer characters to be able to play the game "smoothly." I mean, I'm doing decent dmg with FF and Jing Yuan, but then you got the "Sunday is a must to play Jing Yuan" even though I hate him and will never pull for him. It just feels so much harder to be able to enjoy the game without following meta
Now, the new shop/standard character thing
I don't mind the change and I like the change to be able to get characters you want from losing the 50/50 now, but as someone who's only lost once in HSR it loses it's appeal somewhat. I would like to get Blade and Fu Xuan, but I don't think I'll get the chance to...first time in my life I'm hoping I lose my 50/50 lol
For the shop, I don't really care about it, but if it's true that we have to pay to be able to get the LC's then...well, I get that they're trying to make money out of this but still, we should be able to get those token things through something in the game. Or at least, be able to buy them using stellar jades.
Why is Penacony's storyline so long and confusing like the damn puzzles we have to do I almost rage-quitted after spending 30 mins on one puzzle like am I just stupid or what, why is it so hard for me to solve a puzzle
I also don't understand Belobog's story. Or how preservation TB works. Anyone willing to give me a summary? (In desperate need of a shielder)

Y'know how Genshin has those IRL counterparts right? I haven't seen much of HSR counterparts IRL so here they are!
Belobog I bet is the Soviet Union before/after it disabled or whatever, haven't not learn that in history yet but it just gives off overall vibes of the Soviet Union, especially all the snow and how...poor/rural/behind it is
Xianzhou Loufu I'm 99.9% sure is the Tang dynasty, with all the other ships in the alliance being other dynasties. I also think the Yaoqing is based off the Qin dynasty, but we don't know enough about it yet
Penacony is America for sure. Like, during the industrial revolution where all the Pepsi and Coke products got popular and all that jazz. I don't remember everything that happened during the revolution

So, I'm on the part where we have to fight those guards and Bronya. I can get through the first wave fine, but when I get to Bronya's wave, I always die without fail, and I used all the buff items I can, I think, so I think maybe I'm in trouble. Got any tips?
